- Volume 1 Chapter 78 Fourth Ventura Theme Part 2
Fourth Ventura Theme (part 2)
Irrespective of how intriguing the act was and the collective action put into the performance, the students of MicroTech Academy still took it as a dreary show. All-day long they were surrounded by machines and assignments, so this theme was merely like a sour taste for what they were familiar with.
Their patience was at the limit.
They could recognize Lui, so they were willing to drag him out of the play.
But, what would the management say? Just how rude they were? So be it, no one can tell that they were students of some institutionall hail the Academy for the idea of casual clothing.
The blame was placed on the helper, and now the prosecutor was questioning the accused.
According to the script, all the fault and pieces of evidence pointed to the aider and abettor as who had wronged the company where it was hired.
The judge took a few seconds and pronounced the verdict.
The verdict was to dismantle and blast the base ch.i.p.s of the robot helper who was found guilty of stealing.
It was a tough decision that was meant to carry out immediately. Two robots came forward with heavy armor, and they were there to execute the verdict.
The audience took the whole scenario like one big act while the armor had real ammunition to blast Lui. It was horrible, and no one knew about it, even the actors who were about to fire the arms were oblivious.
It was just for a performance.
“Enough! Man, let’s steal Lui right from under their nose. Who knows how long they plan to carry out the performance?” an apprehensive student suggested.
He couldn’t wait to see the other theme through the glass doors and be intrigued by all the fascinating characters of the game. He was a gamer in his spare time, so his patience was waning.
“Alright, we were thinking the same,” two sizably active students jumped on the stage.
The armor was pointed towards Lui now, and any moment the ammunition would blast him into smithereens. The two students didn’t stop instead they leapt to grab Lui and hurriedly fled before anyone could stop them.
The same moment they grabbed Lui was the exact moment the ammunition was fired. The students jumped down from the stage, and there was a huge blast. It was a more prominent stage, and still, the ground was blasted along.
The students heard the blast and gasped. They already stepped away from the stage, and the one who had fired became terrified to see the situation and ran off the stage. He couldn’t believe that he had been given real arms to enact the judge’s verdict.
The audience was petrified. They all ran in opposites to save their lives while the managers of the Fourth Ventura came running to get a hold on the situation before it aggravates. The students already ran towards the second part of the theme park on the floor, which was further from the stage literally, so it didn’t disturb even a bit.
“Buddy, you barely escaped your death today,” the students who grabbed Lui declared as they were sweating and panting with the fear. They couldn’t believe that their impatience proved to be a blessing in disguise today else if anything were to happen to this student, they might have been facing endless querying from the Academy.
“And who exactly pushed me onto the stage?” Lui asked. He has faced many unnerving experiences lately, so today’s incident was pretty a standard routine for him. But the question is who the heck wanted to blast him away? He wondered to himself. None of his known rivals possesses such guts.
The students looked amongst themselves to avoid Lui’s questioning eyes.
“Look! Over there looks like fun, please, I had wanted to see this theme closely,” the gamer boy started begging.
“Since we are already here, why you are overacting?” another student taunted.
“Alright Lui, since we saved you at the nick of time, don’t mention this to others. Else, the Academy would strictly have us investigated,” another student mentioned with a tone of sincerity. It wasn’t his intention to harm Lui, nor did he intentionally shove him onto the stage; they were just having fun, right? The student thought to himself.
“Sure, as long as you share any information you know or might have like who could be behind it, for example,” Lui voiced meaningfully. At the same time, the other students darted their eyes about and around in a bid to avoid Lui’s sober eyes.
Lui didn’t look like a teen when he was asking the question because of his stern tone.
If he was pushed on the stage, that means, there was something dubious he had to question.
“It’s not that I knew what would happen?” the guilty student revealed almost inaudibly as he shrugged his shoulders. He had unwillingly forced himself to speak out.
“No problem, I wouldn’t force you,” Lui patted the student on his shoulder and entered into the holographic world of the popular games with the other students.
The student took a step back as he watched the others file into the holographic world and shook his head; he was not supposed to be lenient, right? His guilty conscience questioned itself even if the adversary pulls an innocent disposition.
The one who was meant to be an enemy should remain an enemy. Questions were running through his mind, he disliked Lui, so he followed the instructions of the unknown caller, but his intention was not to seriously hurt him.
Lui also shook his head as he thought to himself that one day, everything would come out in the open; he only needs to be patient and persistent. He concluded.
The instructor was striding by the exit. He was relaxing a bit when he had heard the blast. He swiftly ran to see what was happening, but when he arrived, he saw his students watching and walking about other parts of the theme park floors. He heaved a sigh of relief and conversed with the park managers about the incident.
It was a matter of the safety and security of whoever visited the park, so the administration was liable for any anomaly.
