Microtech: Academy Of Idiots - Volume 1 Chapter 90 Interview
Micron was a big name in the manufacturing field.
Lui could tell how organized they were, the way the administration received and treated him.
It was what he want, he don’t want his project to end up in the irresponsible hands.
They could understand why the student was given a security assistant.
Since Lui was not invited to visit the manufacturing plant, he was taken directly to the main office.
A man was sitting behind the desk which was designed with the latest technology, Lui always kept a look at the newer technologies he was aware.
This model of the desk was designed solely for the bigger corporations and their executives, it was laced with all kind of security tool which could be used in case of emergency.
Even if an enemy happened to come in the office and threaten the executive, he himself could save his life by giving few gesture commands, it was hidden security guard.
The man was wearing custom made suiting.
He gestured Lui to sit and the man who brought him here went back.
When Lui visited another manufacturing plant, there were people surrounding the executive in his office, and it looked weird for someone who thought to talk about important things in person.
“May I ask why this genius thought to trust Micron for this project?” Lui has mentioned his purpose of the visit when the administration took a formal interview and they sent the answers to the executive.
He was fazed by the solemn expressions and passive question instead he cleared his throat and nodded, “I found this company more reliable when it comes to the project, and the safety of blueprints, of course I don’t wish anyone to copy my project and start selling without permission,”
He answered with confident.
The executive nodded and then looked at the file placed in front of him.
“Since the project has much importance, I am sure once the manufacturers found out that you are handing it over to someone, they would contact you and bid a higher price, oh yes, keep in mind the Micron never reoffer once the price is set, what would be your reaction?”
It was direction question and probably Lui was not expecting but Toto has clearly told him everything.
“I never worked on this project for the sake of money, and my intention would remain the same no matter what,” Lui solemnly answered.
There was hint of strong determination in his tone.
“Do you have permission from your academy?” the executive asked another question.
Lui did not take time he spoke, “Though MicroTech gives scholarsh.i.p.s and grants to the needy students but they never influence their project, the students are free to choose any company for the further industrial development of the project and the all type of ownership is related to the student who worked on it,”
This was one of the commendable rule of the MicroTech, and probably MicroTech was the only academy who gave its student’s full rights of the projects.
Other academies always mentioned that they will be owner of ten percent or twenty percent of the legal ownership of the projects of all type which students prepared under the supervision of the academy.
Many Deans mocked Mu Ten for making such rule but he never went back what he had passed in front of the board of honor.
Though few members were not happy but they cannot go against a rule which was passed through voting.
“I believe it will be a strong bond for the work contract between Micron and Mr. Lui,” the executive stood up and extended his hand toward Lui.
For the time, a corporate smile appeared on his face.
The terms and conditions were already discussed and Lui was happy about the price they offered.
It was lot indeed.
He could follow all his plans without worrying about money.
First of all, he would contact to Mr. Mu Ten and broke this news to him.
He was the one who took the responsibility of an orphan and encouraged him.
It was because of his backing that Lui was able to survive until now.
And Lui cannot deny goodwill.
As he left the office, he was taken to the administration office for the final signing of the contract.
After that he lunched with the executive and came back.
He directly reached academy and met the Dean.
Since he already mentioned in the contract so the fifty percent price would be sent to the MicroTech accounts.
“You made it,” Mu Ten was all smiling.
He wanted to guide Lui for which company he should chose but then he has to stop himself because of the rule he made.
He trusted that Lui would decide after taking all the possible points in to consideration and indeed, he proved right, by choosing Micron he showed that he was not only genius in study but deciding about the real life matters too.
“The fifty percent price would be sent to the MicroTech next month, I will keep the other fifty percent for I am thinking to bear the expenses on my shoulders from now on,” Lui spoke while trying hard to keep his emotions not hinder his speech.
“You should have kept it all, the academy would not mind,” Mu Ten patted the somewhat mature teen.
“It was a form of thanks, now I may leave to tell my friends,” he smiled and left the office.
Today was big day for him.
Toto was following him.
Finally he was able to complete a dream of the owner of the body.
To invent something beneficial for the abandoned district and to be able to bear the expenses of his study on his own.
This way two dreams were marked and it brought immense happiness for this Lui.
“Toto my friend, what do you think, how my buddies would react?” while almost running toward the department, he asked his security assistant.
“Master, I am not sure about the habits of your friends yet, once I meet them and observe for few times, I can predict their reaction only then,” Toto was truly honest when it comes to efficiency test.
