Miss Sales Manager - Volume 1 Chapter 3
‘Hi Tina, looking gorgeous..’ the boss winked… This was the most annoying thing he did always.. She endured it with a smile. She was just heading to her seat when she ran into Kristy. She was personal assistant to boss and tried to suppress everyone. There was gossip going around that she was more than an assistant to the boss. She always hated Tina. All the people bowed to her to reap benefits from boss but Tina never cared. When it came to work, her numbers spoke loud and clear. She was an asset to the company. She never sucked up to Kristy. However today, Kristy seemed different, she smiled at her in a good way, not the usual sarcastic smile Tina was habited to. She couldn’t help but respond with a warm smile. Post this encounter, Tina got a mug of double cappuccino, sat on her desk and got lost in the world of numbers. She typed on emails to the customers, took phone calls, got stock details, spoke to dealers, prepared her updated numbers in an excel sheet. It took three hours to complete all this. She was about to raise from her chair to take a loo break when Fredrick came in. Fredrick was a senior sales guy, three years senior to Tina. He was a charmer and flirted with Tina always. Kristy was always trying to get his attention, but he was oblivious to all except for this little lady (Tina) . But Tina never considered his advances. She smiled at him and continued to go towards the rest room. He was just about to call out for her, but the boss interrupted. ‘Freddie.. My cabin.. Now!’
Frederick hated when someone called him Freddie, but since it was boss who addressed him, he endured. Tina finished her job washed her hands and headed to cafeteria for lunch. Fredrick came over and asked ‘Can I sit here?’ Tina responded with a smile.. He rolled his eyes and said ‘you should talk more..’ she shrugged and continued eating her meal. He too shrugged in response and started eating his meal. Who knew that this day was going to be a very long day.
