Miss Sales Manager - Volume 1 Chapter 5
Tina was taken aback. She never thought that she was not a team player. She thought her sales achievement was enough. But no, it seems that she needs to be cordial to her bimbo Coulleagues.. How frustrating. It is not that Tina is unsociable. She was slightly uncomfortable in the presence of more people. In college she used to host events, give speeches, presentations. Those days would never come back. She was outspoken, carefree and awesome… very charming and talkative.. suddenly Tina longed for her earlier version of herself.. why did she turn out like this. The instant this thought came up, she looked at her boss and nodded, ‘I will join the team for Dinner.. what time is it.. let me know the place..’ Boss gave her a smile and said.. ‘Good.. I will make sure that one of our team members picks you up and drops you back home safely.’ Tina wanted to say that it’s not necessary, but boss waved her away saying that ‘It’s OK, Freddie will pick you.. he lives close by your home.. go get ready for the party.. dress up.. the dress code is red, wear whatever you want,’ and then he added ‘but one condition..’ Tina looked questioningly ‘you must look gorgeous..’ he winked.. she rolled her eyes and went out of his cabin.
Dressing up.. how long has it been that she dressed up. She preferred business formals at work. Always making sure that she gave off a powerful and reliable feeling to customers and Coulleagues. But again.. How boring. She felt that she was drifting away from the path of being normal.. She called a spa and booked a slot. Its been so long that she pampered herself. She left from work early and headed to the spa. She got groomed from tip to toe. Her jet black hair fell over her shoulders in loose curls. Her pearl like skin felt supple and clear. She was glowing and looking at herself she unknowingly let out a sigh.. The stylist said ‘you look so gorgeous’ Tina blushed beautifully.. Every one is in for a good surprise at the dinner party..
