Mob Protagonist ~ Mob in the Novel But There Is A Problem - Chapter 356.1
Extra chapter thanks to Bambam
“Miu-sama, it’s morning.”
Mii-chan was gently shaken awake. She had been sleeping soundly in her king-size bed in her room, but it seemed she was being woken up.
“Good morning, Ranko-san.”
In front of her, Ranko-san, dressed in a neatly fitted maid outfit, peered into the bed. Rubbing her eyes, Mii-chan tried to get out of bed obediently.
However, something was stopping Mii-chan.
“Trouble! The bunny and lion won’t let Mii-chan get out of bed!”
The bunny sniffed and clung, while the lion nibbled at my sleeve to stop her. So, I couldn’t get out!
Helplessly, I hugged a fluffy stuffed animal and burrowed back into the bed. Good night.
“That’s a dream. No, Miu-sama, you can’t. Even though it’s spring break, you need to maintain a proper daily routine.”
Relentlessly, Ranko-san tried to strip off the comforter, but I clung desperately. Ugh, still sleepy.
“Were you up late?”
“I went to bed early. I think I slept around 8 PM.”
It felt like I had a dream, but maybe it was just her imagination. Probably one of those dreams where I, as a child, was the protagonist and had a great adventure.
Even though it was a great adventure, being a dream, I didn’t remember much. The last thing I remembered was participating in a somersault competition.
“Breakfast is ready, so if you don’t wake up soon, you won’t be able to eat, master.”
The thick-skinned, blue-haired maid grabbed the edge of the comforter. She seemed to want me to finish eating quickly, as her breakfast would be served after the masters had finished.
“Yes!”
“Kyaa!”
Nimue forcefully stripped off the comforter, and Mii-chan almost rolled off the bed. Ranko-san quickly caught her, so only the stuffed animals fell to the floor.
The stuffed ant fell headfirst onto the floor and seemed to be holding its head in pain, but please bear with it and don’t move. It’s just a stuffed animal.
“Now, Miu-sama. Let’s change your clothes.”
“Yes.”
I obediently cheered, and other maids gathered around, pushing many clothes at me.
“Would this dress be suitable for Her Majesty the Queen?”
“Since it’s for everyday use, how about this one?”
“This one seems perfect for spring.”
“How about using it as a breakfast dress and changing again after the meal?”
With approving nods and smiles, the maids turned Mii-chan into a happily changing dress-up doll.
Looking out the window while enjoying the warmth of the sunlight, I continued to be a dressing-up doll. Birds perched on the branches, chirping happily.
Listening to the pleasant song of the little birds, I finished changing while half-asleep. For some reason, I felt like there were a lot more maids.
Nimue opened the door, and she stepped out of the room. Since the royal castle was still under construction, I still lived in the Count’s mansion in the imperial capital.
The royal castle is being constructed without sparing any expense, so it is quite vast. It aims to become a vast palace that would burn for 30 days if one were to attempt to set it ablaze.
“Well then, let’s do our best today!”
[God Heal]
Once again, I cast recovery magic on the maids, especially on the children around 12 years old. For some reason, accompanied by their parents, small children would come over. It was probably some educational field trip.
“Mommy, I can feel mana! This warm power is mana!”
“I’m so relieved, truly relieved!”
“I can see the world of mana too! It’s like a whole new world has opened up!”
“Just for today, you get to wear the maid outfit!”
The maids rejoiced and held hands in happiness. Smiling at their joyful faces, I walked down the hallway.
It’s peaceful. Isn’t there a saying that goes “All is calm and well”?
“Good morning!”
“Good morning, Mii-chan.”
“Good morning. Did you sleep well?”
“Mii-nee, sit here, right here.”
“Mii-neetan, sit between us?”
Arriving at the family-exclusive tatami room, they greeted each other with cheerful smiles. Everyone was already gathered, and Mii-chan was the last to arrive. Of course, she sat between Sora and Mai.
“Kyaa! Mi-oneechan is sitting between us!”
Full of happiness from the morning, she effortlessly somersaulted and landed softly on the cushion. Mii-chan had become quite proficient in somersaulting.
“Kyaa, Mai is doing somersaults too!”
My younger sister in her imitative age giggled, putting both hands on the mat, and somersaulted with a lively cheer. A perfect 10 for artistic impression. She even showed a high-difficulty Ultra-C that shook the table.
“Hehe. A little mistake.”
“Kyaa! Mai is definitely going to be an Olympic athlete in the future! You’ll win the Orichalcum medal in rhythmic gymnastics!”
Hugging the embarrassed Mai tightly, I praised her. Mai’s soft cheeks were delightful to touch.
