Mobile Diary Of Most Boring Classmate - Chapter 2 Chapter 1
A few hours later, Takeru was taking a small trip to the store to buy some noodles and sweets for the week. After she finished buying what she needed, she started to walk home on the way back. She left her phone at home and it was sitting on the charger. She didn’t have friends because she stopped trying to befriend people. People thought that she was weird and so, she didn’t want to suffer heartbreak from “friends” leaving her.
On her way from home, she was stopped by the nightly police officer, who asked her questions. “I’m sorry for bothering you. Did you see anything suspicious on your way to the store?” The woman asked Takeru. Takeru noticed that the officer was skittish. Why is a scared policewoman doing nightly patrol? Takeru thought to herself.
“No ma’am, I haven’t noticed anything when I was walking to the store. However, at 3:02 PM, I heard something that was grinding into flesh, however, I didn’t get to see what it was since I ran away,” Takeru tells the officer. The officer was panicky and Takeru found it cute. She’s not supposed to be a policewoman. Takeru thought with a small grin. “Putting that matter aside, why are you an officer, Officer Retsu?” She asked. Takeru knew she was walking on thin ice for talking to a police officer and addressing her by her first name.
“Um, I…,” she wasn’t able to respond with words. Instead, she whimpered. Takeru felt bad for scaring the poor woman.
“Sorry, don’t answer that. I was out of line,” Takeru tells the woman and she started to walk away. Takeru felt the winds start to change and she glanced back at Officer Retsu. She knew something was behind the woman, but she didn’t want to scare the woman even more than she done already had. “Officer Retsu, run!” She shouted. She didn’t want to scare the woman, but she had to when she saw that the figure behind the officer was going to attack her.
The shy officer obeyed Takeru and she ran in behind Takeru. Takeru put her arms up in a pathetic attempt to protect both herself and Officer Retsu. The figure revealed itself to be a man with a bloodied knife. Takeru paled up at the bloody knife. She was only fourteen! She didn’t want to die now! Fear encased Takeru and when she hears Officer Retsu’s screams for her to run, something snapped inside Takeru.
