Monster Integration - Chapter 4058: Prime Monster
Puch!
My sword entered his heart despite the resistance and my weakness.
I sent the burst of energy into his heart, which spread through his body in an instant, before moving toward the last cultist.
I didn’t leave him, like the cultist before him. No, he is too precious to be leaving him be.
To me, it won’t matter, if the others got killed by the monsters, but he needed to be alive. Despite being a spy and cultist, he was a member of Tor.
Punishing him, is our responsibility.
If the primes hadn’t been watching from above. I would have put him in my core.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that.
I have already revealed more than I had liked to and want to keep the secrets that are already secret.
Roar Roar!
I was moving toward the cultist when bear monsters roared and came at me.
I didn’t stop and kept moving.
The monsters reached me. One attacked me with its powerful frost claw, while the other attacked Yantis floating behind me.
Rip Rip!
I attacked a moment later, and a ripping sound rang out as I moved past the bears.
A moment later, the bears got split into two. Their upper half slid and fell on the ground while I moved toward the last cultist.
She was far away, but I was catching up quickly as I flew as fast as I could to catch her. This woman is the strongest of all. My seed didn’t send her meta-scan to me; I am just predicting it based on the speed she is moving.
She is flying 59% faster than the fastest cultist. It’s a difficult speed to achieve, without sufficient strength and a good method.
I am catching up with her fast. It won’t take more than a few minutes for me to reach her.
Cry!
I was moving toward her when another bird cry rang, and I saw a bluebird diving toward me.
A lance materialized over me and shot toward the bird. It wouldn’t have been enough to deal with the snow vulture earlier, but for it, it would be enough.
Puch!
The monster tried to dodge it, but it was too fast. It had pierced through its head.
A moment later, the monster began to fall while I moved toward the target.
Two and a half minutes passed, and I had killed six monsters when I finally reached the soul range of the last cultist.
The Silver-haired elf looked at me and a moment later. The blue-grey aura turned bloody as she burned her essence for the greater power.
As she did, her speed increased immensely, and I also pushed myself harder.
I have recovered some, that despite her burning her blood. I am gaining the distance on her, much slower than before, but that didn’t matter, because she will not get away.
It will only take slightly longer.
Hun!
A minute passed, and she was only a few miles away, which I would cross in a few seconds, when I felt the aura, that nearly froze me on my spot.
An aura of Prime. A monster Prime.
It didn’t take long for the monster to reach the range of soul waves and I saw the monster.
It is a massive red bird with wings on fire.
The smallest kindle of that fire would burn me to death, and it was coming at me to take the whole fire.
“Fuck!” I cursed as I felt its eyes on me, and its aura focused solely on my body. I felt like a mountain was on my back and taking every step became a challenge.
I didn’t stop despite that. I am no match for this bird, but before it could do anything to me; I want to finish off the cultist.
Still seeing it, I couldn’t help but curse my luck.
That limit monster had nearly killed me. This one might not even need to go through a struggle. A simple wave of fire would be enough to turn me into ashes in this frozen wasteland.
The prime is really good to tame a monster of such power. It’s hard.
Even the monster that had been trained since it was a baby could turn on its master after reaching the Prime as memories of its ancestor flood in its mind.
A trainer needs to be really good at training monsters as such, that it would not let those memories change them.
There was less than a mile of distance between me and the cultist. I could see the hope in her eyes and contempt toward me as the bird had reached me.
I prepared my defenses and every other thing. I had prepared for such a scenario.
I might die, but the birdy won’t come out in a single piece either and its months and years would also be quite painful.
I did not consider myself a vengeful, but whoever kills me will pay a massive price.
CRYYYY!
The bird let out a cry and dived toward me at amazing speed, while prepared myself for the defensive when something happened.
Puch!
A massive black earth spear materialized out of nowhere and pierced through the head of the
monster.
It killed it and, in such a way, that it left no chance of survival.
BANG!
A moment later, its massive body crashed on the ground hard. Shockwaves had nearly sent me crashing through the trees, but I stabilized myself, but the cultist hadn’t been that lucky.
“Bastard!”
A mournful roar rang out from the cultist Prime, and I felt a powerful suppressive aura fill the
sky and earth.
It is suppressive that the monster is despite being so high in the air.
He is really angry, and I would be too. If the monster I trained and spent so many resources on to get murdered in a single attack.
Still, I moved and reached the cultist, who was shaking under the aura as she tried to get out
of the mountain wall.
Puch!
She opened her mouth to say something, seeing me appearing in front of her, but before she
could, my sword entered her chest.
Freezing her.
