Monster Integration - Chapter 4080: Last Day
I opened my eyes and felt the heaviness, I hadn’t felt before.
I didn’t understand it and stayed in the bed thinking, but found nothing that would make me feel as such.
So, I got up and freshened up before walking into the living room.
I was planning to cook the breakfast but didn’t feel like doing it. So, I asked my clone while I sat down at my spot and looked at the view.
Seeing it, heaviness deepened, and the feeling became what I had been feeling a few days before I left my world.
‘But I am returning,’ I thought. I am not leaving Tor permanently.
I will return in three months after I leave tomorrow for Knavan.
The time passed too quickly. It felt like yesterday that I had been given the order to go into that realm and I am just a day away from leaving for it.
Tomorrow, I will be leaving with the rest of the party for the Alkan Svar.
They have only one entrance on the entire continent and the people from every Prime organization would be there. Along with people from many Sky Sovereign organizations and independent practitioners.
Soon, I finish breakfast, and it is when I practice the method, but I don’t want to.
I should as this might be the day. I break the limit.
I shook my head as I thought about that.
Click!
A minute later, I walked out of my suite. I have no destination in mind, with all my prior engagements being dealt with.
I had informed everyone that I would be out for half a year.
I walked around aimlessly, visiting my favorite places in the organization, before I released
it.
It was a late afternoon.
I had left my suite in the morning, but now it’s late afternoon. The time passed as such, that I felt like only a few minutes had passed.
Seeing that, I turned, and it was evening when I had reached my place.
I wanted to stay out, but I have invited friends over and need to make the preparations.
I freshened up before walking into my kitchen. I didn’t begin immediately and entered my core, appearing in front of the barrel.
I didn’t want to enter here, but seeing it as my first destination in the past month, I appeared here unconsciously.
Since I was here, I looked at the barrel and data flashing around it.
The barrel is still absorbing the energy from those precious prime crystals. There is a massive change had occurred inside and it was still ongoing.
I had just changed the crystal a few days ago. Bought the bigger size.
It may have been a little more than a month outside, but here it had been over half a year and the barrel had nearly consumed the crystals I had brought.
These big ones cost me a fortune, but they will last till I return to the organization.
Still, I hope, the nectar will be ready before that.
A minute later, I returned to the repository and chose the things.
I want to make something good, and I am going to hold back. I am even going to use the stainless lotus, which seemed excessive.
I don’t do such things, but I feel like doing it.
So, I took it out, along with other resources at a similar level.
Soon, I finished with the choosing and got out of the core, before beginning cooking.
Ting!
Soon, it was eight, and I was still cooking, but the guests had arrived, and I opened the door.
I wanted to open it myself, but I was in a very delicate stage of the dish.
“Wow, something is smelling really good,” said Manya as she came. Kala and Joriv were also with her and all of them came toward the counter.
Ehys isn’t here this time. Manya and he broke up. So, I didn’t invite him.
I liked him, but Manya is my friend.
“My tummy had started to tingle,” said Kala, and I smiled before sliding hors d’oeuvre toward them.
“This a good,” said Joriv with his eyes closed.
“You know, I am waiting for your invitation.”
“The food you cook is simply amazing and your skills seem to improve every time. This time,
it is the next level. I felt like, you had reached Grade VII,” he said to Kala, before suddenly stopping with wide his.
Not only him, but the others also stopped mid-eating and turned to in shock.
“Have you?” asked Manya. I smiled and focused on the dishes.
They didn’t ask further and focused back on the food.
They are Sky Sovereigns; they could eat as much as monsters. However, with the level of ingredients I am using. They could only eat as much as a normal person.
So, I kept the hors d’oeuvre limited.
It took forty more minutes for me to finish, and I set the table before we all sat down.
“I was hoping for the nectar this time,” said Kala as I took out the bottle of mead. It’s the same liquor, but without a nectar transformation.
“I wish,” I replied and filled their glasses.
Clink.
“Cheers,” we said as clinked the glasses and took a sip, before taking a bite, which made them
close their eyes.
“You might not say anything about it, but you definitely had reached the Grade VI at
culinary,” said Joriv.
“I am honored, by your praise,” I replied with a smile.
The food is really good. I didn’t hold back anything. It is not only tasty, but it will also provide
them with some benefits.
The dinner lasted for an hour before it was over, and we all sat down in the living room talking, till it was their time to leave.
“Thank you for the amazing dinner, Micheal. I can’t wait for the next time,” she thanked.
“You are welcome anytime,” I replied. To that, she smiled and walked out of the door.
Click!
The door closed, and the loneliness hit me. It took me a while to get control over myself and I
walked toward the bedroom and laid down.
But the sleep eluded me.
