Mr. CEO Secretly Reads BL! - Chapter 26: Crushing on Senior Feng! (1)
Jinxing recalled the beautiful high school life he had when he was young. Jinxing was just a shy kid since he was homeschooled until he graduated from junior high by taking a test together with other junior high students.
However, since he was a smart kid since he was young, he accelerated one year earlier than his peers. He entered high school at the age of fourteen. Since he begged his parents to study in public school, he finally entered a private senior high school dedicated solely to rich kids with their astronomical amount of yearly tuition.
But for Jiang Mother and Father, the money was nothing compared to their son’s safety. Since Jinxing was a timid and reserved kid, he didn’t know how to make friends. Jinxing wanted to experience the regular life of a student instead of a caged canary.
But on the first day of student orientation, he was very late. He arrived at the school two hours late, simply because his parents didn’t want him to get bullied, so they needed to call ten private bodyguards with three cars following his bulletproof car.
‘Will I be late? I don’t know if it’s okay to be late. The teachers in my house usually waited until I’m in the mood to study first…’ teenage Jinxing pondered.
With the loud sound of four cars entering the schoolyard, all new students automatically looked at the scrawny young master that came out of that black car, awkwardly standing and froze as he found out that he was very late.
“Boo! Boo! So late!” every new student started booing at Jinxing, who was very late for the student orientation.
Bodyguards started shielding the small young master, but it only made Jinxing even more scared, his leg was trembling, and he almost cried on the spot.
The headmaster was an old man, but he knew well this scrawny boy was Jiang Jinxing of Jiang Family. He was an important donator for the school, “Silence, new students!”
Everybody was silenced, the headmaster wanted to just let this slip, but it would give him a bad rep of someone who prioritized the richest over the other. Thus he said, “New student since you are very late, I should give you a punishment. Feng Xiaojun, go accompany him and find a proper punishment.”
The headmaster appointed the dreamy student council president Feng Xiaojun to accompany Jinxing. Feng Xiaojun was a senior that was famed for his brain and handsome looks. He was so handsome that he got scouted by many modelling agencies, though he refused them all.
Xiaojun walked towards the scrawny boy and said, “Come with me.”
Jinxing looked up to the tall student council president. He had brooding eyes and a face that should be plastered on every magazine. Jinxing felt embarrassed for staring at this guy for too long.
“All of you, leave now, tell my parents that I am alright now,” Jinxing said to his bodyguards.
“But young master—”
“Leave now, or I will deduct your salaries.”

Jinxing followed Xiaojun, who led him to the back of the school. Jinxing stared at Xiaojun’s wide ocean shoulder from behind, and he felt a bit weird in his heart. Because truthfully, he loved this aesthetic, such a fine senior!
Jinxing still didn’t understand sexual orientation and such because he was a caged canary, but if he wanted to spend his life with someone, then it must be with this type of senior!
Xiaojun led Jinxing to the back of the school. He sat on a bench under the lush tree. He took something out of his pocket, a book with a blank cover, supposedly hiding the title of the book. Xiaojun sat under the tree and started reading.
Jinxing stood stupidly. After a while, he took a deep breath and braced himself to ask Xiaojun, “S—Senior… what is my punishment?”
“Punishment?” Xiaojun frowned, “Well, honestly, I just want to take a breather. You know, I have been preparing for the student orientation for the whole day, and I still have to stand, listening to the headmaster as well.”
Xiaojun had a thin smile on his face and patted the spot beside him, “Let’s just pretend that I’ve punished you, come and sit down.”
Jinxing was pleasantly surprised with such kindness. Senior Feng Xiaojun looked cold and domineering outside, but he was actually a gentle senior.
Jinxing hesitatingly sat beside Xiaojun, feeling the gentle breeze of early summer wind.
They were sitting together under the tree until Jinxing asked, “Um… Senior, what kind of book you are reading? It has no cover?”
“Ah! Oh… hm… it’s just an ordinary philosophy book for self-development,” Xiaojun said, “I like to read a quality book, the one that would develop your thinking process.”
“Wow!” Jinxing got excited immediately, “I also read some philosophy book when I was in elementary school! Senior Feng, have you ever read Placher? Thomas Kuhn? Or you are more into ancient philosophy like Aristoteles and Plato?”
Xiaojun gulped. He was silenced for a while. As he glanced at Jinxing’s sparkly eyes, he rubbed Jinxing head instead, “Ah, I like them all. I just read this book in the meantime,” Xiaojun said while dodging Jinxing’s eyes.
“Whoaaa… Senior Feng is so amazing! I can’t believe that you’ve all those books! I thought I’m the only one that has finished all of them!” Jinxing praised as if he just saw his idol.
Xiaojun felt weirdly intimidated and closed his book, “Y—Yes, it’s really good for your mind…”
Jinxing kept staring at Xiaojun like a fan staring at his idol, which made Xiaojun a tad uncomfortable. To make it less awkward, he asked, “What is your name?”
“I’m—” Jinxing wanted to say that his name was Jiang Jinxing. But he was afraid that Senior Feng would not be genuine to him if he knew his real name. Thus he said, “My name is Huang Xiang! Please call me Xiang, Senior Feng!”
“Huh, nice to meet you… Xiang.”
