Qin Siting was dressed in a set of a black suit which made him appear to be in high spirits. His eagle like eyes were particularly sharp and intimidating.

“It’s been five days now and you still have the strength to talk after what you did to me!” despite his sinister laughter, he was quite surprised as he sized her up.

If it had been other ladies who were tied in this horrible place and beaten up for five days in this situation, their faces would surely pale from fright and would be crying.

However, besides calmness and wariness, not a hint of fear was found on her face.

Of course, five days had passed since Xiao li had stabbed Qin Siting with the broken pieces of the bowl. If it had not been that Qin Siting stopped Xiao li, the stab wound would have been very deep and he wouldn’t have survived it.

“Aren’t you afraid of me?” he could not resist asking her this, deeply aware that his majestic presence was greatly discounted in front of her.

Xiao li laughed, “You are not a ghost, right? What’s there to be afraid of? Even if you are one, I’m not scared at all”

“You are really one of a kind” Qin Siting laughed in a low voice.

The corner of her lips lifted grimly, “You look like a big shot yourself. You are the one who had me abducted here, right? When will you get tired of me and just kill me, huh?”

“Not yet! It’s just that you have some use to me” with a raised brow, he said.

Xiao li sneered. From the words he just said, his intentions were clear. He want to use her to bring Jingyi Wang to him. Then kill her.

What a brilliant idea!

Xiao li thought to herself.

“You did not know the truth behind what happened to your family, yet you took action against us. So naive!” she spoke in a cold voice, her eyes shooting daggers at the man standing in front of her.

Upon hearing her words, Qin Siting burst into a thunderous laughter. “You call me naive… hahaha”

Xiao li didn’t say a word and lifted the corner of her lips into a cold smirk.

From one side, some one came over with a camera. A burst of white light flashed before her as the person took several photos of her disheveled appearance.

The person who was taking the photos gave a gesture that he was done. Qin Siting nodded at him and turned to leave the warehouse.

At a villa.

As Jingyi Wang walked into the study room, his body emitted a terrifying and gloomy aura. Inside the room, An Jun had been waiting respectfully for a long time. He was nervous and frantic.

Jingyi Wang threw his jacket on the couch. Glancing at An Jun, he furrowed his brow, “What’s that in your hands?”

The moment he entered the room, his sharply noticed the envelope An Jun was holding. Thus, his suspicion were raised.

An Jun hurriedly passed the envelope to him and said in a panic stricken manner, “Young master, please have a look at this first!”

Jingyi Wang took it from his hands, opening the envelope, a few photographs fell out. He picked up the pictures and skimmed through them. In a split moment, his eyes dimmed and his brows furrowed deeply.

In the pictures, a woman was hanging suspended in the air by the shackles binding her wrists. The blood on her wrists due to how tight the shackles were constricting them stood out like a sore eyes.

The pictures background was a dark warehouse. With the flash from the camera, one could see the amount of dust floating in the air.

Xiao li’s face was stained with blood. He could see that she was gritting her teeth stubbornly. Based on the blood in her body, he could visualize the difficult situation she was under, yet he could not imagine what kind of things she had been through, or perhaps, he dare not imagine.

He took in a deep breath of cold air.

Clutching the photographs viciously and tightly, a dark fog glazed over his eyes.

When his gaze fell on the pictures again, he registered the blood on the woman’s skirt and his glare became filled with intense wrath.

“Who sent these photos?”

He raised his head and asked, trapping his cold gaze on An Jun. Even the bodyguards who had always been by his side and was used to his intimidating aura could not help being startled by his glare.

“Young master, the envelope was sent by an express delivery employee” An Jun hesitated for a moment before continuing. “We have already captured him, but by the looks of it, we won’t be able to get any information out of him”

“Apart from this envelope, is there anything else?”

“No, we only received this envelope and the photos in it”

An Jun’s face stiffened. Looking at his superior’s icy expression, he said in a low voice at once, “Boss, you must calm down! Just from a glance at this, this is clearly not a normal kidnapping situation!”

The man turned out to be more composed than he had thought.

Jingyi Wang sat in front of his office desk and flung the photos onto the table. His eyebrows furrowed deeply as he said, “I know”

An Jun was stunned, only to hear him continue slowly, “That person is targeting me”

“Young master, what do you mean? I don’t really understand”

Jingyi Wang’s brows twitched before he responded, “What he wants is something that I have; my life”

As he said this, he leaned back into the chair, his long slender fingers slowly drumming on the table.

“Does that mean he is after your life, not Miss Xiao’s?”

“I’m not sure; I think he is after revenge”

An Jun was stunned.

Revenge? From what he found out, Jingyi Wang had not met Qin Siting before or had an encounter with them, so it was impossible for Jingyi Wang to offend Qin Siting in any way before.

His eyes widened in surprise as he looked at Jingyi Wang. “Young master, could it be that someone from your family offended him and he is getting revenge on you?”
