Mr. Fang’s Feisty Mistress - Chapter 277 Malicious Intent
Zhang Xiaoling was all out to spread lies just to vent her anger and frustration on Zhang Liling.
She didn’t even care anymore if she was also putting Mr. Fang’s reputation on the line. She believed that he should suffer for a bit for choosing her stepsister.
Zhang Xiaoling’s friend wasn’t ready to believe such an explanation because she found it weird.
“Are you sure of what you’re saying? Fang Bingwen doesn’t look like someone who would get himself a mistress.”
“Hahaha…” Zhang Xiaoling forced a laugh out of her thin lips as she threw her head back.
She was acting like the matter was not a big deal which in turn, filled the mind of the other woman with doubt.
‘With Xiaoling acting this way, maybe it’s true.’
Zhang Xiaoling, aware of the possible thoughts going on in her friend’s mind, chuckled a bit more before leaning her back away from the backrest of the chair.
“Even Fang Bingwen is a human. The man hasn’t been seen with a woman for long hence, he is doing this to stop any uprising news that would threaten his reputation like in the past.”
Breathing in sharply, she continued, “Truly, this is not usually his move, but I’m feeling you that Zhang Liling has been his mistress since the last year, and maybe he chose to go public with it. Look, even his family do not mind.”
Zhang Xiaoling changed her tongue a bit just in case Mr. Fang tried to debunk the upcoming rumours and announced that Zhang Liling was actually his girlfriend.
Her intentions were to fill everyone’s head that Zhang Liling was his mistress for a year before he decided to make her his girlfriend.
That way, Zhang Liling’s reputation would be ruined and difficult to salvage.

As soon as Tungmei saw the news on the internet, she was shocked.
The poor young lady almost had a heart attack as she stared at the pictures and the comments in disbelief.
Unable to believe the news at first, she had to stare hard at the pictures for a few more minutes to confirm their authenticity before deciding to put up a call to her best friend.
She figured it would be easier and faster for Zhang Liling to debunk the news before a public statement was given by Mr. Fang.
Zhang Liling was munching on her bowl of cereals while reading the comments on the internet concerning her and Fang Bingwen when Tungmei’s call came in.
Instantly, she choked on her food as her lungs began to release a series of coughs.
Dropping her spoon into the bowl of series, she put her phone down as she immediately reached for the glass of water in front of her and brought the rim to her lips
That call from her best friend reminded her of something very important.
She had forgotten to inform her of the relationship between her and Mr. Fang.
She had also been enjoying the comments coming off from the netizens that she had forgotten that Tungmei would see them as well.
Now seeing her call, she knew her ears were going to hurt, including her poor brain.
‘I am finished. She won’t let me off.’ Zhang Liling concluded to herself as she put the glass of water down after drinking till half of its content.
Zhang Liling felt her heart pounding heavily in her chest as she almost found it difficult to breathe properly or maybe she had actually forgotten to do that.
Watching the call cut as her eyes glistened with tears due to the choking that happened earlier, she tried to calm her nerves.
Zhang Liling had to wait for Tungmei to call her back again as she refused to be the one to return the call.
While waiting nervously, her phone began to ring again before she finally picked it up from the dining table.
Releasing a deep breath, she answered the call and placed the phone a few centimetres away from her ear just in case she was going to scream into her ears.
“Zhang Liling! You finally know to answer my calls?.”
“Godmother, please calm down!” Zhang Liling hurriedly said.
“Who is your godmother??” Tungmei was not going to give her a chance to soften her heart and immediately fired back.
“You are the one, of course, there is no other like you,”
Admitting to the new role assigned to her out of someone’s guilty conscience, Tungmei asked sharply, “Fine! Now explain to this godmother the rumours that have spread to all the corners of the earth. Are they true?”
‘How to reply?’ Zhang Liling nervously bit her lips as her fingers tapped continuously on the table.
She was contemplating how to break the news and save her life at the same time.
“Are you not going to say anything??? Won’t you tell me which one is the truth?” Tungmei urged as she slammed her palm on her study desk, instantly startling her roommate.
Tungmei had been the one to make sure the house rules carried on, but currently, she didn’t care. The rules between her and her roommate could rest in hell for the next half an hour.
Zhang Liling breathed in sharply and was forced to spill the truth even though Tungmei could already guess the truth given how it was difficult for her to respond.
“Godmother, you have to forgive this brat. Although I had no plans of revealing this secret to you at the time we met at the cafe, I also didn’t plan for you to find out about the truth through this way.”
“In actuality, what are you saying?” Tungmei interjected as her brows creased.
Three streaks of longitudinal lines had already appeared on her young forehead.
Her head was almost about to separate from her neck with her leaning forward.
“The news is true. Mr. Fang is my boyfriend.” Zhang Liling admitted as her voice went soft the longer her words progressed.
She was sure that her life was hanging on a double-edged sword as she nervously waited for Tungmei’s response.
