Mr. Fang’s Feisty Mistress - Chapter 294 Accidentally Kill Him
Time seemed to stop as both Zhang Liling and Mr. Fang stared at the same spot until one of them had to react.
“Mr. Fang!” Zhang Liling shrieked as her hands immediately grabbed her shirt and pulled it toward her chest.
Instantly, Fang Bingwen’s eyes shifted to her face as he hurriedly offered an apology. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to pull a little too hard.”
He indeed didn’t mean to get her naked. He had only wanted to pull her to him so he could return the gesture of her tainting his white shirt with red wine.
He had overlooked of the possibility of her trying to pull away at the same he caught her shirt in his hand.
Glaring at him, Zhang Liling rose to her feet as she tried very hard not to show off her skin to him even by mistake.
Feeling her hard stare, he thought, ‘I guess she still has a sense of dignity.’
Fang Bingwen couldn’t be blamed for thinking that way since she was known to wanting to have skin ship, but seeing her trying to hide her body from him, he sent her accolades in her head.
This means that she was not as wild as she normally acted.
He wouldn’t rule it out of the question if was even playing with him for a bit.
Well, he would never know since he didn’t want to experiment he may be unable to control, just to find out the level of her wildness.
“You really are a big bully!” she said before hurrying away.
“Wait!” Fang Bingwen called after her, but she didn’t try to stop in her steps, hence he had no choice but to follow her.
He was afraid that she might collide into someone while running away like that.
The only time he got to sigh in relief was when she walked into her room and slammed the door shut before he could even think of saying anything.
Puffing out a sigh as he stood in front of the tightly shut door with his hands on his waist, his lashes fluttered close.
Two seconds later, he turned around and left to go upstairs.
Just like her, he also had to change his wine-stained outfit.
At night, Zhang Liling and Mr. Fang met again to have their dinner at the dining room.
Thankfully, none bore any grudge towards the other.
While eating, Zhang Liling spaced out a good number of times until Mr. Fang couldn’t take any longer.
“What is bothering you?” he asked while peering at her as he slowly put down his cutlery, ready to give her a listening ear.
Stabbing her food with her fork, she tilted her gaze to her right to meet his gaze.
“I am unable to accept the fact that Zhang Mingyu is not my half-brother.”
This news was still hard for Zhang Liling to digest.
Although she had come to forcefully understand the lengths at which her stepmother would go to get what she wanted, she still doing it a little hard to swallow.
“Would you rather accept him to be related to you by blood?” Fang Bingwen retorted.
He didn’t see it as a big deal because he didn’t have high hopes for someone like Shi Wenqian who was cunning and evil.
Also, he wouldn’t be surprised if she found her way into the Zhang Family in order to seduce Zhang Renshu.
Anything was possible for her kind of person.
If Zhang Mingyu was truly her half-brother, she may even have to put more effort into getting into Zhang Corp as Zhang Renshu would still be selfish about not wanting to lose out on his only son.
So, it could be a blessing in disguise that she wouldn’t have any problem easily taking the reins from her father by the time she presented him with an evidence that could send him straight into coma.
“Left for me, I wouldn’t want to be a member of the Zhang family. That family needs to be purged,” she said in disgust.
Not even her father was good.
“The earlier you accept this fact, the faster we can do something about the situation,” he advised while staring at her intently.
Sending a poon of tomato soup into her mouth, she suddenly asked as she let her tongue relish the taste whole rolling about in her mouth to bring forth words.
“Mr. Fang, you said that Zhang Mingyu has a bleeding disorder,” she started as a glint flashed past her eyes.
“Mmmm… What about it?” he inquired as his eyes squinted at her.
‘Why is she suddenly excited?’
“That means he can literally bleed to death with just a small cut,” she stated as her moved her cutlery about.
She looked happy to have discovered an important fact, and Fang Bingwen could see it in her eyes.
“Do you want to try it out?” He asked as his gaze shifted to the knife she was moving about.
Pushing her hand till the silver tool dropped back to her plate, his gaze went back to her face.
“Why not? I would definitely love to give this experiment a try while at it,” she replied with a smug look on her face.
More than ever, Zhang Liling wanted to see the panic that would flash past Shi Wenqian’s eyes on seeing her precious son bleeding nonstop.
She was very sure that she would lose her composure and act in a deperate manner to save her son.
As for her father, she could already picture his eyes widening in their sockets on seeing his fake son bleeding to death.
Seeing the excitement in her eyes, Mr. Fang hurriedly cautioned her.
“I don’t think you should go to that extreme. One, you can accidentally kill him. Two, your stepmother would begin to suspect that you know something. You don’t want to arouse her suspicion.”
Zhang Liling shrugged as she moved her gaze back to her food. She didn’t seem to care or she was overly being confident.
“I can be a good actress when the time calls for it,” she smirked and then continued, “I wouldn’t mind if my father’s suspicion is raised, but I doubt that Shi Wenqian will have a hard time explaining Zhang Mingyu’s condition to him.”
