Mr. Fang’s Feisty Mistress - Chapter 345 Force Break Up
Being reminded of the things she brought for him, Zhang Liling left her seat to go to the table, to rustle with the big branded nylons.
After a few moments, the shuffling died down as she returned to his desk holding a few things in her hands.
“I got some takeout for you,” She said, putting down the plastic plates of food in her hands before setting down the pair of disposable chopsticks before him.
“I guessed that you would be very busy to ha e food during lunch, so I took it upon myself not to let you starve.”
A smile spread across Mr. Fang’s face Ashe watched her serve him the food she bought from a restaurant.
Lastly, she set a table of bottle water in front of him before taking her seat and urging him to eat.
Without wasting time, he picked up his pair of chopstick and started to eat.
“How did the meeting with your father go?”
He still remembered that she was scheduled to see her father at the Zhang Corp today and wanted to know if all went well.
But judging from how she stepped into his office with a grand smile on her face without first complaining, he guessed that all must have gone well with her father.
“It was okay…” She started and went on to reveal the conversation she had with her father.
“… He was surprised to find out that I know about him having a mistress outside.”
Swallowing the piece of minced vegetable in his mouth, Fang Bingwen commented as he reached out with his chopstick to pick up a piece of braised pork.
“I didn’t think he would be surprised.”
”,
“I knew he would be, but how could he be surprised? Did he think that I would forget that he cheated on my mother? I’m not that dumb to not know that he would never stop especially after ending up with a woman like Shi Wenqian.”
Taking a breather, she continued, “Knowing the circumstances surrounding their union, he would surely not having any affection for her.”
“You are right. After all, she was first his housekeeper before breaking up his marriage with his fiancée,” Fang Bingwen said with a meaningful gaze directed at her.
His words plus his gaze seemed to be suggesting something to her.
Feeling his weird gaze while mentioning that topic, Zhang Liling’s eyes widened in their sockets as her lips protruded in a pout.
“Why are you staring at me like that?” She questioned.
“Mfffmfff…” Fang Bingwen waved his hand in front of her as a suggestive smile graced his lips. “Nothing.”
“I don’t believe that. You are clearly laughing at me yet you deny it.”
She refused to believe that he was laughing in passing. Surely that wicked smile must have meant something she didn’t even want to think about.
Refusing to say anything, he continued to eat as if he did nothing wrong. But a few moments later, he shifted his gaze back to her to say,
“I am wondering if your mother knows how you seduce…”
Before he could finish his words, she had already risen to her feet and stretched her hand to cover his lips.
“Bingwen!” She whined unhappily.
Why was he mentioning that?
From the look of things, this was what his suggestion meant. He was reminding her of how similar her situation was to that of her stepmother when she snatched her father from her mother.
‘ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ N(ov)elBin’,
“Pfffttt… Hahahaha…” Unable to control his emotions at seeing her so worked up, he broke into a fit of laughter, forcing her to withdraw her hand.
As Fang Bingwen laughed hard at her, he didn’t forget to watch every emotion that flashed across her face.
“What’s funny? If my mother hears this, she is going to pull my ear and force us to break up. My methods are more than enough to remind her how she was betrayed.”
Saying that, Zhang Liling slumped on the chair with an annoyed look. She was offended at him making fun of her.
She could already guess what her mother’s actions would be if she found out about this. The woman would be so angry
Gradually, Fang Bingwen’s laughter died down. “I would never tell your mother about that. If she learns of this, then it would be your fault. Anyway, no matter what, I wouldn’t break up with you because of this.”
“You really do not know my mother. This housekeeping stuff ruined her. It almost broke her. See how her family abandoned her and how much she struggled to get a good job and raise me all alone as a single mother.”
Sighing deeply, she added, “It’s not my intention to remind her of her past and the pains she passed I just liked you too much back then, and had to resort to that petty means of chasing after you.”
Feeling her guilt and sadness because of her mother’s opinion and possible reaction to this, only a small smile remained on his face.
“Your means of chasing me was really petty, but it’s not bad. You can never bee compared to Shi Wenqian who clearly knew that her Boss was getting married and yet went ahead to sleep with him.”
He was letting her know that her situation was very different from Shi Wenqian.
He was single, he wasn’t dating anyone nor had interest in any woman at the time she started to make a move on him, so they were not the same.
Hearing his comforting words that defended her actions, Zhang Liling was encouraged.
“Thank you. I only hope that my mum will not be against our union when she learns of this.”
There was still a slight worry remaining in her for she would hate to fight or argue with her mother.
“If you are still worried, then don’t tell her anything. Only a few people know about this, let’s keep it between us then.” Fang Bingwen suggested before sending a spoon of rice dipped in a bowl of soup into his mouth.
