Mr. Handsome I Love You - Chapter 69:Ch 69
She couldn’t even imagine how Abigail felt at losing her older brother, considering that she adored and loved her so much. It was unfathomable.

For Owen, the next few days were spent on the phone wrapping up his father’s affairs. Then there came the reading of the will. His father left everything to him except for a stipend for Kylie so she could live comfortably.
It was surprising because he already had more money than he knew what to do with, but he’d make sure that it was handled properly. He had intentions of setting up charities in his father’s and Joseph’s names.
Then there came the phone call from his buddy in the Private Police Sect over whose prints were on the photograph. His next phone call was to Hudson, to fire Ruby with prejudice. She was lucky that’s all he had intentions of doing because he was too busy consumed with trying to get Abigail back.
He would make sure that she never worked in the industry again. The only job she’d be getting was at a fast-food joint. He had hung up the phone and leaned back in his chair when his sister walked in. “Hi, girl.”
He said forcing a smile. He certainly didn’t feel like smiling, but his sister needed his support. At least he had sixteen good years with his father.
When Alice was born she was pretty much handed over to him when he was done university. She never had the same opportunities of their father cheering on the sidelines for her at her dance recitals like he did at his football games.
She plopped down in the wing-backed chair on the other side of his desk and stared at him. “What?” “Where’s Abigail?” she said softly. He nodded, “you miss her huh?” “I do.” She admitted, “But you do to Owen.” “That’s true.”
He gave her a smile without emotion this time. It hurt to think about her, but he couldn’t set these other issues on the back burner. “Are you going to bring her home?” “I’m going to try.” She took a deep breath showing her relief.
“I know you miss her Alice, I do too, but I have other priorities that can’t be ignored. I know where she is and I have someone watching her make sure that she’s safe.”
Another breath of relief. “Do you feel better?” he raised his brows. Alice was always his number one priority and seeing her hurt, hurt him. He would do just about anything for her to keep her happy. Abigail made her happy. Abigail made him happy also. Very happy.
“I do.” She admitted. Owen never talked about his love life or business for that matter. But she knew he loved Abigail just from the way he talked about her and the way he looked at her. “so, when are you going to bring her home?” “As soon as I can commit a solid amount of time to do so. I need to convince her Alice.
As much as I want to toss that woman over my shoulder and hauled her home, she’s stubborn and it won’t go over well. Unfortunately, we were both betrayed and I need to do my best to get her to trust me again.”
This time she grinned, “Owen, you have women falling in love with you just from just looking at them. Go get my sister in law please.”
