Mr. Handsome I Love You - Chapter 72:Ch 72
She could tell if he meant what he said. She felt it through her. A sob burst from her and he instantly gathered her into his arms lowering his head on hers. “I’m so stupid!” she sobbed into his jacket.
“No baby, you trust too easily and your naïve. That’s not shameful. I would never have an affair, I told you before that after a night with you I can barely write my name. That trip to Italy was a legitimate business trip. If it wasn’t I would have taken you with me.
If you need further proof, I’ll have her call you. She has nothing to lose by telling you the truth. She’s with some big shipping heir now.” She released another sob. “cheetah, you need to understand that there are a lot of vindictive people out there and I can guarantee this won’t be the last time you receive something like this.”
She loosened her grip and looked up at him, “It just looked so real.” “It was far from it.” He moved his arm around her waist, “Let’s go home.”
“My stuff.” She said looking at the front doors of her building. “We’ll come back another day. I promise.” First, he was getting her to a physician. She didn’t look well, she looks a little thin around the face.

Owen had to sit down as the doctor pushed the lab results across the desk at him. He felt himself pale slightly, A baby? He’d phone his physician while he was in the car.
Abigail had tried to stop him but he ignored her. It was obvious to him now that she was ill. Now he knew why. He glanced at Abigail for her reaction. It was apparent that she already knew what was going on with her body by the guilty posturing she was emitting.
Abigail never said a word but kept her head bowed while staring down at her hands fidgeting on her lap. She tried protesting but he wouldn’t hear it. She’d never seen him so pushy where she was concerned. Usually, he persuaded, not insisted. However, he probably hadn’t seen her in a few weeks and she must’ve looked different from the way he reacted.
Part of her was relieved to hear that she was too thin but otherwise healthy. After all, she was living for two now. “Say that again.” He said giving his head a shake.
“Yes, Mr. Ross. According to your—” He paused looking at Abigail not knowing what to call her. He knew that his client wasn’t married but was famous for his women and he didn’t want to insult the future mother of his child. “Fiancé.”
Owen interjected with some displeasure after seeing the physician pause. “Pardon me.” He apologized, “I meant no insult.” He shifted uncomfortably and cleared his throat. “Of course you didn’t.”
