Mr. Handsome I Love You - Chapter 74:Ch 74
Yet, he felt selfish in wanting her despite how tired he was. That lasted a whole thirty seconds before he emitted a growl and strolled toward the stairs. “Fuck the twenty minutes.” He rushed up the stairs like his feet were on fire.

Abigail opened her eyes to stare at the illuminated green lights of the alarm clock. Four in the morning. Yet something didn’t feel right.
She was sprawled naked across Owen’s hard body and suddenly felt as though she was being stared at. She lifted her head and looked at him. His even steady breathing told her he was still sleeping and is eyes were closed.
Owen shot awake and reached for the lamp while Abigail was shaking him. “What the hell—” “There’s someone here!” she screeched. He flicked on the light and sat up looking around the room. It was empty. “Abigail?” “There was.” She said frantically pointing to the window, “I—oh god, I’m going crazy.”
He held her, “Hush babe, you’re just overtired and it didn’t help that I kept you up for several more hours.” He didn’t like these recurring nightmares she was still having and knew it had something to do with Joseph’s death. “Did you have these often when you left me?” “Sometimes.” She muffled into his neck. “But it seemed so real this time.”
“Maybe we should look at getting you to help Abigail.” She pulled back and looked at him, “You think I’m nuts.” “Not.” He said firmly, “I believe you suffered trauma with your brother dying, the pregnancy and the enormous amount of stress you’ve been dealing with lately.
Anyone would have repercussions because of that.” She took a deep breath and he reached up and wiped the tears from her eyes. “Do you think so?” “Listen.” He said softly, “When you left me, I didn’t sleep for weeks and that’s only one issue I had to deal with.
I can’t imagine how you’re coping.” “I was so stupid.” She said guiltily. “I should have waited and talked to you.” He kissed her, “No you’re not. Did you want a glass of water?” She chuckled, “If I keep dehydrating myself by crying all the time, I’ll need it.”
“I love your vulnerability. It makes me feel needed. I’ll be right back. I’m just going to go and get you a glass of water.” Needed? Every woman needed a man like this or dreamt that they existed.
After a moment she finally nodded. She started feeling silly. These stupid nightmares had her all worked up. “I’ll leave the light on.” “Okay.” She started to breathe normally now feeling a little safer. Owen got up and threw on his robe. Then he went around the bed and gave her an adoring kiss on the cheek before he left the room.
Once downstairs, he seriously thought about using those sleeping pills the doctor prescribed, but somehow drugging his wife seemed a little callous. He went into the kitchen and retrieved a glass to fill it with water.
“My sister Owen?” The glass fell from his hand and hit the sink with a loud clamor. He’d know Joseph’s voice anywhere. Slowly he turned around to see a tall angry man in his kitchen. It took a lot to surprise Owen, but this took the cake. He’d buried this man barely two months ago.
Yet here he was standing in his kitchen like he never left. There were some changes to him which made Owen know that he wasn’t seeing things. There were a few scars on his face that were faded to a darker pink than the surrounding skin letting him know that he’d sustained injuries.
