Mr. President Do You Mind If I Fall In Love With You? - Chapter 9
“At least you hadn’t slept with him.” Hero was quite pleased with the fact that he was her first, and she had never been touched by another man.
Luna gaped at him. How could he say something like that? He made her blood boil in anger. How dare he make fun of her?
“Yes, yes. Compared to Jasper, you are too arrogant, mister,” she huffed. What’s with this man? He really knew how to push the wrong buŧŧons to irritate her.
“Oh, that isn’t the first time someone called me that, darling.” Hero grinned. “But I will deeply appreciate it if you scream my name while I’m inside of you.”
“That’s a mistake! It will never happen again!” Luna growled. She was really pissed off right now with this man. Couldn’t he just leave her be? He’d already taken what he wanted from her.
“Now, now. We both know that isn’t true.” Hero saw through her. She couldn’t lie to him. He knew that there was an attraction between them. Her body was betraying her.
But Luna rolled her eyes. She refused to become someone’s toy. A man like him would surely bring her to her own demise. Look what happened to her mother: seduced and left with a child of a married man. Her own father. Her own kin abandoned her and her mother like trash that he didn’t have any use for anymore.
“There are other willing women out there, mister. Unfortunately, I am not one of them,” she retorted. Hero only hummed in response. He wasn’t really expecting her to submit herself too soon.
In the past, she might have fallen for his charm. She knew what could be the outcome if she let this man affect her and welcome him into her life. She wasn’t after his money. Luna would never stoop at that level.
Clearly, she was sure that he came from a prominent family within this city if he was capable of making Jasper and Aiko leave earlier. But a rich man buying a woman something—throwing a woman expensive gifts—didn’t mean anything. A man, who was giving a woman time and effort, meant everything.
“I should leave.” It was her final decision. She should go before she makes another mistake she will regret. She would get burned by him if she stayed, and Luna didn’t trust herself at that moment. He was too much everything compared to another man. It wasn’t helping that she was starting to doubt if she really did love her own boyfriend.
Hero hadn’t taken his eyes away from her beautiful face as if trying to read her thoughts. Looking right back at him, Luna felt that her thoughts were being distracted by his mere presence.
Luna froze when she realized what had crossed in her mind. Did she just have indecent thoughts to be with him again? She breathed, blinked her eyes to clear her sight, and pushed him away from her. She quickly ran towards the door, stepped out of the room, and out of her outrageous thoughts.
“Wait,” Hero walked after her, not caring if someone would see them at this state. “Let me know your name. Mine is—”
“Don’t.” Luna turned around to face him and held up her hand. “Don’t say it. Let’s just pretend that we didn’t meet, and nothing happened between us.”
She’d never met someone like him in her life. Truth to be told, she couldn’t deny that he was the most handsome man she had ever met. But then, Luna knew this man had the ability to intrigue her, to tempt her. She shouldn’t succumb to his advancements. She forced herself to step back and leave.
Hero didn’t stop her, but his eyes glimmered with amusement. She could run away from him right now, but she would eventually come back to him whether she liked it or not. She was his and very soon … soon … he would have her again.
