Akito went to visit Ai’a grave. He sets flowers down by her gravestone. “Ai. It’s me. What should I do?”
…
Akito went back to school and attend to a meeting for all seniors. One of his classmates calls him out and told him that teacher needs him.
Akito left and head to the storage room. He went inside and then BAAM! He got hit on the back of his head.
He was covered in gasoline. He slowly opens his eyes. His sight is still blurry. Someone was standing by the door and throws a lighter onto the gasoline. Its starting to spread.
He’s starting to doze off. The smoke reaches the sprinklers. The fire alarm went off. Every students and teachers exits the school. Jay and Liam notices that they haven’t seen Akito.
The fire slowly reaches to Akito. The door slams. Someone came rushing to his side. “Akito!!” (Huh? Who’s that? Who’s calling my name?) He slowly opens his eyes. (Huh? Ai….is that you?) “…Ai…..I miss you..”
S/He looks around and notices the fire is coming closer. “We have to get out of here.” S/He puts his arm around her/his shoulder and helps him escape the building.
As they reaches the exit, s/He puts Akito by the gate. S/He then leaves the scene. Jay and Liam looks around and sees Akito. “Akito!!”
Liam carries him on his back and heads to the hospital. Jay looks around and sees anything suspicious but nothing. He then follows Liam.
There’s someone in the back seat of the car. “Let’s go.” The driver nods. The car then left the scene.
An hour later, Akito opens his eyes and notices he’s in the hospital. He sits up and sees jay and Liam on the couch, sleeping.
He recalls of what happen. “I got hit back on my head and…” He remembers that he had seen Ai, who helps him escape.
Liam then slowly gets up and notice Akito is awake. “Akito, are you okay?” “What happen?” “There’s a fire in our school. We realizes you didn’t come back before it begins. We look everywhere for you.” “You saved me?”
Jay got up and said, “we found you leaning against the gate. What happen?” “I went to the storage room and got hit back on the head.”
Akito looks at his best friends. “I saw her. I saw Ai. She saved me. She saved me from the —” jay puts his hand on his shoulder.
“Let her go, Akito. She’s dead.” At the same time, someone was eavesdropping their conversation by the door. Soon that person has left.
A week later, Akito got discharged from the hospital and instead of going home, he went to Ai’s gravestone once again.
“Ai. Are you still alive? Or is t just my imagination of you saving me from that fire? I…I really miss you, Ai.” He fell on his knees.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you. I’m such a child. I’m sorry.” He silently cried.
At the same time, someone is watching Akito from afar. “Akito.”
