Multi-World Swordsman - Chapter 12
“That’s my client’s clan stamp on the boxes, well, I finally got my work done.”
Ibuki then went to a staircase and left the basement.
Arriving at the ground floor, Ibuki covered his nose while being careful not to step on the corpses of women and girls lying on the ground in their blood, while heading for the exit.
“It’s all your fault, why did you run away, because of you everyone is dead, it’s you who should have died, yes you.”
Ibuki saw the only young woman who had survived shouting in anger at the young boy who had a pale face and a small snake around his neck while she was crying.
Hearing the words of the young woman, the pommeler didn’t get angry or cry, only his gaze had changed, his eyes became more calm, while giving off a coldness worthy of a predator, it only lasted a moment but Ibuki noticed it, Shinjuro who had finished inspecting the building and came to them also noticed it.
“The kid’s got potential.” Thought Shinjuro while looking at Obanai one second before his eyes fell on Ibuki.
“What are you gonna do now?”
“My task is finished, I’ll go and get my payment back, then look for another employer.”Ibuki said in a calm voice as he turned around and began to walk north.
“I hope I never see your bastards ugly face” Shinjuro screams in anger as James leaves.
“How to get such strength with my weak body.” He thought looking at the small ditch under Shinjuro’s feet.
. . . . . .
Tokyo, Satsuk Clan Castle, Guest Lounge
“Thank you for your work Matsushime-San, my lord is happy to finally get his goods back, here’s your payment.”
Says a middle-aged man wearing glasses and a red uukata, while handing Ibuki a large filled envelope.
Ibuki, without saying a word, took the envelope, put it back in his clothes, and then slowly got up and walked towards the door.
“Wait, Matsushime-San, there’s something my lord has asked me to give you.”
Then Iuki turned around and watched as the middle-aged man took a second envelope out of his yukata before stepping forward and handing it to him.
“My lord told me to tell you it’s from an important person who wanted to meet you and in my lord’s words, that person can afford to pay for your services so don’t worry about payment.”
Walking through the lively streets of the capital, he hid his katana in his clothes while looking at the different restaurants along the streets before choosing one.
He commented and then sat down at a table before opening the envelope and reading the contents, he quickly finished reading the letter inside, and after a second reading he tore it up before eating his meal that had just been served.
. . . . . .
The next day he left the city and headed west, following the road indicated in the letter he had to make the detour of several mountains and go through some very difficult paths for ordinary people to cross, the road indicated was so strange that James had the impression that the person who wrote the letter was laughing at him.
And finaly after a few days of walking he arrived in front of a large manor house, covering an area of about 900m, with a large door in a sober style.
But even before he got to the door he saw a man with flaming hair coming out of the main door who also noticed him.
“Huh? What are you doing here?” Shinjuro unconsciously asked in amazement.
“Sorry you got the wrong guy and anyway, if I knew someone as ugly as you, I’d remember.” Said Ibuki ignoring Shinjuro while entering by the door.
Shinjuro remained speechless for one word before drawing his Katana.
