Multi-World Swordsman - Chapter 2
After World War II, James, a 19 year old soldier who had retired from the USA army was charmed by the Kenjutsu of the Ten’notsurugi dojo as he sought his place in the world. He then studied the art of the sword with the master of the dojo who was without disciples reaching the limit of the Ten’notsurugi after sixty years of practice. Even managed to get the title Muteki (Invincible) despite being a foreigner.
An old man was standing in a dojo even older than he was, eyes closed, keeping his guard up as he held a Katana firmly in his hands, despite his wrinkled skin, tired breath and white hair, the old man gave a sense of danger.
While keeping his posture, he whispered:
“I trained 68 years ago, every day of my life without exception, with my weak talent, I could never learn your sublime art, Sensei please forgive me, I could not transmit your art as you asked me before your death.”
“BUT!”
The air around him began to fluctuate strangely as he spoke in a hoarse voice in the old empty Dojo.
“Though I’ve never fallen in love, I’ve never had offspring, I could never master your art that made me fall in love with Kendo!”
A powerful aura spread inside the dojo, even making the animals surrounding the property flee, and the eyes that had been closed until now by the old man opened.
“But I am neither angry nor sad, for I am fulfilled, I am grateful for the life that the universe and fate have given me!”
“Nature! Heavens! Universe! If there is a higher being up there, admire it!”
“Admire my kendo as I once admired my master’s kendo!”
He put his katana back in its sheath, took a deep breath, contracted his muscles and then with a piercing look, he drew his katana!
He then disappeared then reappeared ten meters farther now the Katana in his hands as he breathed out his last breath before falling on the ground.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
In the dojo covering an area of 40 meters until that peaceful moment resounded 4 supersonic booms before the entire dojo and the surrounding trees as well as the grass and animals were cut into hundreds of pieces.
*Bang* *Creak* *Bang* *Creack*
The dojo began to crumble, the surrounding trees fell one by one to the ground as the blood of the animals that had not managed to escape flowed over the cut grass.
. . . . . .
In total darkness a voice murmured:
“Am I dead?”
“Someone from
happy at its end, how rare it is.” Says a singular voice.
“Who’s that?” James asked softly as his consciousness slowly faded.
“Me?”
“I’am hum..All.”
“I’ve admired your technique and that pleased me very much, my child…”
“Then I’ll make you a proposal…”
“I will fulfill your wish, but in return you will distract me for eternity.”
“Do you accept my child?”
“With pŀėȧsurė…”
A golden light covered the dark world taking James with it leaving only the dark and silent void.

“Testify to James Tsukahara’s Kendo! Disciple of Bokuden Tsukahara!”

In total darkness a voice murmured:
“Am I dead?”
“Yes I’m dead, so that’s the end, haha, I’ve had a lot of fun at least, my only regret is probably that I couldn’t use my techniques to their fullest haha..”
James, whose consciousness was fading away, murmured with difficulty.
“With pŀėȧsurė…”
A golden light covered the dark world taking James with it leaving only the dark and silent void.
“Have a good trip, my child…”After World War II, James, a 19 year old soldier who had retired from the USA army was charmed by the Kenjutsu of the Ten’notsurugi dojo as he sought his place in the world.

“Testify to James Tsukahara’s Kendo! Disciple of Bokuden Tsukahara!”
“Yes I’m dead, so that’s the end, haha, I’ve had a lot of fun at least, my only regret is probably that I couldn’t use my techniques to their fullest haha..”
