My Beautiful Love - Chapter 635
Lin Lihua looked back at Yun Xuan, obviously not believing a word she said.
But thinking about it, it did sound logical. If one had to deal with so many problems one after another, they would obviously become irritated. It wouldn’t be shocking if it affected their relationship with other people.
…
At the same time, in another household.
Things were not what you would call peaceful.
The master bedroom had been turned upside down and so had the study.
Files were strewn all over the floor as sheets of paper suffered the same fate.
The large study table was literally flipped and there were innumerable shards of glass on the floor, the remnants of the glass of water that had been brought over for him.
Ruolin carefully opened the door to the study where Tyler was currently taking out his temper. She walked in trying to avoid stepping on a sheet of paper that would get damaged, or on the shards of glass or the patch of water that had soaked through some of the documents.
She shook her head helplessly. How careless. That was a classified document from the IU. “You should forget about that woman. She doesn’t know what’s good for her and obviously doesn’t deserve you. Why do you strive to be with her? Why are you losing your mind over a woman who doesn’t want you, huh?”
The next moment, a pair of ferocious eyes stared at her. “Wang Ruolin, who let you in?!”
Despite his flare, the woman carefully closed in on him. “If you forget about her and marry me again, I will forget everything that happened while she was around.”
She stopped an inch in front of him and met his gaze. “After all, we are so much alike; pretentious, evil in the same way and we have gone through so much together. Don’t you think we are the perfect match?”
“Piss off!” She earned another roar, making her involuntarily retreat.
“Alright. I’ll leave for now. If you change your mind, you know where to find me.” She scurried away, obviously frightened despite putting on an unaffected act.
The light bang of the door closing was followed by a loud crash. The jade flower vase that had been the only ‘survivor’ met its end.
“Yun Xuan, just you wait. I will make you beg to return to my side.”
…
While the delusional man kept dreaming, Yun Xuan chatted with Lin Lihua a little more.
The latter didn’t want to talk too much about her marriage so she cast it aside after receiving the type of encouragement she needed to hold on.
“I heard about what happened with your mother…” Lin Lihua carefully brought up, intending to offer her help if Yun Xuan needed any.
Alas, the woman sighed, her eyes gradually filled with what Lin Lihua thought to be sorrow.
“Forget about her. Actually, that reminds me that I have something to do in the Yun family.”
Lin Lihua could more or less guess what she was driving at.
She could only clench her lips. Indeed, life was not a straight line. It was as twisted and unpredictable as could be.
For years, Yun had been quite the pampered princess but it all shattered overnight. Not only that, her mother’s love also recently crumbled.
Not to mention her relationships that were so unlucky that one might think they were cursed. Even as an outsider, Lin Lihua felt that it was quite pitiful.
If the heavens were fair to her, then her relationship with Lin Ye would flourish without any issues.
…
That being said, Yun Xuan really left for the Yun mansion.
Although she primarily didn’t want to set her foot into this place again, there were things that couldn’t be solved from a faraway distance.
She still had to come back.
It was notable that as soon as the servants saw her again, they gave her weird glances. Obviously they had heard some things they probably shouldn’t have heard and their opinion of Yun Xuan had changed too.
She didn’t give a care about them and waltzed her way to the living room.
“Xuanxuan, are you here to pay your respects to your brother?” Madam Yun came over and spoke, as though the woman who had yelled at Yun Xuan and slapped her not too long ago was not her.
Yun Xuan wasn’t in the least bit moved by her lovey actions. Her voice was emotionless and cold. “No.”
“I see. Are you here to pay mother a visit, then? Actually, the police are still doing their search. Feiwen’s body still hasn’t been found.” Madam Yun explained quickly, not sure whether it was to find a topic of discussion or to stir up some sort of feelings in her.
Yun Xuan frowned. It had not been found?
Wait, what did that have to do with her?
“Hm.” She said passively.
Madam Yun felt awkward before trying to take Yun Xuan’s hands. “About what happened in Xia Rou’s house…”
“Forget about it; that’s in the past.” Yun Xuan interrupted.
Before she could rejoice, Madam Yun heard Yun Xuan’s voice again. “I’m here to officially cut ties with the Yun family.
I’m thankful that you brought me up; I could never be able to repay you for that. But I realized that I’m no longer needed here so it’s better if we part ways completely.”
Madam Yun was perplexed. It was not the first time she was hearing such words from Yun Xuan, but it was the first them she was being official about it.
She understood the implication of her words quite clearly; she didn’t just want to leave like she did before, she wanted to cancel her name out of the Yun family’s household register as well.
“Xuanxuan, how can you say this? Mommy was wrong. Mommy is aware. I’m sorry…”
If this was before, Yun Xuan would have relented before the first word was out.
However, she wouldn’t be so easy going. “You are?
Both you and I know that the reason I didn’t do this before was because of how much I loved you.
But how can our mother-daughter relationship remain intact if your bias is so obvious and nauseating?”
