My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 187
Stunned yet nervous, Sebastian stood quickly and looked at the girl who smiled at him shortly few steps away.
He gulped as it flexed his adam’s apple. “Halora!” he began. But the sound in his chest seemed like a group of singers who performed a beautiful song. “I… I’m sorry if I asked her to open the door for me–”
“I– it’s fine!” Halora said that stopped him. “Have a s–seat!” she told him awkwardly and pretended to be a professional who would always be calm.
In front of them, Jasmine rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She became an audience of two people who had a misunderstanding over a third party.
But before they start, Jasmine waved her hand to the air. “Alright, I guess it’s time to go home!” she said that caught their attention for a moment. “Look after her tonight, I’ll just take a shower and get some stuffs from my room.”
She looked at Sebastian’s eyes that glinted even in the dark.
He slightly shook his head that confused Halora who looked at them with an epic reactions.
“I’ll be back, but for now– seize the moment, fix your problems and once I get back, I’ll a simple party.” said Jasmine with a serious facial expressions.
It stunned Halora who have never been experienced any kind of party. Instead of going out with others girls, she would rather stay indoor and read some books.
She wanted to ask Jasmine regarding her plans but she waved her hands on them and left the love birds surprised.
“What was that? A simple party?” asked Halora to the young alpha who knew nothing about it too.
“I don’t know, but she will be a good, trusthy friend of you.” Sebastian replied.
For a second, the living area was filled with a long, deafening silence. Halora was seating in front of him, squeezing her hands in nervousness she felt.
Guilt drawn on her face while both of them earned enough courage to speak. Halora didn’t know what she did earlier in front of his friends but the moment she recalled everything, she wished to be vanished or either swallowed by the ground.
“I’m sorry–”
“I’m really sorry–”
Both of them said in chorus that created an awkward moment. Halora sighed secretly and covered her scarlet face by the back of her right hand.
“I am really sorry for not telling you about Maxine.” Sebastian started. “She’s an old friend of mine and I didn’t know she transferred in our school today. And believe me, she was the one who approached me!”
There was sincerity in his eyes but there was one thing that bothered her mind and heart.
Halora gasped, looked at his cold eyes but she quickly withdrew and stared at somewhere distant.
“B– but t– th–there’s something that bothere me about your strange actions! But if you don’t want to talk it about, we can jump into another topic if you want–”
“No! Tell everything to me and I’ll be honest to you, Halora. I don’t want to hide things from your back that will hurt your feelings. Do you trust me?”
For a couple of minutes, she was left speechless and frozen in her seat.
She was hesitant to ask him about how sweet and wide he smiled with his so called old, good friend.
Until Sebastian’s bright, cold expression suddenly turned eerie and started to be serious.
She touched her chest, closed her eyes and she said, “You smiled sweetly with her earlier, a– and it was quiet disturbing–”
“Hahahaha!”
Suddenly, a loud, insulting laughter filled around the entire place. Sebastian touched his stomach as he burst into laughter because of Halora.
He knew she was jealous of Maxine but between the two, he would rather choose Halora instead of his friend.
“Why are you laughing? Is it really funny for you, huh?” Halora rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and took a heavy breath.
“Tell me your jealous of her…,”
Her brows raised and she replied, “Why would I tell you the truth? Answer first my question and I’ll do your favor in return.”
She looked kind yet at the same time cold and serious. Halora looked at him sharply that brought him back to his senses.
Sebastian seated straight, put his hands on his knees. Before he spoke, he stole stares at her rossy cheeks that made him smile.
“I know your jealous of her but the truth is–” he paused, “She mentioned your name accidentally and whether you believe it or not, the first thing I did was to smile widely. Upon hearing your magical name, my body strangely reacts that almost change me, Halora!”
“W– what are you talking about? That you smiled sweetly because you heard my name from your friend?”
Her eyes widened as she couldn’t believe the reason behind his alluring smile. She thought Sebastian smiled that way because of Maxine’s charisma.
And she didn’t imagine how her name affected his as a man.
“Yes, and that is the truth, Halora! If you have any questions about Maxine, I will answer it straightforward.”
She smiled shortly, lifted her right arm and gave him a peace sign. “It was not my intention to bring you in an awkward situation, but please accept my apology for thinking something else regarding this matter.”
After a long, dramatic parade, reconciliation and understanding came into their way. Finally, Halora realized that his intention was pure and he was faithful to her.
No matter how many girls would approach her boyfriend, his heart only belong to one special girl in her heart and it was Halora next to Sarah Woo– Sebastian’s mother.
However, Halora wasn’t still fully healed. Because of Sandra’s mother, it confused her decisions and until this moment, Halora has no courage to tell him the truth.
Without a doubt, Halora would always love Sebastian until the last day of her breath. She was willing to sacrifice everything even her life for the sake of her true, destined mate.
“I will never hurt you, Halora. And as long as I am breathing, I will protect and guard you even my life will be at stake.” he said, reached for her cold, wet hands and held it tightly enough to take all the qualms and pain she kept.
