My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 188
Cold breeze suddenly turned warm because of his deep, intense stare at her. The warmth of his body flowed into her thin, vulnerable skin that brought butterflies into her stomach.
The warm sensation he gave to Halora urged her heart to react oddly. It was too fast, loud and fluttered every time he squeezed her palm.
“Are you still mad at me, aren’t you?”
She shook her head, “Of course not! And there’s no reason to be mad at you, my dear campus bad boy!”
Sebastian chuckled out of the blue and pulled her closer to his chest. For a couple of minutes, they looked at each other’s eyes while there was a table in the middle that hindered the way.
He gasped, “My dear girlfriend is jealous.”
“I am not….,” she said, pouted her lips that urged him to do more.
“One…,” he began.
Halora looked at him confusingly. “Two…,” he continued.
Still, she has no idea of what was going on. She sighed, widened her eyes until a soft, thin lips touched against her right cheek.
“I’ve warned you, but you didn’t listen.” he said that turned her cheeks rossy like a red apple.
He shrugged off his shoulders, leaned back into the couch while Halora touched her cheek with a smile on her lips.
As soon as she came back to her senses, she quickly hit his shoulders as she giggled that showed her white, perfect set of teeth.
Her smile, tantalizing brown eyes brought light to Sebastian’s dull life. He never knew that transferring into another school would change the flow of his daily life as an ordinary human kind and as an alpha.
By then, Sebastian stood, walked around and seated next to her. His eyes was stuck on her face when he opened his mouth, “You are the light of my life, Halora.” he muttered.
And for the first time, Halora felt a genuine kind of love. After a long, lonely years, a man she prayed for suddenly came at the right place and right time.
At first, it was unexpected and impossible to be loved by a popular, rich young man with a lot of connections.
Halora never imagined a kind of life with an exemplary man that came from a noble family. His stance, cold expression and the mysteries behind his hidden identity.
“Tonight, I’ll take all the pain away from your heart. And you know what, if nothing happened between us earlier, I would have brought you the hospital where my Grandpa was admitted.”
Worries and fears flaunted on his face. He prayed for his fast recovery yet, nothing had changed since they rushed Lord Solomon to one of the best doctors in the country.
“W– what? You should have told me earlier, Sebastian! I would rather settle down with you instead of running away from it. I should have known about it!”
Her voice filled with dismay, but she couldn’t bring back the past anymore. Instead of putting the blame on her, Sebastian calmed her down through his warm, gentle touch.
He never had any thought of blaming Halora because in the first place, she didn’t do anything that worsen the situation.
“It’s not your fault and I already told Grandpa about this. Don’t worry, according to Mom, we don’t have classes tomorrow because they will be having an emergency meeting with all stakeholders.”
“We can visit Grandpa tomorrow morning. Is it okay with you?”
She quickly agreed to his idea and excitement urged her even more. No one dared to do the same thing to her and now that it was all happening, she won’t waste any of it.
“It’s fine with me, Sebastian! B– but, I’m nervous… I’m nervous because your parents will be there too!” Halora hysterically replied.
Fear precisely drawn on her face, she breathed deeply and thought that his parents would hinder their relationship just like in the movies.
“It’s not about in the movies you usually seen, Halora! It’s not a fiction and why are you too intimidated of them? I am sure they’ll be happy to see you again.”
Because of his encouraging words, the fast and loud heartbeat slowly turned into its normal movement.
She stood, clasped her hands and looked straight into the old aquarium with two lovely gold fish.
“Y– you can’t stop me from feeling this way! All my life, n– no one dared to be part of my lonely life, so you can’t blame me for being nervous!” Her voice arisen.
But Sebastian didn’t give up. Instead, he stood up, stiffened for a second before he tapped her heavy shoulders. It seemed like she has been carrying a burden in her entire life.
He sighed, “I don’t want to pressure you. If you want to move it to other day until you have the confidence to see them, it will be fine with me. Alright?”
Sebastian caressed her shoulders while she closed her eyes in relief. It felt too good that took away all the pain on her body.
“Hmm,” she hummed, embraced herself when the cold wind came back and blew up the light things in the living room. “N– no, I’ll come with you tomorrow morning.” she replied after a long convincing session.
Halora thought that perhaps it was the right time to conquer one of her fears. After living in misery after her parents died that bereaved her for a long time.
“I thank the Almighty for blessing me a beautiful, kind woman filled with magical charisma like you, Halora. I didn’t even know how to court you, so I jumped into the conclusion right away…,” he paused, stepped closer and leaned his chin on her right shoulder.
“And every night it haunting me, Halora. For some reason, my will want to court you like a suitor usually do to a special girl he wanted to marry with.” he whispered to her ears that tingled her entire system.
Halora became a little bit uncomfortable with their position. She never been touched, kissed nor embraced by someone else but because of Sebastian, she experienced the best and warm sentiments that brought butterflies in her stomach.
After a long silence, she smelled his fresh breath, “Let’s start from the beginning, Halora. I will court you and I’ll be your suitor until you are ready.” he said that effortlessly made her burst into tears.
