My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 196
Lucky as she was, Zenith finished the initial stage of gaining back her strength. The mark on her neck was a sign that enemies was planning something tremendous.
And if there was one person who has the power to hurt Zenith, it would be Markus and his entire family.
They wanted to be the strongest pack instead of Sebastian who came from a pack of alphas.
Inside of a spacious, well– ventilated room with a table and three seats, Sebastian couldn’t stopped but to walk back and forth thinking about the suspect’s identity.
He gasped, put his hands on his waist like an exhausted father usual do everytime a problem occurred.
“Hey, can you please stop doing that? It’s giving me headache!”
Roy crossed his arms and caressed his temple. He felt too afraid that her parents might be disappointed with him.
If only he accompanied her, nothing bad would happened. “This all my fault, i– if I accompanied her–”
“Don’t put the blame on you, Roy. We both know that no one wanted it to happen!”
“I… I know! B– but how do I tell her parents? For sure, they’ll get mad at me, for heaven’s sake!” he stood, turned around and looked at the plain, white wall. “I promised that I protect and take care of her no matter what!”
Sebastian took a deep breath and chose to understand his situation. If he was in his shoes, he would felt the same fear and uncertainties too.
“Should I call them now? It’s the best thing to do, Roy. Don’t worry, I’ll help you with it. Alright?”
“You’re right!” he shook his head. “You are right.”
From then, Sebastian walked into the side table and took out his cellular phone. He dialed Gretta’s number, put his right hand to the wall and waited for a second.
However, she didn’t pick up the phone for some reasons. It frightened of Sebastian because he must tell them that something bad happen to her daughter.
Slowly, he moved away the phone from his ears, looked at Rot who quickly stood and sighed deeply.
“W– what happened? D– did you get the chance to contact any of them?” he asked and sounded like a timid bear. “You… you looked devastated.”
Roy sensed that Sebastian didn’t have the chance to disseminate the bad news as much as possible.
Worrying about her health, he turned into her way. She was peacefully sleeping, gaining back her strength.
“I don’t know how to tell them what happened! I… I wasn’t there, for pete’s sake! I wasn’t there beside her to protect from that goddamn group of men!”
Furiously, he kicked off the wall as if he could break it. As he lost all of his strength, Roy leaned over to the wall, exhausted and determined to avenge.
Whoever did this to Zenith, Roy won’t stop until he found the real suspects behind these crazy, evil actions.
He swore to himself that he couldn’t sleep at night peacefully while they were loitering around the city, looking for a new victim.
Angrily, he closed his fists, gritted his teeth as if he was ready to punch the enemy.
“I… I can’t wait to catch those bastards! I won’t stop, I will never stop until I found them!”
He was determined to take revenge for Zenith. Even if it will lead his life at stake, he will never give a damn.
“I’ll help you finding those son of a bitch, dude! We will never take a break until we get their location.” Sebastian murmured as he tapped his shoulders gently.
A long silence echoed around when Roy chose to be silent. He controlled the anger within as he didn’t want to start a trouble in a place that seemed strange to him.
He has never been in that kind of spacious, refreshing place. It looked like a sanctuary in the underground surrounded with trees and flowering plants.
Sebastian nodded his head and decided to leave him alone. It wasn’t easy for him, seeing Zenith in pain.
It seemed like a thousands of sharps needles was pricked right into his chest mercilessly.
It was too painful, unbearable and a heavy weight devoured his vulnerable, broken heart.
On the other side, Sebastian walked into the fifth room with a heavy heart. He tried to lift up Roy’s mood but he failed in the end.
Through his eyes, he saw sincerity that he usually seen at people who truly cared for each other.
Despite the incident that took place, he felt touched by Roy’s dedication. He was completely candid and honest through his actions and words.
“Huh, I should have brought here.” he murmured and gently pushed the door made up of thick, tempered glass. “She would feel grateful for meeting Grandpa.”
Disppointment flaunted on his face while he took steps closer to the old man who peacefully lying on the bed covered with a soft, cozy mattress.
He gulped, remained silent as he didn’t want to disturb and awaken Lord Solomon who just fell asleep before he pushed the glass door.
Inside of Lord Solomon’s room, there was a couch, a table and five seats in the middle. In every corner, there was a refreshing plant that brought luck and soothing ambiance.
At the right side, there was a big window made up glass. Every morning, his nurse would open it up and let the old man watched the beautiful scenery in front of him.
“Hey, Grandpa! How’s your day?” he began. He gasped, looked at his calm, bright face that showed nothing even a little bit of pain. “You looked healthy at this point, but I know, you’re just hiding the pain alone.”
Tears shone to his eyes, it wasn’t a sign of weakness either. “Keep fighting, Grandpa. I’ll make sure that I will find the antidote against the witches’ curse!”
He gritted his teeth furiously, creased the white blanket that covered the old man’s chest.
“I will use the powerful ring to fight against the curse! Hold on and wait for me, Grandpa.” he murmured as he looked at nowhere while his eyes glinted.
