My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 200
Sharp, dangerous stares was thrown by the young man who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Drip of water dropped into the clean floor that shone through out the entire bookstore.
He was all wet, trembling and his body embraced with a cold wind. “Come with me, Halora.” He commanded.
A cold, frightening voice scared of a young woman who was holding a thick book by her right hand. She held her breath, gulped countless times and blinked her eyes.
“Am… am I dreaming b-by a-any chance?” she murmured, took a step closer to the man in front of him. Halora couldn’t believe that he was standing right before her, soaked with cold water.
Nervously, as her hands shaken in fear, she gulped and slowly lifted up her left arm. “Huh!” And finally, after a couple of minutes, she took a deep breath without a blink of an eye..
“Don’t come closer to him, Halora!” spoke a young man who was wearing a white, simple round shirt and a black leather jacket.
He looked afraid, worried that she might be hurt if she insists. But, as he feared it, Halora continued and chillingly cupped his drizzly face. She sighed in relief, blinked her eyes when she felt a sudden longingness in her chest.
It was completely strange but Halora smiled widely the moment she realized that he was real, that he came for her. “I- it’s you, Sebastian! B- but how come you’re all wet and cold? W-what happened?”
“Come on, Halora! He’s nothing but an arrogant bad boy who is only playing with your feelings!”
“Don’t say that, Markus! He’s not like that!” Halora turned around and looked at him angrily.
She didn’t expect that after some quite time, he would still say those words to her boyfriend who didn’t do something wrong.
On the other side, Sebastian glared at Markus who tried to grab Halora’s arm. He gasped, controlled his emotion because it already caught the crowd’s attention.
Secretly, he turned his head around, looking at the children who hid behind their parents nervously. “I have no time with your bullshit, Markus! I know you’re just wearing a mask all this time!”
“I am not!” Markus replied, gritting his teeth in anger. “I… I just… I just want to protect her from y-you! P- please, please just let her go with me and I promise… she’ll be alright and safe.”
“It’s not you who have to decide either!” Sebastian told him that created a gap, and a burning tension between them. “LET. HER. GO!” He grasped her hands tightly but Markus didn’t listen to him.
In the middle of the crowd, the two of them breathed heavily while Halora narrowed her eyes in despair. Her right wrist was almost twisted up by Markus’ tight grip.
She wiggled her arm, pushing him away from her. “Please… please Markus! J-just let me go now!”
But nothing changed aside from the fact that she was in pain and felt uncomfortable with their situation. Halora, closed her eyes and hoped that it was just a dream until she suddenly felt a warm palm touched on her cheeks.
“Hey, are you day dreaming at this hour?” asked Markus. He took the glass of water, squirmed it and he added, “I think we should go home now. It’s getting dark outside.”
Unbelievably, Halora widened her eyes in disbelief. She gasped, turned around and hoped that he was standing behind and waiting for her.
Unfortunately, there was no one behind her except the group of teenagers who seemed to have a deep conversation at the next table.
She said, “M- Markus?” she stutteringly asked. “H- have you ever seen Sebastian behind me… by a-any chance?”
Markus chuckled in awe and disbelief. He knew there was something going on between them but he chose to shut his mouth and didn’t ask questions that considered to be below the belt and personal.
He sighed and replied playfully, “Why are you asking me that question? Did you miss him already, don’t you?” Markus bowed his head while she giggled, and covered his scarlet face with the table napkin.
“W- what? O-of c-course, I don’t miss him! Why would I miss him, in the first place?”
“You’re right, but to tell you honestly…,” he paused, gulped and moved his head closer to her. “I didn’t…” he stopped when he suddenly caught a glimpse of a young man who appeared behind Halora.
His eyes widened; his mouth was left hanging that confused Halora. She grasped tightly her dress, held back her breath as she slowly turned her head at the direction where Markus stared at.
She wanted to ask a question but her tongue won’t let utter a word. Until she felt a very familiar strong presence from behind.
But before she completely saw his face, she cleared his throat and she murmured, “S- Seb- Sebastian!” she excitingly exclaimed until she realized that he looked the same in her daydream earlier.
She breathed, widened her eyes as everything stunned her. “I saw this earlier?” she murmured with a question mark. She couldn’t understand what was going on but she must take Sebastian away from Markus and from the bookstore with a lot of costumers.
Halora shook her head and said, “No! It can’t be happening!”
“W- why are you wet, dude?” Markus confusingly asked him and looked at window for a second. He gulped, secretly reached for Halora’s hand but she quickly pulled it back from his grip. “I- it’s not raining, then how come you ended that way?”
Sebastian didn’t utter a word nor made a move. He was standing firm, waiting for his nervous girlfriend.
“We have to go, Markus! Thank you for accompanying me today but perhaps, it’s best if we will leave now!”
Suddenly, Markus grabbed her hands and pulled her closer to his chest. He was breathing deeply when he whispered to her ears that brought fear to her system, “Look at him! He seemed another person right now, Halora! And… and you are not safe with him at this moment!”
“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?” she yelled at him and pushed Markus that caught some costumer’s attention.
But Markus couldn’t tell her the real reason in front of Sebastian—the young alpha.
