My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 203
“What the hell are you talking about?” the leader of the group asked the thief who saw first the monster. “Are you insane? Or just making stories to mess up e- ev- everything!”
He shook his head and he was not nave. He wasn’t blind and saw the beast with his naked eyes.
However, even he saw it, no one either believed in him. As he reached the first room closer to the stair, he gasped, turned around and he said, “I can’t bear to sacrifice myself just for money. If you want to die, then go to that room and speak with it.”
By then, he fearlessly went downstairs, threw the gun somewhere with a heavy breath.. “Then be on it, Alpha! You will die without any justice,” he murmured until he heard someone asking for help.
“HELP ME!”
“PLEASE! PLEASE… HELP ME!”
It was strange but he chose to leave than staying at the house surrounded with a creepy energy.
He quickly opened the front door, rushed back to the maroon car that was parked three blocks away from the target’s house.
Before he left, he turned around and stared at the entire house. Little did he knew; it was merely built nearby the black forest where monsters lived for thousands of years.
He stepped backward, widened his eyes until he stumbled upon and nervously crawled away from the creepy place and saved his life from death.
On the other side, one of the thieves was forced to check the room. He trembled because of fear but since he was the youngest member of the group, he has no choice but to obey the alpha’s order.
“HURRY UP!”
The alpha pushed him, fortunately he managed to remain firm and walk straight into the room.
“Oh, please forgive all of my sins! Please, spare my life! My little brother is waiting for me!” he prayed as soon as he stooped right in front of the strange room.
But before he could touch the doorknob, it suddenly opened and a monster with hideous face showed up. His knees trembled, quickly looked at the alpha with a terrifying expression.
He said, “I… it’s true! There’s a… m- monster in front of me! It’s real! The monster is real, alpha!”
His voice frightened of the other thieves as they hurriedly went into the front door. They ran for their lives and left behind all the things they had stolen.
And the last man who was trembling in fear took a deep breath and screamed loudly, “Idiots! Wait for me!” he yelled and thought that at least one of them would stop and help him.
Yet, just like in the movies, in the brink of death, no one was willing to take the risk.
While the rest reached their cars, they hurriedly get inside and started the engine and left their leader afraid and furious.
In just a blink of his eyes, he heard the siren that was approaching to the same place. He gasped, quickly touched his chest but he remembered that he threw the gun earlier.
“Goddamn it!” he scowled but the cops quickly disseminated around the area and pointed their guns into his way.
“SURRENDER OR WE WILL SHOOT YOU!”
He hurriedly lifted his hands into the air, knelt down to the ground and cursed into the nowhere when he was left by his idiot slaves.
With further order, cops ran closer to him and kicked his stomach that made him screamed so loudly. There was no room to escape as he was surrounded by the armed authorities.
The culprit gulped, cried desperately and begged for his freedom but the cops were not naïve enough to let him go and live a life with no mercy at all.
“Please, j- just let me go officer! I… I promise… I will never steal again, p- please officer!”
But the head officer turned his head to the cops in the right side and gave an order. They went closer to the thief and handcuffed his hands before he could find a way to escape.
“BRING HIM TO THE HEADQUARTERS, NOW!”
“Yes, officer!”
At that moment, the head officer saw the young heroine once again. It surprised him as he widened his eyes and laid his eyes on her.
He gulped, took steps forward as he couldn’t believe that they met under the dark sky. “It’s been a while, young lady.” he began. “I… I never knew that you lived here all by yourself!”
Halora gave him a short smile, took a deep breath and she replied, “I have no other option but to ask for your help, officer. And it’s my pleasure seeing you again after the incident.”
She was wearing a thin dress below the knee, embraced herself when the cold wind blew up and touched on her vulnerable skin.
Since she became an orphan, she never encountered such wise thieves like them. Nothing bad happened for how many years and it confused her to death how did they find the way to sneak in.
Despite the firm stance, her knees trembled because of fear. “My sincere apologies for disturbing all of you at this hour. I… I was badly afraid that they might hurt us!”
“Us? You mean, you are not alone when they snuck into the house?”
She shook her head in agreement, “Y- yes! But he was peacefully sleeping and I left him the moment I heard a louse noise downstairs!”
The head officer sighed in disbelief. This group of thieves has been caused a lot of damaged and chaos to their victims.
He glanced up at the house until he suddenly noticed someone’s shadow on the curtain. He was certain of what he saw but when he blinked his eyes, the silhouette vanished too quickly like a fake affection of a man.
“Then where is he right now? Did the thieves hurt him or even you, Halora?”
He sounded like a worried father but, unexpectedly he heard a loud, mischievous laughter that caught the other cops’ attention.
As he realized that she was laughing in front of him, he confusingly stared at her rosy cheeks and a genuine smile formed on his lips.
“You don’t have to worry about him, officer! He’s doing fine and…,” she stooped closer to him and covered her mouth. “He snored loudly, hahahaha!” she whispered that took away the fear on the old man’s chest.
