My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 204
A quick, short investigation was completely finished after the culprit was brought to the police car. The head officer thanked Halora for her cooperation.
As soon as the cops drove back to the headquarters, Halora stood under the dark, gloomy sky. It was covered with thick, vague clouds, with out twinkling stars and shining midnight sun.
“Huh, I never thought that he managed to frighten of the thieves by wearing a terrible mask.” she murmured, giggled as she crossed her arms and caressed it gently.
For a moment, she stayed and felt the cold ambiance caused by howling wind. It wasn’t a new feeling for her but it kept her calm and safe.
The dark surroundings somehow brought fear to her, the deep, sinister sound that came from the black forest. The sparrows and hawks that lived at wilderness fled away so suddenly.
They went high up above and formed a horrifying formation that caught Halora’s attention. “It’s been a long time since I saw sparrows and hawks at this hour!” she whispered to the wind and remembered her late grandmother’s superstitious beliefs.
AWOOOOOOOH!
AWOOOOOOOH!
Loud roar scared the living entities in the forest. It was strangely new to her ears but there was one thing more that completely shocked the young girl.
“T- the m- mid- midnight sun!” she stepped back, widened her eyes in awe.
She couldn’t believe that it suddenly appeared out of the blue. The vague sky that covered with thick clouds vanished and replaced with a breathtaking bright full moon.
Abruptly, her old cellular phone vibrated that distracted her for a moment. She took a profound breath, hit her hand forcibly.
She looked at the screen and she noticed that there were two unread messages. Without any thought, she hurriedly opened and read it aloud.
“Sebastian is missing and I don’t know where is he right now!” The first message said that came from Roy.
She sighed, rubbed her hands on her arms and opened the last message as she held back her breath. “This is Sebastian’s mother and if you know something about my son’s location. Please contact this number as soon as possible.”
“She’s… S- Sebastian’s m- mother?”
Stumbled upon the message she just received, Halora swallowed greedily and looked at the front door right away. Her heart filled with fear and guilt for not telling anyone about what happened to Sebastian.
Nervously, she put the phone closer to her chest and rushed back to her room. She couldn’t think carefully because of the pressure she had felt.
She gasped, stopped for a second with a heavy heart, “Huh! Huh!” But before she could reach her room, the cellular phone suddenly rang deafeningly.
And surprisingly, her eyes widened the moment she realized who was the caller that popped up on the screen. “S- she’s calling! W- why she’s calling me r- right this… m- mo- moment?”
Her hands shivered because of the heaviness on her lower body. It seemed like her feet was glued to the staircase and her mouth was sealed unexpectedly.
However, as her confidence was shrouded by fear, she didn’t press the answer button and the caller hung up the call.
It made her sinful and culpable as if she was hiding Sebastian from his family. But for the second time, her phone rang and she was ready to answer it.
Yet, something stopped her when she glided away and accidentally dropped the phone to the cold floor.
“Oh! You’re too careless, Halora!” she tapped her forehead disappointingly and walked back downstairs and picked up the broken phone.
“Come on! Don’t be too cruel to me, please!”
As she tried to open it, she slowly stepped into the stair, and looked at somewhere distant. She couldn’t accept the truth that it was barely broken.
With guilt and dismayed in her chest, Halora stopped in front of her room. She courageously pushed the door, walked inside as she thought the young alpha was still peacefully sleeping.
But the moment she laid her eyes on bed, she saw no one except the pillows that scattered around and the crumpled white blanket.
“Where did he go? H- he was right here earlier when I left!” she scowled, furrowed her eyes in disbelief.
Instead of waiting, Halora went into the washroom and knocked on the door thrice. “Sebastian! Are you inside, Sebastian?” A worried voice sounded around yet, no one answered.
Halora didn’t give up easily and knocked on the door countless times. As she got the same thing, she pulled her hair in despair and leaned back to the wall.
Devastatingly, she rubbed her face with her bare hands. It has been a long, tiring night for her and now, the bad boy was missing.
“I… I don’t know what to do anymore! I… thought it be a sweet, starry-eyed feeling but why do I feel this way?”
A desperately voice came from her mouth. It seemed exhausted and unhappy but it was merely hard to explain. “W- where are you?”
Calm like a slow turtle, she stepped closer and seated on the edge of the bed. She picked two of the pillows, glanced up on the ceiling while she tightly embraced it.
“Who are you, Sebastian? Why would you always appear out of nowhere, in the same place and time?”
After a long, quick time, she questioned his strange actions since his grandfather was rushed to the hospital that day.
To her left, she noticed that there was an unfamiliar cellular phone on the side table. Out of her curiosity, she eagerly stretched her arm and took it without the owner’s permission.
Halora tucked away a few strands of hair into her ears, she switched it on until it was successfully opened.
She said in astonishment, “Oh! There’s no even a password or something like fingerprints!”
A smile flashed on her face when she freely has an access to the cellular phone. The gallery was quite empty but there was one, short draft message that caught her attention the moment she browsed all of the apps.
“The dark past of my life.” she said as it was the title of the draft message.
