My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 209
The alluring voice of the little boy repeated countless times that confused Halora. His glowing eyes and adorable cheeks hypnotized her for a couple of minutes.
“Remember, follow the instructions or you will be receiving -B.” he warned Halora and looked coldly at Sandra. “Never follow her, I’ll be watching you from afar.”
“W- what? And w- why would I do that, little boy?” Sandra suddenly burst into anger when she heard it from a young boy who looked like a kindergarten.
Halora looked at them and couldn’t still believe that he spoke differently to Sandra. Earlier, he was too sweet and lovely but towards her, he transformed into a cold, mysterious child.
He then chuckled, caressed his chin and he replied sarcastically, “You’ll get angry and envy, Young lady. But don’t worry, he’s waiting behind you right now.”
The little boy winked at her and the moment she looked behind, Sandra gulped and laid her eyes on her without a blink of an eye, “H- how long have you been standing t- th- there?” she surprisingly asked.
But the man didn’t utter a word but he turned around and pointed the three from a distance.
“W- what does it m- mean? D- do I have really to go there, huh?”
“They were all right. You possessed a pretty place but you don’t usually used your brain properly.” he said and before he vanished, he clapped his hands thrice.
Until a loud noise echoed around that distracted both of them. Halora covered her eyes while Sandra was left dumbfounded and startled.
And the moment they came back to their senses, both of them stared at each other and breathed heavily. Halora said, “I… I should f- follow the instructions, right?” Her eyes glowed and her heart skipped a bit after a while.
Some of the students looked intriguingly at their way, but fortunately, they quickly withdrew and finished their food.
“A- and s- should I have to go to that tree?”
With no guarantee, Halora bowed her head and looked at the tray. She gulped, swallowed greedily as she reached the glass of lemon tea and drank all of it like a thirsty beggar.
She also took the spoon and ate the slice of cake while she was standing straight in front of Sandra. “D… do you want?” she asked as she gnawed it quickly.
“Anytime soon all students will be around…,” Sandra murmured, “We need to go right now, Halora before the crowd witness everything!”
For a second, Halora looked at her wristwatch and noticed the time. It flew to fast that blew up her entire system and awakened the butterflies in her stomach. “You’re right! I… I should go by now and s- see you a- around.”
Stutteringly, Sandra replied in a hollow voice, “See you around, H- Halora!”
At the moment, Halora beheld the letter that was given by the little boy. It wasn’t an ordinary letter because it has a unique design. Slowly, she opened and read the first instruction that was written on it.
“Step 1: Go to the school garden and you will see a white box in one of the benches.”
Halora looked up above the sky as it flattered her heart. She thought it only ensued in the movies yet, it could happen in the real life too.
She sighed, waved her hands on Sandra who went to the tree confused and nervous. “Hmm, I won’t lose anything if I try it, right?” she murmured as the wind blew up gently.
Right then, Halora held her breath while she walked straight to the school garden. Her heart beat too fast while her knees trembled not because of fear but because of excitement it has brought.
Every step she took, matters the most as it made her felt like a princess who has everything. To set aside the exhilaration she felt, Halora looked throughout the peaceful and windy surroundings.
The trees swayed gracefully, the sky was blue and warm and the staff around were all occupied by their duties.
“School garden- check! And a white box- check!”
Halora gasped heavily as she stopped at the entrance. She closed her eyes, smiled shortly and trusted her strong instincts and gut feeling.
Nervous yet, fascinated, Halora walked towards the strange white, glimmering box. While the birds chirped sweetly and watched at her, a genuine smile drawn on her face.
“Ohh, I got some cuties audience right up there!” she giggled mischievously.
For one last time, she read the instruction and she was right, she must open the box as soon as possible.
She gasped, put the paper into the bench and gently opened the box that made her fascinated and bewitched by the fragrant red and white petals inside.
Her eyes widened in awe, her heart stopped beating. She then scooped the petals by her hands, smelled it closely enough that urged her to dig more.
Until she felt a thick thing underneath it. “W– what is this?”
Her high pitch voice echoed around that almost frightened of the birds rested on the branches of the tree.
Distrustfully, she slowly picked up the thick thing with one of her eyes was wide open.
Little did she knew; it was an invitation! An offer from a stranger. But there was another instruction written in the card with a prose.
“Step 2: Find the small box inside and never open it until you know the next step.”
Halora swallowed heavily as she kept in her mind the rules of this nonsense. She was not expecting anything romantic and nostalgic. And for sure, it was just merely a prank of some spoiled brat students.
Below the step 2, Halora’s eyes laid on the prose that was quite good and sweet.
“The blue sky, calmed my mind. Why it weakens my knees seeing you around? Perhaps, you are my missing light; that lift me up and changed my whole life.”
“From, your midnight sun.” Halora almost burst into tears after she read a beautiful prose.
It brought warmth and tenderness to her heart as there was only one person who make her felt special and extraordinary.
