My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 219
The kingdom of witches was disturbed in the middle of cold night when Queen Herathesia declared that there was a thief who snuck into her room and stole the ring of darkness.
Everyone was all gathered in the conference hall where important meetings usually took place. Hundreds of witches were left perturbed of the sudden bad news but there was a group of witches who arrived at the hall with meaningful smile on their faces.
Damara clapped her hands that caught their attention especially the bothered queen. She pouted her lips, narrowed her eyes and showed sympathy to her.
“Oh, my dear sister, I didn’t know that you aren’t that strong to guard one of the most powerful rings in the kingdom!” she sighed, looked up at the queen who was terrified by her sudden presence.
But instead of showing fear in front of her evil sister, Queen Herathesia walked slowly towards Damara with her head held high. She was the queen, the most powerful and influential woman in the entire kingdom.
She clasped her hands, put it together and looked intently into Damara’s playful eyes. “My dearest sister has arrived; would you mind if I ask you something?”
“It’s my pleasure to answer your question, My Highness.”
Deep inside, Damara wanted to tell that she was the one who stole the ring of darkness in front of everyone but strangely, she saw the black shadow stood from a corner.
She then turned her gaze at Herathesia and looked at her with no trace of fear.
“You can see and hear him too, am I right?” The queen asked that surprised her sister all out of the sudden.
Damara’s reaction was quite disturbing but she remained still and calm. “I speculate that he stole the ring earlier while I was sleeping. What do you think, Damara? Does a shadow can touch a ring and stole it from my kingdom?”
For a moment, a long silence filled around as she couldn’t find the exact words to say. And all of the witches started to put the blame on Damara.
She sighed and replied, “I don’t agree with your speculations, Your Highness. A shadow can’t touch nor stole a ring from your kingdom! And probably, someone who you truly trust betrayed the queen.”
“Are you saying that there is a traitor inside of this hall right now?”
Queen Herathesia was much more intelligent and wiser than her younger sister who was devoured by hatred and envy.
She walked around her, bowed her head and took a deep, heavy breath. “Tell me everything you know, Damara. This kingdom was built by our beloved parents and it remained standing until this very moment.”
“I promised to the late queen that I will get rid of the witches who dared to betray and forget the words of wisdom that was left to us by our ancestors.”
Queen Herathesia felt that the traitor was standing right in front of her but she couldn’t blame her without a reliable proof that would be presented to all witches who still believed in her abilities.
But Damara suddenly burst into a mischievous laughter and clapped her hands. They stood in the middle of the hall and threw deep, meaningful gazes.
She touched her stomach, caressed her chin and lifted up her head conceitedly. “You are maybe the queen but I can do so much, better than you, Herathesia! Don’t underestimate me or I will tell everyone about your biggest secret!”
“Are you threatening me?” she replied confidently that awakened the rage within Damara’s heart. “If you are truly cared about our family, you will never do anything that will ruin our reputation. You will never attempt to steal something that you don’t ever own!”
A peaceful conference suddenly turned into an intense conversation between the queen and her sister. Since Hiraya died, Damara showed her true colors that merely shocked the witches.
At first, a rumor spread throughout the kingdom about her true colors. No one believed it because of her angelic face and kind heart until Queen Hiraya died after she passed the throne to her chosen successor.
“Everyone, if you know something who planned and snuck into my room, never hesitate to confess now! I will reward you with bounty of bar golds and one of the rarest, powerful magic!”
“STOP IT, HERATHESIA! YOU ARE JUST A QUEEN WHO KNOWS NOTHING BUT KINDNESS!”
Damara burst into anger that shocked everyone. Gossips began to spread; speculations were created and the truth has finally revealed.
“Such a disgrace in the royal family!”
“What an evil witch!”
“So, the rumors were all true! Hiraya kept a monster in the kingdom for a long time!”
Everyone has different opinions until Damara got pissed off of everything she heard. Her sanity and kindness were drifted away until she screamed loudly that terrified them all.
She said, “SILENCE!”
Fear drawn on their faces that made Damara laughed bitterly. She wanted to kill all of them but she heard the black shadow’s voice once again.
“Don’t do it, Damara. You have to complete a mission before you jump into your own, greatest ambitions.”
All out of the blue, she glared at the Queen sharply who stood firmly in front of her. “From this moment, you will no longer my sister and I am your greatest enemy! I will come back to get what it supposed to be mine!”
Despite the fear in her heart, as the leader of the witches, Herathesia lifted her head with dignity and pride.
She threw deep, cold stares at her and she replied, “I have witnesses, Damara. You are the one who started this but I will put an end to your craziness! I will fight even if it takes my life away!”
Right then, Damara angrily left the kingdom that was once her home- her everything. She lost everything she had when she chose to be the greatest enemy of the queen.
And at that cold night, Damara and her adherents went into an isolated cave. But along their way, werewolves suddenly appeared that killed all of her adherents.
Damara was deeply wounded and that was the reason why she cursed the werewolves who almost took her life that night.
