My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 222
Halora escaped from the eager reporters who wanted to do an interview with her. She can’t let them reveal her real identity as it would only create a big impact and would probably block her way to find Damara and her adherents.
Along the way back to the school, she bowed her head and thought where to locate the enemy. Through the sacred box, she gathered enough information on how to fight against evil witches.
“Huh, that was too close! I… I can’t go to the station by myself” she murmured until someone grabbed her arm.
She screamed but the stranger covered her mouth and said, “Calm down, Halora! I am not your enemy, do you understand?”
He looked behind and the good thing was there were no students who loitered outside of the campus. “I came here to help you! Damara is not a typical evil witch. She’s cruel and heartless!” he told her that confused her mind.
Halora said, “Who are you, Sir? My… my parents never mentioned a man’s name in the letter!”
“You don’t have to know my name, young lady! The most important thing is to stop Damara from possessing the ring of darkness once again.”
He breathed heavily as he told her what to do. But Halora noticed a minimalist tattoo on his index finger and it was a combination of letters.
“Kairos?” she muttered that caught off his guard.
His green eyes glinted as the sunrays touched on his face. He said in a hollow voice, “H- how did you k- know my name?”
Amusement flushed on his face as he didn’t know that she could read someone’s mind too. But the truth was it was barely written on his skin.
Halora giggled mischievously and she replied, “Hmm it’s pretty obvious, Sir! The meaning of that letters is ‘Kairos’, am I correct?”
She was looking at his right finger with a playful smile. She crossed her arms, raised her brows and winked at him.
He said, “Herathesia was blessed with a wise, mischievous daughter! I should have meet you before when you were still young!”
Suddenly, he chuckled unknowingly that it brought her back to the pain and darkness when she became an orphan. Her heart crumpled once again because of pain until she felt a warm hand touched on her back.
“Halora, what are you doing in here? You’ll be late!” spoke Markus who looked fresh and fine.
His gaze laid on Kairos who recognized him too but none of them either uttered a single word about their real relationship.
“I must go by now, Halora! I’ll see you again after classes, just wait for me. Do you understand?” Kairos told her and secretly looked at Markus’ way.
“But wait! Kairos!”
Markus held her arm and stopped her from following him. He knew what was happening and it was the perfect time to help the werewolves and became a legendary beast.
He said, “You heard what he said, Halora. He’ll be back after our classes!” his voice raised that echoed around the sidewalk.
For a second, Halora closed her eyes and controlled her emotions. She has a lot of questions to ask but it was difficult to trust someone that easily.
“You’re right, and please, don’t tell anyone about this especially Sebastian. I don’t want to disturb him this time that his grandfather needed him the most.”
“I will.” he replied shortly.
Right then, the two of them walked into the main entrance and presented their Ids. The guards were quite hesitant to let them in but it was a private school and every student has the right to be late.
Halora bowed her head and remained silent while she walked into her classroom with Markus. She badly wanted to know if Damara stole the ring of heaven as it would be a big problem for the whole world.
“You seemed anxious lately. Is there something bothering you, Halora?”
She shook her head in disagreement and took out the apple that was given by the man earlier. Her strength completely vanished because of the reporters.
Markus took a deep breath when he heard nothing but a howling wind. Until they reached their classroom that seemed like a trading place.
Scratch papers scattered throughout the floor; tiny plastics of chocolates spilled over while Jasmine impatiently picked it one by one.
“I like you better when you glared at me that way. Your pleasing eyes want me to do more than what I did earlier, am I right?” said a fat, short man.
Jasmine angrily glanced up at him and without any thought, she gritted her teeth and punched him right on his right cheek.
The entire classroom filled with loud laughter and voices that shocked everyone. It was definitely a good match until Halora entered inside and pulled away Jasmine from him.
She said, “Stop it, Jasmine. It’s over now.”
They were looking at him until he felt a warm fluid that flowed into his lips and tasted it. He sighed deeply until he realized that it was blood.
He looked at Jasmine’s way furiously and sobbed childishly as he screamed his mother’s name.
Jasmine smirked, flipped her hair and looked around the students who were entertained for five minutes.
She said, “What are you looking at? Sweep the floor, now!”
The fat man’s friends quickly bowed their heads and ran towards the small cabinet and took the brooms. They frighteningly obeyed her order while she walked back into her seat with Halora.
“You’re late, Halora! I thought Sebastian will pick you up?”
“I… I don’t exactly k- know, Jasmine! I’ve been waiting for him outside but I’ll be late if I won’t look for a taxi!”
Markus listened to their conversation as he knew the bad boy’s whereabouts. He saw everything but it was not his business anymore.
“Forgive me, Halora, but I can’t break your heart because of the ugly truth. I know you love Sebastian so much but he’s just fooling you around.” he thought.
He then walked closer to the window while Jasmine and Halora talked about what happened. From afar, he witnessed how Sebastian smiled sweetly with someone else.
Did Sebastian certainly fooled Halora through his flowery words and actions or it would just be part of his plan to determine the real traitor?
