My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 243
“Sebastian!”
Halora murmured his name that caught the attention of all guests. Her sweet, clear voice sounded while she looked into the man standing in the entrance.
Maxine, the speaker, Jasmine and Markus slowly turned their gaze on Sebastian who remained calm and firm.
Until he owned the spotlight that confused hundreds of people inside of the elegant scene.
“Oh, my goodness, he’s fucking hot and handsome!” said one of the guests behind Jasmine.
She was about to shut the girl’s mouth, but Markus quickly warned her.
Fortunately, she obeyed his greatest reminder after a long, devastating time. All eyes were on the campus bad boy as he walked gracefully on the aisle.
There were no emotions on his face that brought fear to Maxine. Her knees trembled when it suddenly weakened by his presence.
She couldn’t either believe that once again, Sebastian broke her heart like how he hurt her when he fell in love with Halora.
“W- what t- the hell is going on?”
“Why does he’s alone and walking like a perfect man?”
“Shut your mouth up! Can’t you see his stunning girlfriend on that table? He came not for Maxine but for his beloved woman!”
The guests have different opinions but there was one thing that left them confused and naïve.
And for a moment, Halora realized that she truly found the man who would love, respect and adore her for the rest of his life.
When the moment he asked her to trust him, Halora has a little doubt in her heart, but as an empowered woman, she trusted him with all her heart.
Right at the moment, tears flowed into her cheeks not because she won over Maxine, but because she witnessed the truth through her naked eyes.
All out of the sudden, Sebastian looked into her brown, glowing eyes and stopped in front of her.
He sighed, offered his arms like a king and he said, “Can I have this dance with you, my queen?”
Everyone was surprised of his deep, husky voice. He was every girl’s dream but, Halora won the title.
“W- what are you doing? Y-you’re supposed to be with her!”
Halora tried to minimize her voice but still, the crowd heard her sweet voice.
“Yes, or no?” Sebastian coldly asked her.
Before she decided, Halora glanced up at the girl on stage that supposed to be on her place. She could see how painful it is to see a man you love with someone else.
In her entire life, Halora haven’t been in the same situation where she must choose between two dangerous options.
Sebastian waited for her answer but, whatever happened, he would always be in Halora’s side forever.
“I am sorry, Sebastian but I…” she paused, closed her eyes as she couldn’t either let him be with someone else especially with Maxine.
Her heart thumped too fast when she met his alluring gaze. It weakened her soul, and it felt like he was hypnotizing her by his perfect face.
“Say yes, Halora! Don’t let that girl ruins your relationship!” Jasmine told her from behind that helped her a lot to decide.
Halora swallowed greedily, held her breath back for a second as she slightly nodded her head.
She said, “Yes, Sebastian! And you will always be my first and last dance.”
Sebastian smiled sweetly when he convinced her in front a lot of people. He the looked at Markus’ way as he shook his head as a sign of thanking a friend.
Markus did a great job for protecting his girlfriend while he dealt with Maxine’s parents. He told him everything beforehand, but Sebastian wanted him to pretend innocently.
“I owe everything to you, Markus.” Said Sebastian that surprised Halora and Jasmine.
She looked at him confusingly, but the bad boy put his index finger to her crimson, thin lips.
He gulped, “Don’t say a single word, my queen.” he said that annoyed Maxine even more.
“No problem.” Markus replied shortly.
From then on, Sebastian gently held her hands and walked into the center stage. The crowd cheered for them, screamed their names and looked at Halora with jealousy on their eyes.
However, Maxine hurriedly ran towards their way, closed her fists and gritted her teeth.
Her friends stopped her from making a scandalous scene but she was too persistent that she could even pushed them away.
“Maxine!”
“Please, stop it! It’s not worth it!”
They told her to give up and let Sebastian live a happy life ever after with his beloved girlfriend, Halora.
It was painful for them, yet, giving up the person you love over their happiness was the sweetest thing to do.
“Get out from my way, now!” Maxine yelled at the event organizers who attempted to stop her.
She threw few of the cupcakes, fell the tower of champagne that frighted of all the guests. Her face was filled with hatred, anger and jealousy that entirely changed her into a different person.
“She’s coming towards us, Sebastian!”
“Stay behind me! I will never let her hurt you once again!”
As a protective boyfriend, Sebastian did everything to defend Halora. Even if it would provoke him, he would always make sure that she’s safe and sound in his arms.
Halora couldn’t believe that she was the reason of someone’s pain and suffering. She couldn’t afford to lose him nor give him up to the girl like Maxine.
“Fuck you, asshole! I thought you won’t hurt me all over again, but look what you did? You break my heart countless times, Sebastian!”
Maxine screamed at the top of her lungs and she looked like a dragon who was about to breath a fire.
Her stunning red dress covered with stains when she ruined her own birthday party but she put the blame on Sebastian and Halora who were both innocent.
“It’s your fault. And I am not a thing that you can control with, Maxine. I own myself, and I am the only person who will decide whether to be here or night!”
“I hate you! I fucking hate you for doing this to your childhood friend! I thought… I thought you will keep your promises to me, but right now, you broke everything especially heart!”
Behind Sebastian, Halora remained silent but through Maxine’s eyes, she could see that she was in unbearable agony.
She closed her eyes, held back her breath and whispered to Sebastian’s ears secretly.
“Never hurt her again, Sebastian.”
