My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 245
Halora widened her eyes when a sharp, small thing pricked deeply into her stomach. Her blood stopped flowing into her veins as she listened to the thumping sound of her heart.
No one ever knew how it felt like, but she was certain it was a severe wound.
And the only thing she knew is to glance up at Sebastian who wanted to kill Maxine.
She smiled, reached for his arms and stopped him from transforming into a fatal beast. It would be too dangerous for him.
“Don’t… d-don’t do it, Sebastian. Let’s go back home… let’s go back home i-in-instead.” she weakly whispered to his chest that controlled his burning anger.
Sebastian couldn’t forgive Maxine if Halora would be in the brink of death. He won’t let her slip away, living a happy life after trying to kill his girlfriend.
For one, las time, he turned his head and stared at Maxine’s poker face. Under the velvet night, he gritted his teeth, stared at her for a few seconds.
“Pray for her fast recovery, if you don’t, you’ll be punished accordingly.” he told her mercilessly.
Maxine glanced up at him, kneeling down as she begged for what she have done to Halora.
At that moment, she forgot that she was a queen who supposed to be independent and strong enough to stand on her feet.
But because of her selfish ambitions, Maxine was blind by fake love that almost killed someone who’s innocent.
“Please! P-please, forgive me!”
“I don’t know what just happened but, but it was not my intention!” She burst into tears yet, no one dared to help her.
All out of the blue, Sebastian held his breath as he carried Halora like a bride and turned his back on the crying lady behind.
There was no point of staying with her after everything she did. Sebastian believed that love must be kind, healthy and genuine.
It should help two lonely people to grow and see the beauty in it and not bringing them into trouble and chaos.
“Sebastian!”
“Please, don’t leave me like this! Don’t replace me over a cheap girl!”
“SEBASTIAN!”
Maxine didn’t stop even Sebastian walked silently like a king carrying the real, wounded queen. It was over, everything was done yet, she remained on the same ground.
She screamed angrily, hit the cold ground yet, nothing happened. Sebastian didn’t come back to redeem her from a dangerous heartache.
However, along the way to his car, Halora coughed continuously until blood dribbled from her mouth. She looked pale for losing a lot of blood and she must be sent to the hospital as soon as possible.
“H-Halora! Please, please don’t c-close your eyes! D-don’t close your eyes, do you understand?”
He tapped her cheeks, keeping her wide awake but her condition became too serious and frightening.
“W-why? Are you afraid of death, aren’t y-you?”
Despite her condition, Halora found a way to fool around with him. She giggled like everything was fine- like she was completely fine.
But Sebastian didn’t laugh nor show his perfect set of teeth and a jaw-dropping smile. It was hard for him seeing Halora in pain.
If only he did his very best, Halora wouldn’t be hurt. If not because of him, she would be in a peaceful situation at this moment.
Halora took a deep breath when he didn’t answer. She faintly cupped his face, caressed it gently and savored every moment.
Until a sweet smile flaunted on her pale lips. She didn’t know what to do if she witnessed how Sebastian hold someone else tightly.
The thought of it broke her heart, and dying for no reason made her happy.
“It’s been a long time since I met you on that day.”
As clear as the water in a river, Halora remembered how and when they met each other coincidentally. She thought it was impossible to reach and hold tightly a shining star from the ground.
Her life entirely changed, her visions and beliefs. But there was one thing that never vanished from her heart- death.
“I… I am sleepy, Sebastian. S-should I remain awake?” she asked innocently that shattered his heart into pieces.
Sebastian calmly opened the door next to the driver’s seat and let Halora seated. Her white dress covered with blood but it was nothing to him.
He said, “Don’t sleep. Promise me that you will never close you eyes until we reach the nearby hospital! P-promise me, Halora!”
His entire body was shaking as he tried to remain her calm and conscious.
“It won’t take too long, I promise.” he kissed her on the forehead, hopped into the car nervously.
The pain and fear inside of his chest was killing Sebastian slowly. He didn’t know what to do first because Markus rushed Jasmine to the hospital first.
While he drove the car as fast as it could, he saw how Halora endured the pain. She even used her hands as patch to stop the wound from bleeding.
“Goddamn it!”
“Fucking traffic is getting into my nerves since then!” he whispered and banged the steering in anger.
“W-where are we?” Halora asked him.
Her voice seemed different and her eyes turned too heavy to carry on. Sebastian held back his breath, pressed the horn that caught other driver’s attention.
He was angry while Halora tried to catch her breath. “I… I am sorry, but we… we’re stuck in the traffic.” He told her the truth that urged her to shake her head slightly.
She gasped, held his right hand tightly. “I can’t hold it longer anymore.”
It was one of the most heartbreaking moment of his life. Sebastian looked around him, but it was surrounded with cars and other vehicles.
“No! No, you must not go to sleep, Halora! Do not shut your eyes, please!” he begged her to stay awake despite all the hindrance that blocked his way.
But he never wished to stay inside of the car, doing nothing than waiting for how many hours before the traffic vanished away.
Sebastian took everything he needed as he opened the door and carried Halora once again.
“I want you to hold on to me, Halora. That’s an order..” he said as he ran quickly to the nearby medical facility.
