My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 257
“Have you seen the girl who was rushed to the hospital by her boyfriend?” spoke a girl with a yellow bunny-like headband on her golden-brown hair.
In front of her was her friends who were also invited during Maxine’s birthday party aside from Markus, Jasmine, Sebastian and Halora.
The sky seemed warm and blue as the birds flew high and watched the people below. It was a nostalgic scenery that an ordinary human would wish to until the end of his life.
Around the fresh, soothing ambiance of the school garden, a lot of students gathered early in the morning. They were loitering around, laughing with friends while waiting for the bell.
“From what I’ve heard, she’s doing fine but her room was surrounded by strange people. I don’t know if that’s true, after all, we don’t know that girl that much!”
“But how I hope I was Sebastian’s girlfriend…” said a girl, peeking at the campus bad boy who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
He walked like a God, he spoke like a king and his charisma itself captured thousands of women’s heart.
The four of them widened their eyes when Sebastian walked towards their way. All of them looked at him without any blink of an eye, letting their hearts beat too fast.
Around them, the trees danced with a rhythm caused by the wind as it brought a fresh air to everyone. And the flowers swayed as well as the bees that have been sipping on its petals.
Sebastian stopped right in front of them, smiled genuinely that surprised even the group of girls behind. He said, “Have you seen my girlfriend went to this area?”
No one dared to speak nor blink their eyes. If they would do that, a once in a blue moon would be a waste.
Before they lost it, the four girls before his eyes quickly shook their heads.
They said in chorus, “We’ve been here for an hour but… but we d-didn’t see her around!”
“Thank you so much! I have to see her right away!” he replied that stunned most of girls effortlessly.
The campus bad boy looked throughout the school garden and the girls he asked about were telling the truth. He gasped, thinking where did Halora run to after seeing him.
He felt sad when she didn’t even say hello earlier. He could say that there’s something forcing Halora to avoid him suddenly.
But he wanted to know her reasons before jumping into conclusion. He must find a way to confront her before the next new moon happened.
While he walked away from a bunch of girls, Sebastian stopped in the middle of the wide field when Robbe called his name.
“SEBASTIAN!”
“PLEASE STOP WALKING AWAY FROM US, SEBASTIAN!”
After what happened on that night, Sebastian failed to provoke his friends and before they turned into a beast, his men quickly rescued them from any danger.
He must be grateful after all, but he could not celebrate knowing that it is not over yet.
“Are you avoiding us? It’s been two days since someone saved us from that forest!”
Robbe has a strong feeling that Sebastian was the only one who helped them and not including the cops. He knew there was something that his friend kept from them for a long, long time.
But Sebastian has another plan to bring the enemy’s guard down behind their back. It must be a perfect plan to protect the mankind from being vanished too easily.
“And why would I do that? I should be the one asking you that question, Robbe.” Sebastian looked at his eyes and took a deep breath.
Despite the fear in his heart, he remained calm as always. He didn’t want to start any trouble especially against his beloved friend.
He said, “Are you avoiding me? After the cops saved you, no one dared to speak with me like I was the one who brought all of you in that goddamn forest!”
Robbe shook his head in disbelief as he could no longer keep it. He wanted to know the truth, and he’s ready to what it would be.
“Just tell us the truth, Sebastian. We can’t let someone control us even you’re the leader of this group.”
“I want to protect all of you, but seeking the truth might put you in danger.”
That moment, Robbe widened his eyes, controlling his emotion that trying to get out. It wanted to be free, but he didn’t know how to do.
He must collect information from Sebastian before it was too late. The sooner he uncovered the truth, the better.
Robbe opened his mouth but when he blinked his eyes, Sebastian was afar from his way.
He gritted his teeth, chased after the bad boy and unknowingly, he grabbed his left arm that surprised both of them.
Ever since, he never attempted to lay his hands on him. He knew his strength and Sebastian could barely break his bones into pieces.
But one thing that shocked him is when Sebastian burst into laughter after some quite time.
He said playfully, “You’re quite strong, Robbe. Keep doing that and you will uncover the truth without forcing me to do so.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Believe in yourself and the truth will set you free and the rest. However, before you lost control, tell everyone to see me tonight.”
“But if you don’t trust me enough, then let me solve everything by myself.”
Sebastian turned his back on Robbe who couldn’t even speak nor move his feet. Looking through Sebastian’s eyes felt like it was a bright portal into another world.
He wanted to see what inside of that door, but it suddenly disappeared when the campus bad boy took steps away.
He sighed, looked down to the ground as it was the most painful conversation, he ever had with him.
Robbe closed his fists, peeking at the man walking towards into nowhere. He knew the pain in his chest was guilt for not believing to his greatest friend.
“See you tonight, Sebastian..” he whispered and let the wind rubbed on his skin.
