My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy - Chapter 265
Darkness devoured the sky as it caused panic and fear to the humankind. Every corner was difficult to see when people couldn’t see a bright light.
Inside of an empty classroom, Halora felt like she was imprisoned in an isolated place surrounded with dimness.
But one of the four corners, she was standing behind a door that could be easily ruined. No one could ever protect her from danger after the young alpha disappeared.
Her heartbeat suddenly became louder, making her dumb and terrified at the same moment.
“W-wh-why… why I can’t even move my feet and arms?” she stutteringly said, trying to crumple her hands with all of her strengths.
Fear drawn on her pale face when she ran out of ideas and plans. Until she felt a strong presence around, waiting for the perfect moment to kill her.
“Hahahaha! It’s been a long wait for all of us, Halora!” A woman’s voice echoed around that petrified her system.
She walked back and forth as she rubbed her perfect jawline. Damara came to the city with perfect strategies and plans.
If she has failed to get down the werewolves’ strong ally, then she has no other option to get rid the chosen witch as written in the prophecy.
“My proponents must be searching for him right now,” she murmured, walked closer to the table as she took the white chalk inside of a small drawer under it. “Should I use my ability to force you to get out?”
Halora remained silent while she thought of a better, successful plan. She must use the power of intelligence and manipulate her surroundings to beat the enemy without violence.
Eager to fly high like an eagle, she looked around and tried to find something that would distract Damara for a while.
If she used darkness to catch her alive, then she must use it as well as a weapon to addle and destroy her sweet, chaotic plans.
A bittersweet wide smile flushed on to her face. She quickly crawled into the small shelves of books and threw them into the front side of the room where Damara stood firm.
She was gasping for air when she did all her best to escape from a dangerous enemy with her.
And her ultimate mission was to put an end to the ruling of darkness for how many years. It was about time to change the living being’s perspectives in life.
Halora held tightly a thick book and threw it to the target’s way. She said, “You’re capable of ruining the world, but I am capable of stopping you first!”
Damara has still enough strength to avoid Halora’s attack. She grinned, looked for every corner and tried to locate the opponent.
“You can’t escape from here, Halora! And before I killed you, I must regain the ring of darkness you kept from me!”
Ambitions and lust of power pushed her to be more, to be vicious until she came out of control that could be easily fooled by a feisty little boy.
But she thought the ring was on Halora’s finger but it was only an imitation. Making traps unknowingly behind the enemies made a weak person to be more creative and stronger.
Just like Halora, she was born without knowing her real identity and purpose. And because of the bad people around her, she overcame everything until she turned into a grown-up woman possessing an extraordinary ability.
“And what will happen if I touch your hand and read your mind, Aunt Damara?” Halora asked her behind darkness.
She quickly changed positions that urged Damara to show her real power.
An eerie smile showed on her lips while she played with her manipulative fingers and hands. Unexpectedly, a ball of fire floated on her palms like it was an asteroid that came from the outer space.
She took a deep breath as she muttered words that shocked Halora from the other corner. “It’s showtime! Let’s see if you can still survive.”
Behind the cabinet of documents, Halora peeked and saw the ball of fire glowing. She gasped, gritted her teeth and looked around her.
On the right side, there were thirties empty chairs, on the opposite, there was nothing. Behind her was a wall but in front of her, there was a jar of water.
She closed her eyes, reminisced the good memories she’d shared with her parents. “Guide me, mother, father. Help me to overthrow Damara, right here and right now.”
Right then, the old, weak Halora has gone. She fearlessly stood and showed herself in front of Damara who seemed ready to attack.
She bowed her head to the ground, while the evil witch burst into a sarcastic laughter.
“I know you’re hiding there, young lady.”
“What are you waiting for? Throw that ball of fire and let the ring of darkness turned into ashes.” Said Halora with no signs of fear.
Her round, brown eyes twinkled differently like eclipse that appeared once in a blue moon.
And Damara couldn’t deny that she felt a strong, yet strange presence from the young woman before her eyes.
But she smirked, closed her eyes for a second and without hesitation she threw the ball of fire to Halora who was standing still.
“Die like your weak mother!” Damara screamed at the top of her lungs and without a blink of an eye.
The moment it landed to the floor, Halora escaped and she hurriedly grabbed the jar of water. She breathed heavily, laid her eyes on Damara and smiled over her shoulders.
“I am weaker than you, but I am honestly wiser.” Halora winked on her before she spilled the water into the floor that stopped the fire from burning the entire classroom.
“N-no! H-how… how did you manage to… to e-escape when I p-planned everything behind your b-ba-back?”
Defeat made her devastated. The will to kill the chosen savior slowly faded away every time she failed and committed mistakes.
“Kill me if you want, but I have allies behind my back.” Halora said and looked coldly into her dark eyes.
How could Damara succeed with her plans when she let her emotions swallowed her alive?
Is there any other way to stop Halora from being the queen or it would be the end of everything?
