My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 547: Bloodline Advancement
Just as Yuan was about to hand a few drops of his blood to Fang Xiaoyan, he noticed that her mother, father, and Grandma Fang were watching him with anticipation, their eyes fixed on the drops of blood.
“I guess I should give everyone some of my blood, but don’t expect too much, or I might pass out from blood loss,” Yuan said, a sheepish smile crossing his face before he handed each of them a few drops.
As soon as Yuan’s blood touched their sensitive tongues, they closed their eyes. It was as if they were tasting the most exquisite thing in the world. The flavor of Yuan’s blood exploded in their mouths, sending shivers down their spines.
They momentarily forgot everything else, completely absorbed in the sensation, their bodies tingling with excitement—all from a single drop of blood.
A few moments later, Fang Xiaoyan slowly opened her eyes, a mysterious smile gracing her beautiful face.
“This is the most exquisite thing I’ve ever tasted in my life! It gave me the strangest sensation… unlike anything I’ve ever felt before,” Fang Xiaoyan said, her affectionate gaze resting on Yuan.
Suddenly, her body became enveloped in a faint light. She felt a tingling sensation coursing through her, and her slightly brown eyes turned golden, glowing softly. Her fiery crimson hair also became more lustrous and vibrant.
“M—My bloodline… it’s purer now! Stronger than before! I can feel it… it’s become so pure!” Fang Xiaoyan was in disbelief, her eyes wide as she sensed the changes in her body.
“Not only did it strengthen your bloodline, but it also increased your cultivation a little,” Grandpa Fang said calmly, though inwardly, he was just as surprised by the effect of Yuan’s blood.
Fang Hao opened his eyes and shared his own experience. “Such an exquisite taste and such powerful effects… Your blood can’t be just Royal-grade. From my perspective, it’s beyond Divine grade.”
‘Does hubby’s blood really taste that good?’ Xi Meili wondered to herself as she observed their reactions, curiosity piqued.
Meanwhile, Grandma Fang and Fang Ling were suddenly surrounded by a golden light. Without a word, they sat in the lotus position and began to cultivate.
Within seconds, waves of spiritual energy rippled from their bodies, causing a small wind to pick up inside the room, even though the windows and doors were closed. Soon, their bodies began to emit smoke, and their temperatures soared to nearly 300 degrees Celsius, with their veins visibly pulsating beneath their skin.
“T-This… Don’t tell me this is Bloodline Advancement!” Grandpa Fang’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
“Bloodline Advancement? What’s that?” Fang Xiaoyan asked, her face full of concern as she looked at her mother and grandmother.
Grandpa Fang stared at his wife and daughter-in-law for a moment before responding. “Bloodline Advancement is an extremely rare and almost impossible phenomenon where spiritual beasts can elevate their bloodline through a rigorous process, potentially becoming Divine Beasts.”
“Isn’t that amazing? They’ll be able to live longer and grow stronger!” Fang Xiaoyan said excitedly.
However, Grandpa Fang shook his head. “Even if they advance their bloodline, they won’t automatically become Divine Beasts. To do that, they’ll have to face the Heavenly Tribulation.”
“Heavenly Tribulation?” Fang Xiaoyan’s excitement faded into worry.
“Yes, it’s a serious trial. They might perish or be severely wounded for life. But if they manage to survive it, they’ll shed their old form and become Divine Beasts,” Grandpa Fang explained, addressing not just Fang Xiaoyan but also Yuan and his wives.
“Is it really that dangerous?” Fang Xiaoyan asked, her voice full of panic.
“It is,” Grandpa Fang said, though his expression softened as a smile appeared on his face. “Thankfully, we’re inside a Secret Realm, separate from the Nine Heavens, so we don’t have to worry about the Heavenly Lightning.”
“Oh, thank goodness…” Fang Xiaoyan sighed in relief.
Minutes later, the golden light around Grandma Fang and Fang Ling intensified, and something about them seemed to refine and transform.
Fang Ling’s hair turned completely black and lustrous, and her skin became healthier, as though she had regained her youth. If she stood next to Fang Xiaoyan, one might mistake them for sisters rather than mother and daughter.
Grandma Fang, too, appeared much younger. The wrinkles on her face and hands disappeared entirely, her skin smooth and youthful as if she were in her early thirties, though she still carried the aura of a grandmother despite her renewed appearance.
A few seconds later, both Grandma Fang and Fang Ling slowly opened their eyes, bright smiles spreading across their faces.
“Thank you, thank you, young man, for giving us a drop of your blood. Because of it, we’ve managed to advance our bloodlines and become Divine Beasts. You have our utmost gratitude,” Grandma Fang said, bowing slightly to Yuan in thanks.
“Indeed,” Fang Ling added with a warm smile. “Yuan, because of you, we’ve both finally become Divine Beasts. You have no idea how great a favor you’ve done for us. Your blood was like a blessing.”
“You don’t need to thank me, Auntie Fang, Grandma Fang. You’ve both done so much for me; this is the least I can do to repay your kindness,” Yuan said with a gentle smile.
“That won’t do, Yuan,” Fang Ling replied, her expression suddenly stern. “As thanks, we’ll give you our daughter, and you can’t say no to this!”
“Indeed. I think it’s a great idea to offer Xiaoyan to you as a token of our gratitude,” Grandma Fang agreed with a wide grin.
Fang Hao nodded as well. “I fully support this idea. That way, we can have our grandchild sooner.”
“And from the looks of it, Yuan’s got quite the stamina in bed,” Fang Hao added with a chuckle, glancing at Yuan’s wives, who exchanged puzzled looks. “The number of women he has says everything about his appetite!”
“Fufu~ Young men do tend to have good stamina,” Grandpa Fang chuckled, shaking his head. “When I married your grandmother, I was quite the expert at ‘bedroom songs,’ too.”
“Fufu~ Then why don’t you entertain me tonight, you useless thing? I’m sure you’re feeling quite energetic after drinking my grandson-in-law’s blood…” Grandma Fang said with a creepy grin.
Hearing this, Grandpa Fang froze, sweat forming on his brow as he quickly made an excuse. “Ouch! My back—it’s acting up! Sorry, old witch, but I won’t be able to entertain you tonight.”
“I don’t understand what you’re saying,” Grandma Fang retorted, her tone icy. “I’ll be waiting, and if you don’t show up in my bedroom tonight, then forget about staying in the house!”
Watching the family’s antics, Yuan suddenly glanced at Emma and realized something.
‘Since Grandma Fang and Auntie Fang were able to advance their bloodlines and become Divine Beasts after drinking my blood, could Emma awaken her Beast Bloodline the same way?’ he wondered.
‘I should test this. If Emma can’t fully awaken her bloodline with my blood, I’ll use the drop of Phoenix blood I’ve stored in my system,’ Yuan thought seriously.
However, having already lost a significant amount of blood, Yuan realized he couldn’t make another cut to give blood to Emma without risking fainting from blood loss. After thinking for a moment, he decided to wait a day to recover before attempting to awaken Emma’s bloodline.
That night, after dinner, Yuan gathered his wives and explained everything—the mysterious black space, the sudden disappearance of his cultivation, and the masked phantom who led him to the Lord’s training ground, where he first met Fang Xiaoyan.
He then demonstrated the Sword Aura he had learned by covering his hand with it, forming an invisible sword.
“So this is Sword Aura…” Valeria mumbled, fascinated. “What a strange feeling. If I touched it, I feel like my hand would be sliced into a thousand pieces…”
As a warrior, Valeria was instantly intrigued by the Sword Aura and wanted to learn it herself. She had wielded swords for most of her life, but this was unlike anything she had ever experienced—it felt almost beyond human.
“Do you know how to learn it?” Valeria asked, her eyes shining with anticipation.
Yuan thought for a moment, unsure how to answer without disappointing her. After a pause, he said, “Well, I’m not exactly sure how to learn it myself, but I think it comes from mastering your sword skills with focus and an unwavering heart. Swing your sword with your heart.”
“I see… Then starting tomorrow, I’ll add another hour to my training,” Valeria said excitedly.
“Well, it’s not just about more training,” Yuan remarked with a chuckle. “It’s about improvement—focus on that, rather than just swinging the sword.”
“I got it,” Valeria laughed and kissed him gently on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Yuan smiled, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and returned the kiss passionately. The kiss lingered for five minutes before they finally parted.
After ending his passionate embrace with Valeria, Yuan turned his attention to his other wives, who were watching him with predatory gazes, as if eyeing their prey.
Yuan swallowed nervously, feeling the intensity of their stares. Gently, he pulled Anna and Grace into his arms, wrapping his hands around their waists. He pressed his lips against Anna’s first, kissing her passionately for a few minutes before turning to Grace and kissing her with the same passion.
They stayed like that, wrapped in tender moments, for the next few minutes before finally separating.
Afterward, Yuan kissed each of his wives passionately, one after another, before they all lay down together, falling asleep. It was their first time sharing a bed since arriving in the Secret Realm.
