My Ceo Harem Cultivation System - Chapter 296: A Lost Traveler (4)
It wasn’t so often that Observers came to join in because of a certain woman that caught their eyes. Most of them were rooting for one lone individual alone when LSO suddenly placed the scenario forward.
The vast majority of Observers came in order to place their fantasies on a single individual deemed and esteemed above most—the having the coveted CEO title and a personality more icier than a block of ice… but the newcomer Vampire suddenly got some support.
A woman stuck in a no man’s land all by herself with no company?
It reminded an Observer of herself.
No.
It reminded two Observers of themselves.
Stranded in a place where they were to be separated from other people—it wasn’t a surprise to Peach that Circe, Calypso and even Chang’e suddenly joined in at last. Most of those that lingered each had their own purposes, be it entertainment or in hopes of more. Stories that touched one heart and soul, or something that alleviated the bleakness of existence… to each one their own.

Li Yang frowned at the new incomers and the sudden Quest that gained much backing but kept his face blank.
It was difficult to understand how these changes came to be when there was still a preceding Quest and yet he didn’t question it if it could help him.
Quests meant Points. Points that delivered power and if it were true that he was bound to get restricted sometime soon due to the Patch Update? Then it was time for him to obtain as much as he could and then do a bulk of purchases.
… and yet what were they even proposing for him to do?
It wasn’t quite him who they were reaching out to.
Li Yang felt the world around him shift once more—as Elizabeth grabbed ahold of his sleeve and then said, “If you’re still not about to depart. How about visiting my dwellings for a moment?”
It was another of those sensations again that felt gravitatingly hard to deal with—because it pulled him to approach her and stay.
Gone were the eerie and lingering shadows that made his skin crawl and neither did the unnatural paleness of her skin made him recoil. The way her dark hair fell in waves beckoned him forward to experience how the soft long dark curls were to touch.
Li Yang thought it was easy to get out of this now that he experienced it before, but it didn’t happen. Whether it was her silken tone or the way that her eyes glinted at him and evoked dark desires within him… it was no enchantment.
This was her very own nature exuded naturally.
Bewitching was a good word to describe her and the Vampire had it in spades.
His own body moved and his mind slipped at this hour. “Unfortunately again, I do not think I can stay here any longer. This is once again your attempt to hinder me, I cannot go for another postponement—”
Li Yang bit down his tongue hard and tasted the blood in his mouth. But it was a lot better than getting dragged into another one of the ancient acts of colloquy.
That was until Elizabeth pulled down his sleeve harder, shredding it in one go, and pressing her lips into his at that moment.
Someone else might have called it a kiss, except for the fact that Elizabeth greedily plunged her tongue into his mouth and began to feed.
The Vampire’s vice-like grip was unwavering as her eyes fluttered to a close. The delectable taste of his blood on her tongue was such sweet relish—she couldn’t help it.
No, Elizabeth decided to do it regardless of the consequences.
Her fang grazed slightly across the tip of his tongue and she bit down ever so slightly to procure more of his blood. There was a soft moan that lingered around her throat as she enjoyed it to her heart’s content—before quickly withdrawing away from him.
The feverish desire for his blood was assuaged slightly now that she tasted him, but Elizabeth knew that she was bound to want for more. The Vampire immediately raised a hand to her face and covered it abashed.
“A-ah, oh my… it seems like I may have jumped on you. Pardon the intrusion in your mouth’s cavern.” Elizabeth would have said more, but she was still savoring the taste of his blood on her mouth.
Li Yang stared at the Vampire who ripped off the sleeve of his suit and then pinched the bridge of his nose. It was almost like Luo Ju Di over again, except this time, this was just a Vampire feeding on him.
“You know, your apologies for your act is not really that convincing to me,” Li Yang said. “You don’t look sorry at all. If there was another chance… you would have done this again, wouldn’t you?”
Elizabeth peeked at him from the space in between her fingers. Her red eyes looked at him a bit widened and she cleared her throat. “Er, is my grand and alluring presence not enough for you to look past my transgressions when I’ve already said my apologies?”
“Not really,” Li Yang said. “At least, I don’t want to think that most people who are beautiful or handsome get a pass at everything they’ve done.”
“But I spared you because you were beautiful!” Elizabeth protested at last. “Before this Panda arrived and your nature was revealed, you were within my rights to kill and even the ones from above cannot do anything as the very land you stand on is my ancestral domain.”
“… Does that mean you would have killed me on sight if I wasn’t easy on your eyes?”
“The owls and creatures of the dark would have feasted on you. You’d be the perfect fertilizer for my plants.”
