My Ceo Harem Cultivation System - Chapter 300: Cats and Fish
“Mmm, Blue Fish. You’re delish…” Taiga mumbled in her sleep and stretched on the floor lazily. The Tigress Spirit’s tail wagged in front of Narissa’s face and nose, but the Mermaid didn’t seem to notice.
Narissa stared at the Tigress’s perky butt far longer than she wanted to admit, before she groaned and looked at her phone. “Damn it, I told Yang to come pick you up. Why isn’t he here yet? Did he sleep too much with Lifen?”
There was the fact that Li Yang needed Narissa’s powers before, but the Mermaid wanted to think that the man just used her water powers to function as some kind of liquid lube or something more benign.
It was hard to know something but not have the complete answers to everything.
… At least, Narissa did not want to pry as to why the man was once located in another completely new part of the ocean. If the man was actually going out to swim—then Li Yang should have at least used some of her knowledge and expertise.
“Don’t you know that cats sleep from twelve to sixteen hours?” Taiga blinked and stifled a yawn. The Tigress Spirit lazily sat up and rubbed her eyes before looking at the Mermaid. “Taiga needs a lot of rest.”
“…Do not fool me and spare me from your lies.” Bai Minghua stared at the Tigress plainly as she remembered her own conversation with Sun Aoyun in the past. “I am aware that cultivators can use meditation in lieu of sleep, but somehow, you still prefer sleep.”
“Tell me honestly, Blue Fish. What kind of idiot would prefer meditating over sleep?” Taiga scratched at her belly and then averted her gaze. “While it’s true that you can gather qi while you meditate, refine it, purify your meridians and flush out icky stuff… naps are amazing. Taiga doesn’t have to think.”
“…” Narissa sighed and rubbed her face. “Forget that I asked.”
Taiga leapt eagerly to her feet. “What’s for breakfast?”
“I want to say that I doubt that you need to eat either—but why deny yourself delicious food, am I right?” Narissa gave the Tigress Spirit a plain smile. It said everything and nothing at the same time. The Mermaid did not accept this ‘harem’ to be some babysitter for Li Yang.
“You know how to read Taiga’s mind now.” Taiga grinned at her.
It was the kind of grin that lit up spirits and joy. Narissa stared at the Tigress for a moment as a thought flashed in her mind and she quickly wondered what kind of insanity possessed her—but Narissa had a gut feeling.
“You know, if you were to start a Live Streaming show on some social media platform or video sharing content site… I think you would be popular.”
“Why is that?” Taiga tilted her head.
“Do a rawr thing.” Narissa coughed. “That is to say use the word ‘roar’ cutely and pretend to be trying to scare a viewer.”
“What would Taiga even get out of that?” Taiga lifted a brow.
“You could become extremely wealthy if the algorithm works in your favor,” Narissa said. “People like to spend their time watching anything to temporarily fill in the voids of their hearts and mind—and that is where someone or something can profit by even moderately being entertaining.”
“You mean Taiga will have enough money to buy things like you?”
Narissa stared at the Tigress, who was undoubtedly someone who could take in her ‘third-person’ self reference voice, cheerful personality and gorgeous looks and cater to a specific niche of people who happened to like cat girls.
Nobody would actually be able to tell if the cat tail and ears were fake or not in the advent of photoshop, video editing skills and other animations to portray a specific persona or archetype in people’s mind.
“Blue Fish?”
“Yes—Yes, if things do happen to actually work out well and you become a sensation overnight, and I do not see why not, I can invest in some advertisements and such for you… then there’s a high chance that you’ll profit even more than me.”
Narissa didn’t actually like the thought of someone earning more than her—but that was how different the internet influencer life was to an idol with contracts like her.
What Narissa did like though, was using her intellect, knowledge of social media and rapport to build an identity that could stun the world.
Narissa could see it now. Once Taiga was popular and well-loved, Narissa could also use the platform to promote herself. It wouldn’t be so terrible to actually work with the cat as long as it was on camera—Narissa, or rather, Bai Minghua was a professional.
“Um, that sounds very nice and all… but Taiga is actually very busy.” Taiga scratched her ear and averted her gaze.
“Busy doing what?” Narissa raised a brow.
“Taiga will probably be the Bossman’s bodyguard again. At least, that’s what Taiga promised to herself if she ever sees Li Yang again and makes sure that he’s okay.” Taiga flashed the other woman a smile. “There won’t be any mistakes this time.”
“I see…”
It made things extremely harder for Narissa to really say what she noticed happened last night and the fact that the man was currently in the sea of Japan—and was only rushing back to Shanghai.
“Do you think it’s stupid?” Taiga asked. There was no smile on her face and neither was there any offense either, there was just a hint of worry and concern on Taiga’s expression.
“No. Not at all.” Narissa raised her hand and shook her head. “I mean, I probably would have a lot to say if there’s nothing else going on your plate besides being around the man twenty-four seven, but… you know, if that’s what makes you happy too? I guess that’s alright.”
“Does it mean that you don’t want to always be with the Bossman? I thought—er, Taiga thought you liked him too.” Taiga frowned slightly at the Mermaid.
“Even if I do like a person, it doesn’t mean that I’d dedicate the entirety of my hours and days to be with him.” Narissa rested her chin on her palm. “I mean, do you imagine the rest of us having orgies for every second of the day until the end of time?”
Taiga’s face suddenly turned bright red. “Wha—what are you talking about… Taiga and Bossman, with you? And everyone else? Taiga likes it when it’s just her and Bossman.”
“So you’re vanilla,” Narissa bit back a small amused smile from twitching on her lips.
“Is there anything wrong with that?” Taiga pouted.
“No. No. No. Stay cute and innocent as you are.”

Author’s Note: Fantasy makes things everything better because they can let us wear rose-colored filters to show things far beyond our expectation. I recently received feedback that it’s best not to depict uh, realistic sex because it can frankly be boring and awkward. That much is probably true for those who have encounters where say, a person simply lies down and let expects the other to do all the work. One doer and one receiver and that always being the default position. Naturally. That sounds terrible. Discuss with your partner if you’re having trouble with that.
So uh… yeah, fantasy with mind-blowing orgasms and sex that happens for a year. I’m still going for a healthy middle. Hopefully, to not have people expectations be ruined if they base and measure their sexual encounters from what they read. But I guess that’s why 2D waifu ] 3D waifu still reigns supreme to others. But it does make sense that a goddess wouldn’t be satisfied for only an hour? Ack.
