My Dads A Celebrity - 7 Visit 2
After calming down his parents looked to him for help which Teddy side and turned to his little chipmunk who was currently burying her head in his neck trying to hide from her newly acquired grandparents. “Chipmunk could you try giving your grandma and grandpa another chance they were just excited to meet their new cute granddaughter.”
Beth moved her head out of his neck looking over at her new grandparents being indecisive she didn’t know if it was a good idea to accept them, but since her father said it was okay she will try. Looking at them she gave a small wave towards them, which nearly sent their hearts into over drive but they were able to keep it together and not rush at her making her smile. “Grandpa and Grandma not scary, daddy right.”
Theodore was so close to pulling out the candy again but his wife held his hand down as not to blow their second chance, it was taking a miracle for Teddy not to laugh. Done with the little comedy skit the family moved to take the Town car back when they finally saw they were getting weird stares from other people around them.
On the ride to the house his mother turned to him from the front not even minding that Beth was there and stared at him, “What about her mother? Do you love her? Are you together? you know I don’t want some one night stand crap so tell me the truth.”
Teddy knew his mother was very traditional and wouldn’t tolerate any nonsense like that, “Umm her mom is currently away for work… no I don’t love her–+–” before he could finish his daughter interrupted him with tears in her eyes.
“Daddy you don’t love mommy? Does that mean you won’t stay with me?.” She was so close to tears that if he said one wrong word the flood gates would break. It didn’t help either that his mother was also staring daggers at him.
“No sweetheart, I will always be with you and I might not live your mother now but someday I will.” Although he said that he wasn’t sure if she was the one for him.
Beth looked at him with tears still in the corner of his eyes, “Promise?” she said sticking out her pinky finger something her mother taught her could never be broken of course Teddy knew nothing about this.
“Of course.” he said twinning their fingers together, lucky they made it to the house before she could say anymore and his mother was satisfied with answer so she left it alone.
The house they pulled up to was a moderate sized one with a huge balcony standing on the third level, it was just basically a beach house but instead it was surrounded by a field. It was weird with the name CoCo Bay, California you would think they would live on the coast but this place was actually named ironically since it was the only place in a hundred miles that didn’t have a beach coast.
Teddy carried Beth to the house while the servants carried their bags inside, while he was in a rush to get his career started he couldn’t do anything until the house in the Hamptons was done being renovated. Beth was excited after seeing the house because she wanted to sit on the balcony and have a tea party like she did with her mom back in New, York in their highrise apartment.
Teddy was getting ready to go off and play with her somewhere but stopped hearing his mother’s words, “Ahh I forgot to say your sisters will be coming later tonight too since they also found time off to come to my birthday, finally all my children will be together.”
It wasn’t that he didn’t like his sister but that since he was the youngest he was always teased by them it didn’t help either that they stayed single until now and basically treated him like it was his fault. Sighing he accepted his fate it might not be his body but he did get all the memories so he could clearly remember how he was treated by them and wasn’t looking forward to it.
Beth oblivious to his tormenting thoughts tugged his ear, “Daddy come on tea party.”
