My Destined Werewolf Mate - Chapter 192
“WOAHHHH!”
As soon as Eva stepped into the sumptuously furnished giant room holding Zeus’s arm, she dropped her jaw gasping in awe. The room was elegantly core interior designed as a luxurious suite with giant glass fenestrations facing the beautiful blue sea view. Soft cottony white clouds were racked on the blue sky which was gorgeously visible from the room. The fresh breeze of summer breeze was whirling inside with the white cotton curtains swirling in the air. Beside the magnanimous deluxe bed, a bunch of fresh red roses was placed on a beautifully crafted wooden vase. The view was quite heavenly which further startled Eva from her core.
“Did you like it?” Glancing at her surprised face with a tender smile on his face, Zeus wrapped his arms around her shoulder asking softly.
“I…I am speechless! This place…this view…everything is so beautiful, Zeus!” Chuckling with a wide simper, she sounded pretty delighted. Gently, she walked a few steps ahead towards the giant windows and enjoyed the scenic beauty ethereally.
She was glancing all-around at the sea, the beach lost in the beauty of nature. Soon enough, he followed her slowly from behind and fondly hugged her from the back, resting his chin on her soft shoulder.
“I am glad…I could bring you here. This is my favorite place, Eva.” He rustled.
“I am amazed, it seemed you had beautifully plotted to surprise me by bringing here, didn’t you? Were you always this romantic kind of person or I am a special case?” She poked his cheek with the tip of her nose, trying to tease him tenderly.
“Of course I had to plan everything perfectly before bringing my loved one. Also, I had specially designed our room as a dreamy suite.” He whispered softly, locking his grip around her waist from behind.
“Our room?” Curiously, she inquired him.
“I had already promised you, Eva, I am going to stick annoyingly closer to you always. So there’s no way, we gonna use separate rooms till we are here. Besides, this will be our love nest.” A sly small chuckle escaped from his lips while reciprocating as he nestled his chin on her shoulder.
“Love nest?” Hearing his honest declamation, she seemed flustered in embarrassment, standing frozen within his warm embrace. Her cheeks and ears were turning red with the peak of shyness as she quickly sneaked a glance at the deluxe royal bed of that room.
“Just now, you thought of something perverted by glimpsing at our bed, didn’t you?” Cheekily, he tried to pull her leg tightening his grip around her.
“What? Wh..What are you saying!?” Turning into a shy goofball, she was fidgeting in his arms trying hard to hide her bashful appearance from him.
“Though you are denying, we both know you just thought about something, right?”
“No, I didn’t…”
“Ahh…I know you are just lying–”
“C’mon, you are making me shyer…” Her lips were quivering as she was averting her gaze away from him while bickering with him fondly.
“Pfftt,” he chuckled emitting a warm huff of air as he rested his head on her shoulder holding her tight. Both of them seemed to be yearning for their lovable serene moments for a long time which was evident from their sincere soft gestures.
“Zeus, my heart feels so happy to be with you again… By staying apart from you for the time being…it made me realize, I just…can’t live without you… Your scent…your presence…everything soothes my broken soul.” She rested her head over his grimace, closing her eyes while mumbling in a delicate tone, caressing his arm.
“And I am gonna make sure, we never have to be apart again… Thank you, for coming back to me, Eva.” Placing a soft kiss of eternal promise on her forehead, he whispered in her ears nuzzling closer.
.
(KNOCK KNOCK)
All of a sudden, hearing the sudden door knocking sound interrupting their soothing moment, they turned their gazes at the back impertinently. Unleashing her from his strong grip, he proclaimed out in a loud voice, “who is it?”
The door opened partially as both of them witnessed Lady Olie standing at the doorstep holding a white silk cloth cloaked food tray. She had a small mysterious simper on her face ogling at both of them.
“Lady Olie?” Zeus walked a step ahead of Eva, narrowing his gaze at her.
“Master…I am a bit late…but I bet, you both must be quite starving after such a long drive up to here. Here, I prepared super delicious spaghetti with bacon steak for both of you. Please savor it.” Steadily, she walked into the room while responding to him cordially towards the small table that was etiquette placed for their meal purpose.
While she was meekly communicating with Zeus, Eva had her sharp gaze following her around in the room. Though she was smiling and seemed pretty normal, something off about her poked her inner worriments.
“Eva, come with me,” Tenderly grabbing her hand, he led her walking towards the table before cordially letting her grab the seat first. Olie was standing beside them serving the dishes on the table following proper etiquette manners.
While she grabbed the seat, sneakily she took a small glimpse at her. Indeed, she seemed somehow a little different to her from their first meet at the entrance. Her face seemed quite pale as if she was seeming a bit bloodless!
Her lips were looking extraordinarily reddish and much plump which wasn’t evident at their first encounter. As far she remembered, she had chapped lips which seemed quite different from now on. She had wrinkles fringed on both the sides of her eyes which had completely disappeared! Moreover, she seemed a bit younger from their first encounter that happened a few moments ago.
Lost in her appearance, Eva frowned her face gawking at her intensively. Olie could feel her sharp gaze hovering on her and fidgeting a bit nervously, she shifted her glance at her asking timidly, “Mi…Milady… Do you need something…from me?”
Not only she, but Zeus could also perceive her intense gaze locked on her as he was glimpsing at her. Tenderly tapping her arm once on the table, he whispered, “Eva, is there something wrong?”
“She seems…quite different from earlier… Am I overthinking or…something is really wrong?” She gulped, wondering inside her anguished mind silently.
“Eva!?”
“Huh?”
Flinched at his sudden loud call, Eva averted her glance away from her and perplexedly peered at him. From his facial appearance, he seemed quite concerned about her sudden absurd silence.
“Eva, are you feeling sick? What happened?” He asked her again, this time pressing her arm firmly.
“Umm…no…it’s nothing…” Dubiously she shook her head in denial trying to suppress her inner turmoils from him. “Zeus has earnestly planned this vacation just for me… I mustn’t spoil our trip here. He said they all are his trustworthy people, so…I…I must be really thinking too much! Before I reach any decision, I should try to observe her a bit more. I shouldn’t ruin our blissful time with my irrational assumptions!” She tried to calm herself down wondering inside while gulping some water from the glass.
“Milady…are you alright? Are you having any inconvenience here with my serving?” She quivered anxiously resembling quite restless.
“It’s nothing, Lady Olie. I was just…lost in some thoughts…Don’t fret about it,” she tried to divert the topic tossing a small fake smile so that Zeus won’t be too concerned for her again. Though she tried to act serene, she was being a little restless around her which he could evidently notice.
“Eva must be hiding something from me… what is it this time?” He exhaled a heavy sigh out, thinking inside.
“I had assumed her to be a naive fool but…I guess…she is way too sharp in observing others! She must have noticed something different in me! Damn! I can’t get caught here off guard… I gotta win her trust first before wrapping up my mission here.
No matter what, I won’t let my brother die because of you…little wench!” She murmured deep inside her mind, narrowing her fiery gaze at her sneakily.
…….
“Do you even have the idea what rubbish you are spitting out now?” Crossing her arms over her chest, she leaned her back against the chair tossing her glare towards Eric who seemed badly anxious before her.
“I…I know what I am uttering… Liking someone…isn’t a crime…” Scraping his neck with a bashful expression, he mumbled out.
“You like me? We have barely met two times before! I even smacked at your abdomen pining you down last day! After all these…how can you like me after witnessing my harsh response for you? What do you even know about me?” She grumbled out, clinching the glass of scotch in her grasp.
“I am sorry…if…my confession made things more awkward between us. But…I just wanted to be straightforward with you.” Fidgeting his fingertips, he tried to defend himself nervously. “Also…it took me…barely five seconds to fall in love with you when our eyes met for the first time—”
“I love someone else.” Before he could wrap his words, all of a sudden Ivory declaimed her verdict boldly, staring at him invincibly.
“Wh-What?” Startled at her answer, he stuttered.
