Their fathers are so happy to see their sons become best-friend like them.
Juno and Sam played together in the house happily with lots of excitements. When time comes to have dinner, Sam and Juno sat next to each-other on the dining chair, and their parents sat beside them.
After a while Sohee saw her son is not eating the food properly hence she started to feed him the food on his plate. Juno looked at them with a longing feelings that when he’ll receive such love and care from his mother.
Young-soo noticed that Juno was looking at Sam’s mother with longing feelings for mother’s love. He lifted Juno from his place and made him sit down on his lap; he kissed his cheek, and feeds the food to him. But Juno was kept on looking at Sam and his mother. Young-soo cheered him up by saying “Juno, come-on lets feed the dinner to one-another.”
Juno nodded his head in acceptance, and feeds a spoonful of rice to his father. To make Juno smile Young-soo teased him by bringing the piece of meat next to his mouth, when Juno opened his mouth to have the meat piece Young-soo quickly had the meet piece without feeding it to Juno.
Juno laughed and did the same to his father.
Young-soo was relieved once he heard the laughter sound of his son.
That night after returning to their house, Young-soo lay down on the bed next to his son who was sound as sleeping. He gave a kiss on Juno’s forehead, and whispered. “I’m sorry Juno for making you longing for mother’s love. I can understand that you are so curious to know where your mother is, but I hope that you’ll understand everything of your own when you grow older. Even when you get to know about your birth history I strongly believe that any kind of crack will not appear in our father son relationship. I love you Juno more than anything else in this world.”
One day while Juno and Sam playing at Lee’s residence. They went into the store room and there they saw lots of waste things, such as cardboard boxes, wooden boxes, and some old classic furniture. Juno first opened one of the cardboard box; in that there were some old toys. As they saw some toys they were so curious and excited to know what has got inside those rests of the boxes. When they opened the wooden boxes they saw photo albums and a medium size laminated photo; it was Young-soo and Eunbi’s wedding photo, and they took that out from the wooden box.
Juno looked at the photo with a questioning look and thought, who is that woman that was standing next to his father in that photo.
Sam pointed his index finger at Eunbi in that photo and asked Juno “Yeah, is this your mother?”
“I don’t know,” Juno, replied him innocently.
“I think this ajumma is your mother, because my parents also have the same types of photo in our house. One day when I asked my mother why I was not with them in that picture. My mother answered me that it’s their wedding picture so when they took that picture I was not born at that time. Therefore, I think it’s your parents wedding picture and see you were not with them in this picture.” Sam explained.
“Is it so, then the person next to my father in this photo is my mother? Come let’s go and ask it to my grandmother.” Juno said and took that picture and went to clarify their doubts with his grandmother.
Mrs. Lee was cleaning the leaves of the indoor bonsai plant in her room, as she heard the knock on the door she and said, “Yes come in.” She saw Juno and Sam and asked them, “What happened, Juno and what you are carrying in your hands?”
Juno walked near to his grandmother, showed the photo to her. Mrs. Lee was shocked to see Young-soo’s wedding picture in his hands, and asked him, “From where did you got this photo, Juno?”
“We took this photo from the store room, halmeoni.” He pointed Eunbi in that photo,
“halmeoni, is this my mother?”
Mrs. Lee doesn’t know what to answer to Juno but she has to tell him the truth before he creates any kind of affection to Eunbi by thinking that she was his mother, “No, Juno she is not your mother.”
Juno gave her a sad look, and cried, “I know she is my mother, halmeoni is lying to me.”
Mrs. Lee went near to Juno lift him up in her arms, and wiped the tears from his face, “I’m not lying to you Juno, what I said is the truth.”
“No, I don’t believe your words, you are lying to me. I’ll ask it to my appa, because appa will not lie to me now let me down, halmeoni.”
Mrs. Lee let him down as by his wish, and tried to compromise him, but before she utter a word to him he ran out of her room, and bumped with his father.
As Young-soo saw the tears from his sons face, he lifted Juno in his arms and inquired, “What happened why you are crying?”
Juno showed the photo to his father and asked him the same questions which he’s asked to his grandmother.
Young-soo was stumbled on Juno’s question, and said, “No Juno, she is not you mother.”
Juno was so upset to hear the same answer also from his father, “appa, you are also lying to me like halmeoni, I hate you, appa. I know she is my mother, I want to meet my mother right now, please take me to my mother.”
Young-soo and his parents were tried to compromise Juno but Juno didn’t listened to their words. Usually Juno was such an understanding child, but they don’t know why he’s not listening to their words at this matter.”
As he was kept on crying continuously, Young-soo managed to comprise by saying that he’ll take him to meet his mother, and put him to sleep. However that night he got high fever, and he was taken to the hospital for the treatments.
Young-soo was way too worried about Juno’s health, and he couldn’t able to see his son suffer for mother’s love, therefore he asked his mother to take care of his son, and he went to meet Eunbi at her residence.
