My Journey Of Hunter X Hunter - Chapter 24

Last time on My Journey of Hunter x Hunter…

Silence filled the air and to escape from boredom, I glanced around. My eyes fell on Hisoka, just laying there, on the side of the boat (well, he was sitting but I think you know what I mean). His eyes were closed and his arms crossed as his pink hair stood on its end as always.

Hisoka is one of my least favourite characters but seeing him in reality and up close makes him look interesting as well as deadly.

Just as I was about to turn away from him, he looks at me, probably feeling my eyes on him. Panicking, I slip my hood over my face and my hair too to try to make myself disappear but sadly, I think I made it worse.

I feel something tugging at my clothes and checking to see what, I find Hisoka’s bungee gum and his alluring smile.

What have I done now?

I sit still whilst being dragged across the floor of the board to where Hisoka is chilling. I don’t look at him straight away until he speaks.

“So, what is your name?”

“W-Who? Me? I’m Freeze Kill.” I extend a very shaky hand out.

He reaches for my hand and grabs it. I grimace as his nails dig slightly into the top of my wrist.

“Nice to meet you.” I smile nervously.

“Why uh…did you pull me over here?” I say, without even thinking.

“You looked interesting~” He smirked his iconic Hisoka smile.

“Oh….” I tried to shift away. I’m not going to lie, he gives me some crazy creepy vibes.

“So…why did you take the Hunter Exam?” I say without thinking, again.

“Hmm?” Hisoka looks at me.

“Oh okay…” I sit in silence.

Suddenly, the boat stops moving, the plank is lowered and the pink haired girl thanks us for our patience.

We all stand up.

“You’ll be leaving the boat from the ones who completed the last phase the quickest to the slowest. Each one of you will be leaving in 2 minute intervals. You’ll be on the island exactly one week, that means you only have 7 days to collect your 6 points and return to this same location.”

By the way, I got #145 which is…I don’t know actually, haha. Guess I’ll be spending the first few hours figuring out my target hah.

As I finish thinking this, I see that Hisoka is the first one on the island. Then, the second person goes which…oh…I forgot…it’s HIM!!! You know, Killua’s brother in disguise – IlLuMi.

If I get to be in this world long enough, I want to have a chance in killing him with my nen but for now, I’ll leave it as that.

By the time, it is my turn to go it’s already sundown and I’m the last one to go.

“The 25th person may go.”

“Good luck!” The lady behind me says.

I need the luck in this phase because I don’t know what will happen or who I’ll meet along the way. Wish me luck that I make it out of here alive.
