My Journey Of Hunter X Hunter - Chapter 33

“Okay. So, my plan is to throw water on that guy.” I whisper to Killua as I tell him my plan whilst watching one of the contestants we found hanging around.

“That’s your idea of a prank?” Killua looks at me with a funny look.

“Well…yeah…that’s the first thing that came to mind when I thought of pranks. I don’t usually play pranks on people often.” Or at all.

“Hmm…” Killua thinks.

“Could you get me a couple of branches and some leaves?” Killua says.

“Sure.” I say, knowing that a prank is underway.

I get the items together in a reasonable time and proceed to give it to Killua who I spot on the ground, near the contestant we’re supposed to prank.

I land next to him.

“Here.” I place the branches, twigs and leaves I collected on the floor next to Killua.

“Alright. My plan is to trap someone using the leaves by digging a deep hole and just waiting for them to fall in. This area is the most common spot for others to walk by so it shouldn’t take long before a dummy falls for the trap.” Killua explains.

“Also, we’ll need about 10X more leaves than this.” He looks at the little pile of leaves that’s laying sadly, watching at us like we’re Titans.

“Ah right. I’ll go get the stuff.” I walk away to get as much leaves as possible.

By the time I’m done, Killua has already dug a summer big hole that could host all the contestsants of the current Hunter Exam.

“Wow. Impressive work.” I compliment him.

Typical Killua to respond to that…like that.

We place all the twigs and branches on top of the hole as a team (Yes!) and placed the leaves on top and around the surrounding area so that people don’t think that this is a trap.

After setting everything up, we hide behind a nearby tree and wait for someone to idly walk by.

“There.” Killua whispers as one contestant walks towards the trap. The person stops and looks around and then keeps on walking forward and step, plop, he’s down the hole.

“Yes!” Me and Killua shout out.

That didn’t take long.

“So, what now?” I ask.

“Off to our next prank.” Killua smirks.

“Ready when you are.” I smile, happy to know that I have a good ally by my side (and an assassin at that). I hope Killua and I become great friends from now on. I think we would make a pretty great team.
