My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar - Chapter 207
Yun Jhin gazed at the severed hand he kept in time stasis he was almost back at the headquarters of the sect and he would unseal the head then!
As he teleported with the use of the formations he was still contemplating why would Duritz and Ukog become Yuan Fang’s subordinates, they were both talented people that could each make their own sect and raise to prominence.
Yun Jhin felt there was something that he could gain by learning about Yuan Fang’s past.
He felt quite disappointed he wasn’t able to kill him back there but Duritz would have surely unleashed his full power to stall him thus leaving Ukog to regenerate and in the end, he would have lost the opportunity to gain anything besides injuring Yuan Fang.
Yun Jhin’s body materialized outside the meteorite’s range as he flew and appeared directly inside the underground cave.
Marthon bowed as he waited for him up till now and Yun Jhin told him:
“Kill all the spies that were observing Yuan Fang’s whereabouts, not one of them shall escape or you will be punished accordingly, do you understand?”
Marthon bowed and immediately left to do his master’s bidding, while he respected him enormously, he also had lived with him a long time now and he understood when he would be angry or not, he also lived through enough small torture sessions to understand that he didn’t want to anger him at all.
Marthon sighed as he appeared in the dark palace and instructed the elder duo to send out the words to the assassin squad of the sect to annihilate the traitors.
While Yun Jhin brainwashed a lot of people he also hired people from the outside to do his bidding, he didn’t expect much from them and he knew that he would be betrayed but in this situation, he had been able to plan a double ambush because of their betrayal, basically using their own greedy thoughts against them.
Since he was usually known for brainwashing his subordinates Yuan Fang must have surely done something to those spies so he thought he was going to take him by surprise but in the end the one surprised was him!
Yun Jhin unsealed Ukog’s head as it started to struggle out of his iron grip, it tried to jump out of his hand and teleport!
Space started to crack around the head as it tried to forcefully break the restrictions Yun Jhin had laid around the blood river and the sect but unfortunately no matter how broken his teleportation technique was it wouldn’t be able to break through so many layers of spatial restrictions stacked on top of each other!
Ukog felt the world around him turn grey as he glanced at Yun Jhin’s face, his head and soul were tied together and he couldn’t even leave it if he wanted to!
That meant he would surely get tortured until he spilled everything he knew!
Ukog was usually a goofy person who liked to laugh but now all he could do was look serious and endure as he didn’t want to betray Yuan Fang.
But Yun Jhin didn’t care about the wants or needs of the body-less head in front of him.
He looked at him and asked with a smile on his face which made him look like one of the ugliest demons of hell regardless of how handsome he actually was, considering a person’s smile showed their true soul.
Ukog almost felt like fainting in this situation but he couldn’t as Yun Jhin was pumping his head full with ki that kept him awake.
Since Ukog didn’t say anything Yun Jhin decided to start the conversation:
“You should know what I want, spill it out and I will give you a quick and painless death as a reward.”
Ukog gritted his teeth as he tried to self-destruct only for him to cough up a mouthful of blood as Yun Jhin jabbed him in the eye with his thumbs almost poking his eyeballs out.
Ukog however didn’t say anything as he easily endured the physical abuse.
Yun Jhin smiled as he saw how brave he was and then decided to go with more advanced torture techniques, his eyes glowed as a field of energy engulfed the head and practically cut him off from his cultivation base transforming him into a living headless normal human.
Then he put a piece of black cloth over his head and started to pour corroding blood from the river over it.
Ukog’s skin started to blister and boil as his head was melting and recovering at visible speeds, Ukog could feel his soul crying out in pain as some of the blood started to infest it, Yun Jhin’s blood river was helpful for those that cultivated his techniques but poisonous to everything else.
Ukog couldn’t resist anymore as he felt his face continuing to melt and heal at the same time.
He started shouting in pain and anger at the same time, he was angry at himself and Yun Jhin at the same time, he felt his weakness was the sole reason that he was captured by Yun Jhin and he blamed himself because he wasn’t strong enough to endure even one attack from Yun Jhin!
Yun Jhin ignored his cries of pain and continued to pour blood over his head, he couldn’t forcefully brainwash him as he was guarded and he couldn’t sort through his memories either, the fact was that he could only try to get the technique out of him through torture.
As Ukog stepped into the God Realm, Yun Jhin was unable to tap into his memories forcefully unless he was a Peak God realm expert.
So while he found the torture to be bothersome and a time-waster, it was the only way for him to extract the information he needed from Ukog’s severed head.
“Ready to talk yet?”
Ukog still kept his mouth shut as if it was sewed.
Yun Jhin shook his head as he conjured a purple blade of ki and started to skewer his head like he was a roll of kebab meat.
At this point even if he wanted to shout he couldn’t as his vocal cords were impaled by Yun Jhin’s blade ki.
“Let’s roast you a bit.”
Yun Jhin slowly flew down to the blood river as he submerged the skewered head into the river completely.
The place where he submerged the head started to bubble intensely as Yun Jhin removed a pale white skull that had soul fire burning deeply in its eyes.
The skull opened its jaw as a howl coming from its soul tried to attack Yun Jhin only for it to be easily deflected by him, an image of a brown ape appeared behind the skull which indicated the original form of the skull owner’s soul.
Yun Jhin chuckled seeing the brown ape and waved his hand cutting into the ape making it start bleeding blue blood.
The ape howled as it started beating its chest but it was obviously massively weakened after that injury.
“Ready to spill the beans yet?”
The ape continued to beat his chest as it seemed to be defying till the end!
“Ok, then I guess I will have to up the level by quite a bit then.”
Yun Jhin’s eyes turned full crimson as his arm impaled the ape’s chest directly taking something out that resembled a yellow sphere and crushing it!
The ape immediately deflated like a balloon, all of its resistance faded away as its head started to shrink.
A small voice came out of the shrank head that said:
“Give it back…”
Yun Jhin chuckled as he created another yellow sphere out of the air and waved it in front of the shrunk head of the ape while saying:
“So what do you say? Your origin core for some measly information? Then you can lay down for eternal rest.”
“Give it back….”
“Hmm?”
Yun Jhin didn’t think he snatched his thinking core when he inserted his hand into his soul, why was he only repeating those words?
“Give it back, give it back!”
The ape started to turn furious as its deflated head started to return to normal proportions, his brown fur started to slowly change color from brown to a dull crimson as his aura intensified while he glared at Yun Jhin.
Yun Jhin looked at what was happening with an interested look on his face as he said:
“Oho? What’s this?”
Ukog’s soul fused with the white skull as it started to morph from a human one into an ape one, his body suddenly started to reconstruct immediately on the spot but instead of a human body, it was a red-haired ape body!
The ape snarled at him as its muscles flexed and its cultivation skyrocketed to the 3rd stair of the God Realm, it started to beat its chest as it wanted to go on a rampage!
Yun Jhin took another look at the ape’s body then clapped as he said:
“I don’t think I want to see what you are capable of so I will have to stop you here.”
Yun Jhin waved his hand as the blood river beneath him started to bubble.
