My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar - Chapter 212
Yun Jhin’s main body woke up suddenly, he looked around and then clenched his chest as he felt something being cut off from him, he frowned as he realized that he couldn’t communicate with his out of body incarnation anymore.
He could still perceive its existence which meant it didn’t die however he couldn’t exert any more influence over it, he couldn’t give it ki nor talk with it, if it got into a perilous situation he wouldn’t be able to save it.
He sighed, it seemed that the celestial realm was either a higher dimension or a sealed one, or maybe even both.
Right now he didn’t know what would happen to his out-of-body incarnation but considering it had the looks, aura, and bloodline of Duritz, as long as he made his way to his ancestral home he should be able to end up well…
********************
Yun Duritz felt light-headed as he saw the bear that was looking at him, it seemed that it was an intelligent beast and it seemed to be amused?
He got up from the ground as he ignored the bear that was looking at him as if he was a clown, he didn’t have time to entertain the local wildlife and from his cultivation fluctuations, he was just a weakling at the ki cultivating realm, he didn’t care about such weak beings at this moment, considering it was smart and it didn’t get in his way he would let it live.
The bear knew that laughing at someone like this was risky but most of the celestial realm people could be considered peaceful, at least the bear never met someone who would attack him because he laughed at him, he might get a scolding or even a beating but he wouldn’t be attacked with the intent to kill, it just couldn’t help itself.
Yun Duritz started to move through the forest and found himself quickly lost, as he walked in the well-lit forest he found himself to be in a type of tree maze, the further he walked in the more he found himself unable to differentiate left from right.
He found what happened to be very strange as he had a great sense of direction, could his body not be adapted to the laws of the celestial realm yet?
Naturally, the body shouldn’t have been rejected by the laws as it had the full bloodline of Duritz flowing inside of it, it didn’t matter that the body was made from the blood river as Yun Jhin only created a heartless shell, if the shell had a different heart and Yun Jhin transplanted Duritz’s into it, it could have been a problem.
Yun Duritz clutched his head as he felt an intense pain in it, it came directly from the soul fragment that acted as the controller of the body, it felt like his connection to the main body was slowly being removed by the laws of this world and he could feel somewhat strange, however, his thoughts didn’t change much besides that he wasn’t able to communicate with his counterpart anymore.
Yun Duritz ignored the changes that were happening to his psyche as there was nothing he could do in this situation.
For now, he wanted to get out of this forest and find some civilization as he wanted to return to Duritz’s clan and take over it slowly, sooner or later he would be able to open the gate directly and invite his main body in the celestial realm!
He decided to stop wandering through the forest as there was nothing he could do until his sense of direction turned back to normal, for now, he decided to cultivate as he sensed the plentiful and pure energy around him.
Yun Duritz took in deep breaths as he felt his senses clearing up the more he cultivated, his stagnant cultivation started to stir again as the pure azure energy went through his body and circulated through his ki pathways at quick speeds accordingly to the cultivation technique he practiced.
Yun Duritz felt his head clearing up, the energy here compared to the mortal realm was like the difference between heaven and earth, but considering this place had the word ‘celestial’ in it, it would be quite disappointing if it didn’t have high-quality ki filled environment.
As he stabilized his situation he could feel that his cultivation also broke through rather quickly to the 4th stage and if he continued cultivating he might even reach the 5th stage before he left the forest!
As his body acclimatized to the environment of the realm he felt just like a fish back in the water, his power was also increasing every moment he cultivated, his internal substructure was changing every moment to adapt to the bloodline in his body, while his body gained the bloodline of Duritz, it didn’t fully assimilate it yet but with the help of the celestial energy, his body was changing to reach the same level that Duritz reached when he was alive!
Yun Duritz’s breath stopped for a few seconds then he got back to his feet as he stopped cultivating, his eyes changed to a deep azure color as his blonde hair reached waist length, it was spiky and though, even though his face and body resembled Duritz’s his hair and eyes weren’t the same up till now.
He stretched his whole body as his bones started to crack making sounds that scared some of the natural fauna around.
Yun Duritz could feel that his body refining improvement was huge due to the changes the bloodline was doing to his body, it was even stronger than the normal body refiners level, if a normal body refiner at the 7,000 ranks had the power level of 1,000 then Yun Duritz’s power level would be 2,000 at the same level.
He was 2x stronger body-wise due to his bloodline alone!
He felt like there was more potential to this out of body incarnation than things let on, it might even be able to help him with his ascendance!
He shook his head after this thought went through his mind, it was too early to think about that, now that his sense of direction returned he started to make sense of this forest as he navigated through it and tried to leave.
The forest wasn’t extremely big but it was still the same size as the blood throne sect and considering he wasn’t at the God Realm anymore it would take him a little bit more time to leave the place.
*******************
In the northern direction 150,000 kilometers away from the forest a big city existed, it was full of nicely decorated streets and tall yellow buildings that glowed in the afterglow of the sun in the afternoon.
In the biggest and most decorated building in the city, a man was kneeling to a tall blonde haired woman, her assets were so big that anyone who looked at them wouldn’t be able to tear their eyes away, she was more on the heavy side and she wore a tight-fitting outfit that didn’t look to be a good match on her.
The man told her in a serious tone:
“It seems someone has returned from the mortal realm, it’s strange considering almost no one had gone through the gate in the last 50 years unless we count that traitor who kidnapped the young master.”
The tall woman hummed as she thought about it, it couldn’t be the traitor as he was too smart and insidious to return to the celestial realm so soon, as things haven’t settled down yet.
Then her eyes started to shine as she thought of something else:
“Could it be our little Duritz? Could have he escaped from that insidious man’s control?”
The man continued kneeling as he didn’t say anything, he didn’t want to give his lady false hope.
*****************
Yun Duritz finally left the forest after a few hours of navigating through it and then he met head to head with a troop of people that were patrolling around, Yun Duritz used his stealth technique as he sensed people ahead and waited nearby one of the trees for them to leave:
“Let’s get this going stop lazing around you dogs!”
“Oy captain why are you so tense? No one ever uses the door from the mortal realm, there is literally no chance for anyone to come, this is a leisure job.”
“While it’s true you know that if we don’t at least put up a little work we might be changed from our position, how many top-grade spirit stones have you used to get this easy post?”
“Sheesh man just relax a little, what could happen?”
Suddenly a ringing sound was heard as the captain of the patrol took out an inscribed bamboo piece from his clothes and started talking into it, after a short while he started to give orders:
“There is a chance our young prince is back, encircle the forest but don’t attract the attention of the person who used the portal as it might not be our prince, we first need to identify the person before we take further actions.”
The man who was talking about taking it easy finally found out that this job wasn’t all easy as he was made to encircle the gigantic forest with their troops which wasn’t possible at all!
“I know about your doubts but there are only a few exits that you can take from this maze-like forest, actually we are near one right now.”
Yun Duritz knew that with his current identity he wouldn’t find trouble if he revealed himself to the troops so he slowly made himself look like he just exited the forest.
The captain immediately recognized his face and wild hairstyle, his face sprang up as if he saw a relative and quickly came towards him to give Yun Duritz a big hug.
