My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar - Chapter 215
Yun Duritz sat cross-legged on his new bed as he started to cultivate using the surrounding ki in the air, the ki in his residence was richer than the one he used to cultivate in the forest and its quality was also higher by a few notches.
As he breathed in and out accordingly to the technique that Lin Luan taught him.
Inside the house, Lin Luan got back on the throne meant for the head of the family and rang a bell that was installed on the throne five times in a row with a delay of 2 seconds between the rings.
All of the important elders and guards of the family that were either hiding or either in closed-door cultivation immediately appeared in the room of the house, some of them bowed some of them kneeled in front of her, but they were all showing respect to her as there was no one above the middle stages of the God Realm along with them, the true reserve powers wouldn’t bother themselves with such meetings.
She sat on the throne as she looked at everyone from above and said:
“Our Lin family has finally regained its true successor!”
“Our little Duritz is finally back!”
“From now on you shall deliver ten hibiscus tears, ten black-bodied beetles along with water from the pond of longevity at the successor training house behind our clan home, he is confined there until he will break through to the 1st stage of the God Realm.”
“Yes, House lady!”
The guards said in unison while continuing to kneel, the elders started to caress their beards as they muttered:
“The young master is back? That’s great news! However, it’s quite unfortunate he hadn’t been able to break through to the God Realm up till now… I wonder what happened to him?”
“Well, who knows what he went through while he was under that slime balls control, what was his name again? Yuan something? He is lucky we cannot leave the celestial realm as its guardians or we would have given him a good walloping and then decapitated him!”
“Anyways we should go meet the young master as well right? We haven’t seen him since he had completed his last trial to become a man… I wonder if he still doesn’t resemble his father at all?”
Lin Luan knocked on the chair’s armrests as she said:
“You can only go there and send him the things that I told you to, you cannot waste his time with questions or trying to see him, you can only see him after he breaks through! Do you understand?”
The bunch of elders shut up as they bowed again and disappeared, since they couldn’t see the prince they might as well leave as the job of deliverance was left for the guards and weaker members of the family.
Yun Duritz could feel something change to the substructure of the space around him, it felt like his whole destiny was getting a huge and qualitative change!
“What is this… have I been accepted by the Celestial realm so easily?”
Getting accepted by a realm was when the destiny governing it would flow through your body and embrace it, this would naturally happen when a person was born in the realm and they would gradually realize the destiny is flowing through their body the higher their cultivation was, having a high amount of destiny meant more luck and more luck meant that there was a chance you could become a fortuned one!
Yun Duritz had memories from Yun Jhin’s main body so he knew that fortuned ones weren’t always born with their constitution and they could also be created but the requirements were either random or they had to be exact so Yun Jhin couldn’t create a fortuned one if he wanted to, it was up to luck even if he knew the steps to create one.
“With this amount of destiny flowing into my whole body, I should be able to go to that Soul Emperor’s tomb and get out of it unscathed with his whole inheritance!”
His body was so full that it was almost overflowing, being accepted by the celestial realm which was the purest and highest realm in existence meant that the destiny that he had gathered was almost higher than the one accumulated by his main body over thousands of reincarnations!
“Just one action and I’m like the carp that jumped over the dragon gate!”
He could feel that his meridians were getting cleared up as his ki pathways enlarged, his body started to shake as the changes brought by the almost liquid amount of destiny that was currently being infused into his whole body.
“Hahaahahah!”
His muscles started to round up firmly achieving a perfect balance between strength and speed, even though he could be considered rather bulky before just as an apprentice bodybuilder, now he was lean just like a professional swimmer.
His body cultivation was currently jumping up like crazy as he made use of the destiny flowing through his body, unlike his main body who had to steal destiny in small amounts and make sparing use of it because he would get a backlash from the universe if he used too much.
All the destiny his main body got was through plunder and of course, the universe wasn’t glad its darlings were killed and looted so Yun Jhin could only use the destiny to temper himself rather rarely and he would rather use other resources instead of incurring some ‘tribulations’ that shouldn’t even exist.
As Yun Duritz made use of the destiny he could feel that his body reached a plateau and it couldn’t grow strong anymore, it reached the peak of the peak meaning the rank of 10,000! His bloodline was roiling in his body as red veins appeared around his whole body and engulfed him into a cocoon that filled the whole room.
The first batch of ingredients was sent at the same time he entered the cocoon and when the others looked through the window and saw the red cocoon they started to clear their eyes before asking each other:
“Is our young master a caterpillar? What’s with that cocoon?”
“Should we alert the young lady?”
“Uh… I guess we should, who knows how will the young lady react? But first, let’s just deliver the items so she won’t say we skipped our work.”
The door had a moderate-sized hole in it that was covered by a dark green metal, the duo removed the metal and looked through the hole to see tentacles growing out of the cocoon and reaching out for their eyes!
They almost got scared to death as they fall backward and threw the ingredients in the hole before quickly sealing it up with the green metal.
“We need to go now!”
The duo rushed back into the house and immediately alerted Lin Luan.
Lin Luan eyes widened as she heard what happened with her little brother and immediately left the house to arrive directly at the building in the back, looking through the window she started to analyze the cocoon as she muttered:
“This is? Peak body refinement? That was extremely fast! How did he do that?”
She finally looked at the noon sky and saw the currents of air moving weirdly.
“Destiny? What is with this ludicrous amount of destiny! What’s wrong with the realm?”
“Could it be? My little bro was chosen?”
“But this didn’t happen to our family since the first ancestor’s generation… are we really this lucky?”
Lin Luan felt something wasn’t right but she couldn’t put her finger on it, however, there was nothing she could do in this situation besides looking over her little brother’s transformation, she wondered how will he look after the momentous transformation the immense amount of destiny will bring him.
“Let’s just wait and see…”
Yun Duritz knew that he was being observed not only by his sister but by some strong ancestors that woke up because of the commotion he caused, but that was what he wanted to do!
If he could rack in huge attention the transition between his ascension as the clan lord and his sister abdicating would be as smooth as butter!
If he showed enough strength and talent the ancestors would surely accept him as the clan lord and afterward, he would be able to do what he wanted as long as he didn’t put the clan or its interests at risk!
Yun Duritz had quite a lot of ideas that he wanted to employ after he became the clan lord, from what he understood the Lin clan were the guardians of the eastern gate of ascendance which meant there must be 3 other gates in the celestial realm!
The environment in the celestial realm was too good compared to the mortal realm and he always thought about how much his main body could benefit from entering this realm and he could feel that his main’s body strength was continuously increasing even though he couldn’t communicate with it or get any help from it anymore.
Yun Duritz’s body was continuously changing in the cocoon as his thoughts went elsewhere, he was thinking about the future and there was one word that was always surfacing in his mind:
“INVASION!”
