My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar - Chapter 221
Yun Duritz knew that the technique wasn’t perfected yet, he had used a lot of energy and concentration to enslave Lin Lang so that meant he couldn’t do the process with more than one person so he had to enslave them one by one.
Lin Lang transmitted him that they were still looking through the loot he had brought back which meant it wasn’t the time to enslave them yet, only when they left to study more deeply by themselves would he make his move.
It didn’t take him much waiting time before Lin Lang reported to him that his sister had taken a jade slip and left to her room to study it further so she could gain some enlightenment from it.
“Payback time… I will show you who will say uncle in the end…”
As a rather prideful being who was once at the peak of the God Realm Yun Duritz’s soul fragment was quite vengeful even for the smallest things that would be done to him, he was actually quite childish in this regard but he knew when to stop himself, however, he would strike quickly and mercilessly if the opportunity arrived.
And the opportunity was sweetly within his grasp, all he had to do was put his hand over it and grasp it firmly, at this point all of the elders and guards were either rummaging through the pile of antiques or either leaving quickly for their residences to absorb the knowledge.
This was the best time to strike!
Lin Luan’s room was near the end of the house just as you left to the garden so he got there rather quickly as he just saw the door of her room closing itself.
Yun Duritz took a few steps towards the door then knocked while saying:
“Big sis, your Lil bro has come for some chatting, I think Lin Lang had informed you already about the things I want to talk to you about.”
Some shuffling could be heard from behind the door as it opened shortly, Luan’s head sticking out of the door as she said:
“Oh sure Lil bro, come in come in, this was supposed to be your room anyways.”
Yun Duritz entered and looked around, it was a scarcely decorated room with a bed a dining table, and a cauldron, it wasn’t much different from the room behind the house. The only difference would be that this room had two windows while the one behind the house only had one.
“Lin Lang told me you talked with him that you recovered some of your memories and you want me to help you recover some more?”
“Yeah that’s true big sis, some of them came back with the help of the inheritance from the tomb, I haven’t been actually that truthful with all of you, besides that pile of manuscripts, jade slips, and other knowledge filled papers I have also got the direct inheritance from the Soul Emperor himself!”
“The direct inheritance? Wow, that’s great Lil bro? Mind if you shared it with your big sister?”
“Ah, the thing about that is…”
“Hmm? You don’t want to share Lil bro? Do you want to try and say uncle again?”
“It’s not that I want but I can’t, all of the inheritance had disappeared from the tome that I learned it from then it self-destructed.”
“You for real?”
“Yeah but I can try to teach it to you, however, I’m not sure if it would work considering that I learned it very quickly from the tome which showed that there would either be great difficulties teaching it to someone directly or that it’s almost impossible unless you… you know absorb my soul with my agreement.
“Then forget it Lil bro, it’s good enough you got to learn the techniques yourself, we shouldn’t be too greedy, it’s unfortunate that you aren’t able to teach the techniques to others in the family.”
Yun Duritz laughed awkwardly as he got closer to her and said:
“Then shall we talk about our past?”
“Yeah sure let’s get going, getting back your memories is a benefit for everyone, you might even break through to the God Realm!”
Then she started to narrate some events that happened to the two of them when they were young, Yun Duritz listened to everything and memorized it as his hand started to sneak towards her chest.
While she was entranced in her storytelling she didn’t realize until she felt a little touch on her breasts:
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING LIL BRO? WE ARE BLOOD-RELATED!”
“Oh it’s a misunderstanding, I’m not touching you there for that.”
“Eh? Then why would you even?”
Suddenly she looked down as blood started to gush from her mouth and a moderately sized hole appeared in her chest:
“You… you aren’t Lin Duritz!”
“Too late to realize that you fool!”
The same thing as with Lin Lang happened with Luan, her eyes turned vacant as she became unconscious while Yun Duritz slowly started to take over her soul, this time it took even longer considering she was two stages above Lin Lang’s cultivation.
Her eyes opened as a light flickered therein and she bowed towards Yun Duritz while saying:
“Master.”
“Another one has been added to my collection, splendid!”
“Tell me the living locations of all of the God Realm elders and guards.”
The information was swiftly sent towards his soul as he got what he needed thus leaving her behind with the guise of still learning from the jade slip.
Yun Duritz started to disappear and appear around the house slowly taking control of the whole Lin household, elders, grand elders, and guards that were at the God Realm but below the late stage.
All of the late-stage cultivators were either meditating inside the deepest layers of the house that Yun Duritz couldn’t get without attracting their attention, and he wasn’t at the God Realm yet with his ki cultivation so it would be a stretch to fight those people yet, either way, he had enslaved all of the surface forces of the family and he was now truly in control of the Lin family, they were also way more serious and Yun Duritz even imparted them some of his cultivation experiences coming from Yun Jhin’s memories thus their cultivation bases and battle power had improved by a bit, they only had to digest the experiences and they might even breakthrough in a thousand years or so.
Now that he had whole control of the family he had gone to the library and read every book that could be found in it, then he got his hands on the most important information book that the patriarch could only get with the acceptance of the council of elders but considering Yun Duritz controlled everyone he just shuffled through it and absorbed all of the information without the need of any approval.
“So this is how the bloodlines are inserted into the database of the gate… It seems that those that do not have any connection to the celestial realm can’t enter even if they have their bloodline in the records… that’s interesting.”
Fortunately for Yun Jhin he had a celestial bloodline and his efforts weren’t in vain, all Yun Duritz had to do was insert the bloodline into the database of the gate and Yun Jhin would be able to ascend to the celestial realm where he could finally wreak havoc and get continuous breakthroughs due to the especially good environment.
Yun Duritz left the city to return to the gate’s location back into the forest where he summoned it according to the instructions he read in the book, he used his blood as a catalyst along with a chant and the door appeared, but it was different compared to the time he saw it in the mortal realm.
It wasn’t as shining anymore and a small compartment opened up on the side that had quite a lot of samples of blood in it, each labeled with the names of the families that lived under the control of the Lin house.
“Hmmm all I have to do is insert Yun Jhin’s blood here and he would be able to arrive at the celestial realm but the question is… how shall I even tell him he can come?”
“Well, whatever let’s finish the job here first.”
He still had Yun Jhin’s bloodline in his body as he kept it there in case of emergency or if he ever needed the blood for something.
He took it out as he stabbed himself in the chest and let the blood flow into a small container that he got for this occasion, he then inscribed Yun Jhin’s name on the container and put it in the opening.
He then closed it and did some more hand seals letting the portal disappear and return to its normal place and activity.

In the mortal realm at the blood throne sect under the dark palace, Yun Jhin opened his eyes as he felt his bloodline resonating with the location of the celestial realm’s portal…
“Ah I didn’t even have to wait for much time… but what can I expect from myself besides extreme efficiency?”
