My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar - Chapter 223
The dance made Yun Jhin stumbled for half a second, they were in a serious life and death situation and now they were doing a comedic dance?
However, Yun Jhin’s eyes widened as he realized that the dance didn’t mean to have a comedic effect, a curtain of light enveloped the 3 elders as they transformed into motes of light that fused!
Yun Jhin could almost not believe his eyes such a special technique existed, he could only fuse with out-of-body incarnations, clones, or avatars but there was no fusion technique meant to fuse two different individuals into one body, at least he didn’t know of any.
But the impossible just happened in front of his eyes!
Yun Jhin was both happy and apprehensive as the fusion process finished almost instantly, out of the light came a rather young androgynous person, when the three of them looked like they had half a step into the grave the person that came out looked middle-aged at best.
It seemed the fusion was successful as the combined voices of three people came out of the middle-aged androgynous person’s mouth:
“We shall take you down in the name of the Lin family you impostor!”
Yun Jhin’s features turned back to normal as he cracked his neck and knuckles his form started to morph as his muscle mass increased but not to a high amount, it was basically graded 2 on the transformation tier list.
His hair grew in length as it turned pale green and a devilish tail grew out of his tailbone as it started to move menacingly behind him, he put his hand through space as he reached into his personal spatial dimension to take out a long halberd that was red as blood, after many tempering in the blood river his halberd became a Godly tiered weapon!
He could feel a strong pressure coming from the fused being in front of him, it was to the point that he actually needed to get serious for the second time in this life, up till now the only other occasion when he got serious was when he was injured fighting Yuan Fang on that dying planet… this could be considered the second time.
Yun Jhin’s spat out a white cloud as his figure was enshrouded in the cloud and disappeared from the view of the fused being.
The fused being looked around trying to identify where Yun Jhin could have gone but a puzzled expression appeared on its face as it realized that Yun Jhin was nowhere in the closed space they were in!
That was impossible considering the pentagram formation cut off the outside and Yun Jhin couldn’t exit it until the formation was broken, up till now there was no opportunity for Yun Jhin to leave.
Thus the fused being took a defensive stance as it kept its guard up and continued to look around, it didn’t know when or where Yun Jhin would strike from but it was ready for any sneak attacks.
A halberd suddenly appeared from nowhere ready to cleave the fused being in two pieces vertically but the being blocked it by putting its arms in an X only leaving a small gash on its forearms.
That gash suddenly started to flow with green blood as the fused being staggered and its face started to pale:
“You even use poison? But how insidious can you get…”
“You have fused and you have the gall to talk about fairness?”
Yun Jhin couldn’t help but retort, fusion was a rather strong technique and if they wouldn’t have been trapped in the formation combined with the fact that they were rather reluctant to destroy their surroundings Yun Jhin would have had huge troubles dealing with them.
The halberd didn’t stop as it struck from left-right, low and high trying to get the upper hand against the fused being, while the being didn’t use any weapon its hands alone were deadly enough to be considered high graded weapons.
The clashes between their hands and Yun Jhin’s halberd created sparkles of highly condensed light that started to burn the pentagram formation below them.
However, Lin Luan, Lin Lang, and the others started to dig deeper into their wrists as more blood flowed into the formation keeping it going at any price regardless of how weakened they would become because of blood-loss.
Yun Jhin’s clashes with the fused elders increased in intensity as shockwaves started to spread in the formation making it start cracking due to the intense strain it was exposed, it couldn’t be helped as the formation had been raised quite suddenly and while it did have many rare materials used for its construction it was battle between near-peak entities no matter how rare the materials were they couldn’t handle this much strain without being tempered for a long time.
Yun Jhin coughed a glob of blood as he got hit in the stomach and his internal organs were shaken by the impact but the fused elders took two steps back as they tried to remove the halberd that was impaled in their chest, their strength started to be sapped away by halberd as it glowed with an ethereal bloody light.
Yun Jhin appeared in front of them as he put his hands on the handle of the halberd starting to absorb the bloody light into his body, his rather pale complexion started to return to normal before it became a healthy red color.
The halberd ‘blood-sucking’ ability had been bestowed by the blood river after being soaked in it for a certain period of time.
“HAAAAAAAAA!”
The fused elders let out a scream as they pushed the halberd out of their chest while inflating their muscles and hardening them afterward to stop more blood from gushing out.
Yun Jhin suddenly disappeared and appeared in front of them without them being able to move a muscle… it was the time skip technique!
The three-in-one person felt their vision swimming as its chest was impaled again with the halberd but this time the halberd came into its chest then out of its back, Yun Jhin closed his eyes as his hands started to vibrate the handle of the halberd immediately messing up the insides of the fused elders.
The androgynous face started to split up and age as their fusion started to run out of juice, their fused body was too damaged to be held together anymore so they split into three people again and the injuries that the fused body withstood were inflicted on their bodies as well but two times as intense!
They fell to the ground with frothing at the mouth as the poison infiltrated their nervous system.
It was a poison meant to deal with God Realm experts so it couldn’t be flushed out so easily, all of Yun Jhin’s attacks were enhanced with laws so while they could heal the damage dealt by him rather easily it would take time, something that they did not have right now, a fight between God Realm experts was one of endurance but Yun Jhin flipped logic around with his shameless tactics and immense knowledge of various poisons.
The four elders were all immobilized and it was time for them to meet their new master…
Yun Jhin’s mind control technique was successfully used on the three of them without any hitch as they were both immobilized and weakened by a lot, even though their cultivation base was 3 stages higher than Yun Jhin’s his battle power and strong body made up the gap between them rather inconsequential, while they were old their battle power wasn’t anything great nor did they seem experienced. They were actually quite weak if they would be compared with those from the mortal realm but they could be considered country hicks in the celestial realm so if you thought of it a little bit more deeply it wasn’t surprising they were rather weak.
As he connected with the minds of the four God Realm experts an immense amount of information assaulted his soul as he smiled in understanding:
“Eastern, western, northern, southern and central… these were all of the parts of the celestial realm and each had a gate that leads to the mortal realm, the families that protected them were all quite similar to the Lin Family only the northern and southern ones being a rank higher them both having peak God Realm experts. The only difference being the central area where the actual Empire and the actual Emperor of the celestial realm was…”
From all of the memories of the four, he learned that the Emperor of the Celestial Realm could be considered the strongest being in existence as he was also a half-a-step into the realm above the God one, he was exactly just like Hell’s willpower! But unlike Hell’s willpower, he could move around the whole realm if he wanted to and he didn’t need a vessel to carry him around. Now all the ramblings of Hell’s willpower made sense, it was rather jealous and envious of the celestial Emperor’s ability to walk around.
As he took control of the eastern Lin family he controlled around 10% of the celestial realm, the other directions also controlled around 10% while the central realm controlled a whopping 60%.
Naturally, from now on he would have continued to expand firstly getting his hands on the other weaker family before moving on to the southern and northern families but it was quite early for that… he still needed to break through once more and his attack should also be a blitz type attack if he didn’t want the central region to realize what was happening, he needed to leave no witnesses or else there was a chance word would leak out.
Yun Jhin took in a deep breath as he sat on the throne and waved his hand:
“Everything should go on as normal from now on, report to me whatever news you find to be more important but that’s all I don’t want to be disturbed while I cultivate, have I made myself understood?”
This message was sent telepathically to everyone who was connected to him when suddenly a shout could be heard coming from outside the house.
“Missive, a missive from the central region for the new patriarch Lin Duritz!”
Yun Jhin frowned as his face, aura and body changed to Lin Duritz’s and he let the messenger enter the house and arrive at the throne room.
