My Last Hunt - Chapter 378
Class Test 8
Water droplets brought her senses back. “Can I take my weapon and leave? Is it done?” Qiao asked. Aino blinked for brief, she was looking at him speechless whether to get angry or not. But to see his indifferent expressions, she let it aside. “Yes it is completed. If you ever feel that your opponent is stronger you can add stronger beast stones at the three edges. It would keep the weapon worth stable.”
Aino gave last bit of advice. Qiao nodded, picked the weapon and left. Aino blankly looked him leaving without speaking anything. She never met any hunter of this temper or habits. This hunter seemed in hurry always. He was indifferent to most of the thing for which the others might battle till their life ends.
Aino stood up and closed the door so that she could securely keep the tools and equipment. The assistant helplessly watched the hunter rushing out of the vicinity of the town. He was going to remember those threatening eyes. Qiao reached at the hill and started his journey toward the North Sepedra.
…
A girl was rushing using all her strength. She stole some of the information about her father. Her destiny was the North Sepedra. Lowa was determined to bring back her father from the clutches of the beasts. At the same time she was immensely happy that she would be able to see her father. She was one year old when her father left for few missions later he went missing for a decade.
Lowa was not ready to believe others. She wanted to prove them wrong. It had been many days that she started this journey right after knowing that her father was alive. She was pushing her level six strength to reach the North Sepedra.
She looked at the stolen map and halted her journey. The surrounding was showing the signs that her destination was not much away any further. Lowa disguised her bare hands and pasted dark dust on her lips covering half face.
Now she was ready to enter in the North Sepedra. Meanwhile the Lord of the North Sepedra was waiting for spy beast at the periphery. The spy beast was sent to check the ongoing activities in the Hightown. The strong reason behind was different. Lord and the Council Beats wanted to know the recent about the recent meeting in the First Tower in the Hightown.
The disloyals told them that the Rank Masters were planning about the Frost Fire Continent. The details were confidential. Someone needed to steal the reports or use some other way to get the hands on information. Wherever the beasts were in power, their first priority was to keep the Frost Fire Continent intact from any damage.
It was natural for the Beast Lord of the North Sepedra to send someone for this purpose. The girl silently entered in the periphery yet immediately surrounded by the beasts. She was stunned but did not act baffled. “What is your blood?” The Lord beast asked the first question.
For the purpose of security they set some code answers so to recognize friends among enemies. The answer was simple but the girl was silent. What she was supposed to answer? Despite thinking she could not speak anything. The beasts stepped ahead. The silence of the beast brought suspicion.
“What is your aim?” Lord beast also stepped ahead and asked one last. “I wanted to search my lost father. Lowa gathered all courage and spoke. “Wait…” Lord Beast shouted before the Council beast could kill the girl. “Who is your father?” Lord beast asked changing his tone milder.
“Hunter King Zim is my father. Do you do know where I could find him?” Lord beast stood speechless. The girl was asking about him. “You are Lowa? How should I believe? I was told that you and your mother died when the town was raided by the monsters.” Lord beast Zim stuttered.
All these years he was living with the impression that there was no one left in his family. “No, I survived.” Lowa did not mention that her mother also survived. “Why should I believe, show me your face.” Lord Zim inquired. Lowa removed the face cover.
Lord Zim stepped back. The girl was not speaking lie. Her face has some resemblance with her mother. “Don’t think to deceive me, let me see your right hand.” Lord stepped ahead in hurry and held her hand to see the birth symbol. It was there.
He was glad to finally see his daughter alive. Lord Zim turned to others, “Wait for the spy here and bring him in the meeting later.” He helped the little girl on the back of the beast and flew toward the dark building. The thick forest stalled over the ground blocking the day light. Most parts of this forest remained in the dark for this reason.
These beasts built few building to mimic the living of the hunters however most of them still hide among hills. Hunter King Zim was selected as the Lord of this place after he shared some secret information and took oath to do everything for the Beast Rule.
He was more than satisfied because for Hightown he was only a recruited hunter that they could call him anytime and send for mission. He could not wait to get old and then expect some position the ranks.
Among beasts of North Sepedra he was Lord and they listened to his orders. It was most favorable rather than work like nobody. He was working for the Beast Lords of the Frost Fire Continent. All Dens of the stronger beasts were following single aim.
At various parts of the seven continents, beasts were taking hold in the small islands initially encouraged by the Lords of the Frost Fire Continent. They knew that their pace was slow however it was better rather than no moving at all.
Their first attempt was to weaken the rule of the Hightown in most parts, search the loyals and kill them, contact the disloyals and earn their trust toward beasts.
