My Life Or Your Memory - Chapter 104
Before Lu Changying had the chance to react, Xie Jingyu dragged Yu Huiyin past her and entered the office. He completely ignored her, and the utter ignorance caused her face to alternate between blue and white.
The secretaries who had been observing everything from the very start were scared. While they knew that they were not in danger of losing their jobs, as Lu Changying did not influence the Xie Corporation, they still feared for other aspects of their lives.
They had seen Lu Changying at her lowest, heard the conversation between the two, and now they knew that they were likely to be the poor people on which she would vent her frustrations.
She glanced at all the secretaries, her eyes dark and full of haughty arrogance, and she snorted before turning around and stomping away from the floor.
While she was haughty and arrogant, her heart was bleeding, and she was starting to consider what to do with Yu Huiyin.
If there was no Yu Huiyin, then Xie Jingyu would have been hers. If Yu Huiyin vanished, would he not be hers again? Since, if she was gone, he would not be married any longer, and then he would have to marry her when he turned thirty.
She suddenly smiled, but her smile was not bright and brilliant as one would expect from a beautiful young woman, but grim and eerie. She was already planning on how to get rid of Yu Huiyin.
Just as she went out of the underground parking lot, she saw a car which had been parked at the front of the building even before she arrived, and when she looked into the car, she saw that there was a woman who seemed very attractive, but also cold.
The woman was a foreigner, and for some reason, Lu Changying got the same level of danger signals from her as she did form Yu Huiyin. Was this another person interested in Xie Jingyu?
She walked towards her, and knocked at the window, causing the woman inside the car to roll down the window slowly.
“What can I do for you, Miss?” the woman inside the car asked with a gentle smile on her face, and Lu Changying scoffed slightly.
“Stop looking for Xie Jingyu!” she said proudly. “He is my fiance, and he is not in the mood to deal with strangers. Although he has found a woman whom he is using to keep the focus away from me, I am the woman he truly loves, and he will never look your way as long as I am alive!”
“You are the one whom Xie Jingyu loves?” the woman narrowed her eyes, and a dangerous gleam suddenly flashed within.
Suddenly she reached into her bag, from which a gun came out, pointing straight at Lu Changying.
“Sit next to me, or I will shoot you,” the woman said, her eyes were full of evil intentions, and Lu Changying was suddenly frozen in fear.
“Hurry up!” the woman was not interested in waiting more than absolutely necessary, so she waved the gun slightly, and Lu Changying returned to her senses. Trembling, she sat next to the woman, not sure of what was happening.
“If you want to blame someone, blame Xie Jingyu for being involved in too many dangerous things,” the woman said coldly. “Since you are his beloved, I will let him feel the feeling of losing the one he cares about the most. But don’t worry, I will not let him experience it right away. I want him to see it in person, so you will be safe, for now.”
Lu Changying was full of fear as they drove towards an abandoned factory. Here she was urged inside, and soon she was bound to a chair, her eyes full of panic and fear.
Lu Changying was a young woman from the upper society. She had never experienced anything like this before, and she was so scared that she kept trembling. She was begging for mercy and praying that Xie Jingyu would come and save her.
The woman took Lu Changying’s phone away from her, before she used her fingerprint to unlock the screen. She then searched the phone’s contacts, and when she found Xie Jingyu, she made a call.
Unfortunately, Xie Jingyu was currently with Yu Huiyin in the office, and when he saw that the one who called was Lu Changying, he quickly put the phone in silent mode and ignored her.
In the abandoned factory, Lu Changying got more and more panicked when she realized that Xie Jingyu was not answering the phone.
“You can call my brother,” she said, sobbing while speaking. “My brother is Xie Jingyu’s best friend. As soon as he hears what has happened, he can get a hold of Xie Jingyu and make him come here!”
“Are you sure that you are his true love?” The woman asked while playing around with the gun in her hand. She was cold and emotionless, and Lu Changying did not doubt that if she said anything wrong, she would get instantly shot.
“I… I am,” Lu Changying said while trying to convince herself that she was indeed Xie Jingyu’s true love.
“Okay, I will try your brother,” the woman said as she found the number of a man named Lu Jingshen. “Is this the one?” she asked as she pointed at the name.
“Yes,” Lu Changying answered with fear in her voice while nodding her head like a chicken pecking rice.
The woman called this number, and as it got through, she said in a cold voice. “I have caught Lu Changying. Xie Jingyu has to come to the old milk factory at East River Suburbs tonight, or she will be delivered to his office’s front door tomorrow, with a few holes in her body.”
