My Life Or Your Memory - Chapter 86
Seeing that the man gave her the gun, Yu Huiyin glared at him angrily. She had used guns a few times, and although she was skilled at using them, she had a hunch that she was not as good as the man. But even so, he did not seem to find the problem with leaving everything to her, neither did he find a problem with the fact that they were close to death.
Yu Huiyin grit her teeth, looked out at the side, and shot the first bullet. It landed straight between the eyebrows of one of the men, who fell to the ground dead.
Seeing her aim, the man whistled and leaned back, but there were still many more people left, and now that they had seen Yu Huiyin’s performance, their mood surged, alongside their anger, and they hurried closer.
One shot.
Two shots.
Three shots.
Three men fell down, all of them dead, but Yu Huiyin knew that she could not kill all of them. She was slightly despaired by the fact that she was leaving her family and Xie Jingyu, but she did not feel any regret. She had lived her life brilliantly!
The man was observing every expression on Yu Huiyin’s face. He saw her cold bloodedly kill four men, and he saw her look at the men who were now so close that she could do nothing to stop them.
He saw her eyes full of resolution and slight despair. It was easy to guess that she had accepted fate and was ready for death.
He felt something tugging at his heartstrings. How could this woman possibly be so collected when her life was about to end?
Yu Huiyin gritted her teeth; if she was going to die, she might as well kill as many as possible. She took a deep breath; her eyes turned so black that one might think they were like two black orbs of the night sky, with sparkles like the thousand stars in the night.
He was drawn to her eyes, and suddenly his heart skipped a beat. This woman was not a normal woman. She was not soft at all, nor was she afraid, even when faced with certain death. She was courageous and strong. She was a real woman.
Yu Huiyin took a deep breath before she stood up. A round of bullets flashed towards her, but not many were still alive, and thus she could avoid them, while also taking down another two.
Finally, she ran out of bullets, and the men grinned as they looked at her with malice.
However, before Yu Huiyin had time to accept her death, the manager of the restaurant walked up behind the men who were still alive, and shot them all, one after another, killing them.
Seeing his actions, Yu Huiyin narrowed her eyes. “So you had a backup all along, but decided to just sit back and watch?” she asked as she looked at the alluring man.
Her face held a slight smile, her eyes were sparkling and beautiful, but he could sense a bit of anger within those beautiful eyes.
“He would have been in danger if it was not for you taking down so many of them,” the alluring man said with a grin, and Yu Huiyin sighed, tossed the gun back at the man, and sat down in another chair.
“We are leaving,” the man said, but Yu Huiyin just looked at him with a puzzled expression. “I killed someone,” she said thoughtfully, “I am going to wait for the police.”
Hearing her being so stubborn, the man’s eyes flashed with an unexplainable light. He quickly went to her side, swept her off her feet, and hung her over his shoulder.
Yu Huiyin was complaining, she started kicking and hitting, but moments after, the alluring man knocked her out, after which they left through the back entrance and entered a van.
Inside the van, he placed her on the seats and looked at the unconscious woman. “So this is Xie Jingyu’s wife. He sure has good taste,” the man said with a smile on his face, but it did not reach his eyes.
The manager and the waiter of the restaurant were utterly silent. They did not know what exactly was going on. Why was their boss testing this woman, but now they knew of her identity, and they thought that he would use her to threaten Xie Jingyu.
Things were, however, very different. He had them drive to a safe location, a mansion he had on the outskirts of the city, and here he placed her in a guest bedroom.
He did nothing to her, but he could not help but glance at her a few times before he left.
After leaving, he looked at the two men who were waiting outside.
“Report,” he said as he poured himself a glass of wine.
“The aftermath has been dealt with. Everyone thinks that it was a robbery that went wrong with infighting. They know the restaurant belongs to you Sir, so they did not cause too many problems.
“As for Xie Jingyu, he has been looking everywhere for his wife. After not being able to find her, he is going insane. What do you want to do with her?”
Mo Jinyao contemplated for some time, but he quickly fished his phone out from his pocket, dialed the number of Xie Jingyu, and waited for him to pick up the call.
“CEO Xie?” he asked at the moment that it was picked up.
“Young Master Mo, you better have a good reason to call me,” Xie Jingyu growled on the other end, he was going mental because of his lost wife.
“I know where Yu Huiyin is.”
